Sun Aug 1 201011:34Ibanez scratched from Sunday lineup
Raul Ibanez was scratched from Sunday's lineup with an apparent left wright injury.
It's not clear when the outfielder suffered the ailment, but he was seen in the locker room before Sunday's game with ice on the wrist. He also had an X-ray on the wright Saturday night that came back negative. Hopefully the injury is just minor, because Ibanez's is finally swinging a hot bat, as he has a 10-game hitting streak and a .337 batting mark with four homers and 15 RBI in July. Ben Francisco is playing left field in Ibanez's absence.

Thu Jul 29 201022:35Ibanez goes deep Thursday in win
Raul Ibanez was 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's win over Arizona.
The blast was Ibanez's ninth of the season. The veteran has a nice little hot streak going, as he's batting .458 with two homers and eight RBI over his last seven contests. He'll have to keep it up if he wants to salvage what has been a dreadful season, as he's batting only .263 with 49 RBI.
Fri Jul 23 201022:04He has a pulse: Ibanez racks up three RBI
Raul Ibanez went 3-for-5 with three RBI to lead the Phillies past the Rockies on Friday night.
Contrary to reports, Ibanez does actually have a pulse. As the scapegoat for many of the Phillies' offensive problems, Ibanez has been playing with a ton of pressure on his shoulders. The 38-year-old is declining badly and nights like this are going to be few and far between. The Phillies would love to dump Ibanez on someone at the deadline and call up Dominic Brown, but it's highly unlikely there will be any buyers.
Tue Jun 8 201022:32Ibanez collects four hits in win over Marlins
Raul Ibanez went 4-for-5 with two RBI in Tuesday's win over the Marlins.
The big day raised his batting average to only .246. Ibanez has been a fantasy disappointment this year and has been prone to long stretches of slump, but he took advantage of sloppy Florida pitching tonight.
Fri May 28 201022:46Ibanez triples to end scoreless streak
Raul Ibanez ended the Phillies scoreless streak at 30 innings with a fourth-inning RBI triple.
It was the first time the Fightins had scored a run since the ninth inning of Sunday's game against the Red Sox. They went on to score two more -- including a go-ahead RBI groundout by Chase Utley in the seventh -- to end a five-game losing streak.
Fri May 7 201021:31Ibanez gets it going vs. Braves
Raul Ibanez went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Friday's win over the Braves.
Ibanez has the average up to .250 after a miserable first three weeks of the season, but the signs of decline he showed after that groin injury last season are still there. He's not going to put up any eye-popping numbers even though he's in one of the best spots for RBI production in baseball. Ibanez has just nine extra-base hits in 92 at-bats.
Mon Apr 26 201018:50Ibanez out of the starting lineup on Monday
Raul Ibanez is out of Monday's lineup against the Giants.
Ben Francisco will play left while Wilson Valdez starts at shortstop.
