Sat Aug 14 2021 | 22:09 | Max Fried Makes Easy Work Of Nationals |
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried had little issues with the Washington Nationals lineup on Saturday. He went six innings, allowed five hits, one earned run, and struck out seven in the 12-2 victory. The 27-year-old had a rough start to the season, but has looked sharp over the last few months. In fact, Fried has a 3.08 ERA over his last 15 games with a 1.17 WHIP over 87 2/3 innings. He is set to take the mound against the Baltimore Orioles in his next start. Fried is looking like a reliable streaming choice and DFS option for that matchup against the shaky O's lineup. |

Mon Aug 9 2021 | 11:00 | Max Fried Tosses One-Run Outing On Sunday |
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried continued his successful season against the Washington Nationals on Sunday. He went six innings, seven hits allowed, one earned run, one walk, and five strikeouts in the 5-4 victory. Fried gave up quite a few hits, but was able to work himself out of trouble. He'll carry a 3.91 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 106/34 K/BB into a rematch outing versus the Nationals. Fried will remain a strong DFS option for that one and should be rostered in all fantasy formats right now. |
