The Oakland Athletics placed Josh Phegley on the seven-day concussion disabled list and recalled fellow catcher Bruce Maxwell from Triple-A Nashville on Thursday.Phegley was removed from Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Twins after taking a foul ball off his mask.
