Garnett returned to the starting lineup Saturday, scoring eight points (4-7 FG) with three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in 23 minutes.
Garnett contributed across the box score, but with his resting schedule and limited minutes, his value lies only in deeper leagues. Garnett hasn't scored in double-digits since January 7th, for what it's worth.

Garnett (rest) is back in the starting lineup for Saturday's game, the Nets' official site reports.
Garnett was rested for Thursday's game, as he continues to sit out the second game of most back-to-back sets this season. He's eclipsed 20 minutes just once inthe Nets' last six games, making Garnett a questionable fantasy option on most nights.

Garnett will take a day of rest Thursday against the Clippers, the Orange County Register reports.

Garnett returned in time to face off against Paul Pierce, the first time the two have opposed each other since they first became teammates in Boston. Garnett is still a modest producer, but despite starting, his workload and production are more like those of a bench player. He still has value in deeper leagues, but far less than he has had in recent seasons.
Tue Jan 13 201511:43Kevin Garnett: Suspended One Game
Garnett has been suspended one game for head butting Dwight Howard during Monday's game, Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated reports.
Garnett was issued a technical and ejected just four minutes into Monday's game against Houston after getting into a scuffle with Howard under the basket. He'll sit out Wednesday's matchup with the Grizzlies before being eligible to return Friday in Washington. Howard, who was not ejected, was fined $15,000 by the league.

Garnett was ejected from Monday's game against the Rockets in the first quarter, Tim Bontemps of the New York Post reports.
Garnett lasted just four minutes before getting into a scuffle with Dwight Howard under the basket. Howard appeared to bump Garnett, which led to the veteran shoving him, throwing a ball at him and subsequently headbutting him. The headbutt was the final straw, as Garnett was issued a technical and ejected. The league office will review the incident, but it seems likely Garnett is suspended at least one game.

Garnett sat Friday against the Sixers. His presence relegated Brook Lopez to a reserve role. The Nets engage in two back-to-back sets over the next two weeks, so expect more of the same until otherwise notified.

Garnett will rest against the Sixers on Friday so that he can be available for Saturday's game against the Pistons, the New York Post reports.
Garnett usually sits out the back end of back-to-back games, although it makes far more sense for him to sit against the easier opponent, the Sixers, than the Pistons on Saturday. Just like every other instance this season, Garnett is expected to take on a full workload Saturday.
Mon Jan 5 201518:01Garnett will rest Monday against Mavericks
Garnett will rest Monday against the Mavericks, Andy Vasquez of The Record reports.
After playing 18 minutes Sunday against the Heat, Garnett will be rested on the second hall of a back-to-back set. In his absence, Brook Lopez will re-enter the starting lineup alongside Mason Plumlee.

Garnett (rest) returned to the court Friday and managed to post nine points, six rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 18 minutes of action as a starter.
Garnett is at the point in his career where he'll rarely be playing in both games in a back-to-back situation. That was the case Tuesday as he sat to rest against the Bulls, but the 38-year-old should be available moving forward for Sunday's contest against the Heat.

Garnett will not play Tuesday in the second game of a back-to-back, the New York Post's Tim Bontemps reports.
Brook Lopez will get the start at center next to Mason Plumlee, but Mirza Teletovic will also see extended run with Garnett out. Look for Garnett to be back in the starting lineup Friday.

Garnett (rest) scored 10 points (5-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt) with seven rebounds and four assists in the loss to Cleveland on Friday. He played 30 minutes, his most since Nov. 19.
Garnett took the Wednesday loss to the Raptors off because it was the second game of a back-to-back set. He has grabbed at least seven rebounds in eight of his last nine games, but he doesn't score enough to be a good fantasy player in deeper leagues.
Fri Dec 19 201411:36Garnett will be available Friday night against Cavs
Garnett will be available Friday night against the Cavs, Rod Boone of Newsday reports.
After sitting out Wednesday's game, Garnett should be rested enough to play the 20 plus minutes he averages. Teammate Mirza Teltovic (hip) will also play, so do not expect any extra playing time or spectacular games from Garnett Friday.
Wed Dec 17 201418:46Garnett will not play Wednesday
Garnett will not play Wednesday, the New York Post's Kevin Garnett reports.
Garnett has been getting rested in the second game of back-to-backs this season, so this does not come as a surprise after the Nets played Tuesday. Mirza Teletovic will get the start at power forward.
Wed Dec 17 201412:27Garnett has not been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Rapt...
Garnett has not been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Raptors, the second game in as many nights for the Nets, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reports.
The news here is that the Nets appear ready to allow the veteran to play in his first back-to-back set since mid-November. He's missed the latter half of the team's last three back-to-backs, most recently sitting Saturday against Charlotte after playing 22 minutes in a win over Philadelphia on Friday. Garnett logged 21 minutes against the Heat on Tuesday, grabbing 10 rebounds to go with four points. At this point, it's not a guarantee that he plays, but the fact that he's not listed as "out" or "doubtful" as of Wednesday morning is encouraging.

Garnett (foot) returned to action Tuesday, putting up four points (2-6 FG), 10 rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 21 minutes.
Garnett sat out the Nets' last game to rest his foot on the second night of a back-to-back. With the Nets playing another game Wednesday, there remains an outside chance Garnett could be rested again or at least have his minutes limited. Coming into Tuesday's game, Garnett was averaging 7.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 0.9 steals in 24 minutes per game. Those numbers aren't good enough to roster in anything but deeper leagues.
Sat Dec 13 201417:43Kevin Garnett: (Foot) Out Saturday
Garnett (foot) will not play Saturday against the Hornets, the New York Post reports.
Garnett was able to play 22 minutes Friday, but it seems the Nets don't want to push their luck and play him on back-to-back nights just yet. Coach Lionel Hollins said either Cory Jefferson or Jerome Jordan will start in his absence.

Garnett (foot) will play and start against the Sixers on Friday, the New York Post reports.
Garnett was unable to practice Thursday with a sore left foot but will give it a go Friday. With Mirza Teletovic (hip) out of the lineup, Garnett will likely be able to reach the 23.8 minutes per game that he's averaging this season.
Thu Dec 11 201413:46Garnett (foot) did not practice Thursday
Garnett (foot) did not practice Thursday, Andy Vasquez of The Record reports.
Garnett is dealing with a sore left foot and underwent precautionary X-rays following Wednesday's loss to the Bulls. While the results were negative, Garnett could miss time in the short-term and should be considered questionable for Friday's matchup with Philadelphia. If he sits out or is limited, expect to see more of Mason Plumlee and possibly Cory Jefferson.
