Wed Mar 27 201312:37Randy Foye game-time call w/ gastric distress
Randy Foye will be a game-time decision on Wednesday due to "gastric distress" after missing shootaround.
That does not sound pleasant at all. Foye has been a routine member of the starting five and usually plays between 22-29 minutes per game, so the Jazz will have to rely on Gordon Hayward and Alec Burks to replace Foye if he's forced to sit out.

Sat Mar 2 201303:52Foye (baby) returns to action on Friday
Randy Foye (new baby) returned to action in Friday's blowout win, scoring nine points on 4-of-10 shooting (including a three) with three assists and two steals in 26 minutes.
The Jazz have finally put the ball in Gordon Hayward's (14 points, four boards, four assists) hands and that has returned Foye to 3-point specialist status.

Fri Mar 1 201312:45Randy Foye expected to be in lineup Friday
Randy Foye (new baby) is expected to be in the lineup on Friday.
Foye went through shootaround after his wife had successfully delivered their daughter on Thursday. His stock has been trending downward, so owners in standard formats should be able to do better even if they're trolling for triples.

Thu Feb 28 201312:59Randy Foye out of practice due to new baby
Randy Foye did not practice on Thursday because he and his wife are expecting the birth of a new child.
Congratulations to Foye and his family. The good news is that Foye is healthy and should play on Friday, but he's seen his role decreased of late and isn't more than a bargain bin 3-point specialist right now.

Tue Feb 26 201300:43Randy Foye hits two threes for six points
Randy Foye hit 2-of-8 shots (2-of-6 from deep) for six points with three rebounds over 16 minutes in Monday's 110-107 overtime loss to the Celtics.
Foye has disappeared lately and it's time for owners to look at him as a 3-point specialist only until he proves otherwise.

Sun Feb 24 201301:42Randy Foye scoreless on 0-of-5 FGs vs. Clips
Randy Foye was shut out by Chris Paul and the Clippers on Saturday, finishing scoreless with two assists in 22 minutes.
All five of Foye's misses came from downtown, consistent with his usual shot selection. Utah's starters were trounced throughout the game, which led to plenty of garbage time, but tonight Foye was simply outplayed by backups Alec Burks (32 minutes) and Gordon Hayward (34 minutes).

Wed Feb 20 201300:22Randy Foye scores 15 in a win over GSW
Randy Foye made three 3-pointers and shot 4-of-9 from the field during Tuesday's 115-101 win over the Warriors, scoring 15 points with two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes.
Foye has been responsible for a lot of the scoring with Gordon Hayward out, but he shot just 36.1 percent from the field in those 10 games. He still takes enough attempts from downtown to be a specialist at the very least in standard leagues.

Tue Feb 12 201323:53Randy Foye scores 11 despite injury
Randy Foye had 11 points, zero rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers on 4-of-10 shooting in Tuesday's win.
Foye left the game with a right quad injury, but returned to play through it. We're guessing he'll be ready to go on Wednesday against Minnesota, but owners should check back for an update prior to the game.

Tue Feb 12 201321:37Randy Foye leaves with right quad injury
Randy Foye left Tuesday's game in the first quarter with a right quad injury.
He was limping badly and went to the locker room shortly after a trainer sprayed his thigh with some sort of coolant. He was in considerable pain, but is expected to return. He scored five points before leaving and Alec Burks will see a big bump in minutes while Foye is out.

Tue Feb 5 201301:28Randy Foye puts up 20 points with six assists
Randy Foye shot 6-of-12 from the field for 20 points with six assists in 36 minutes against the Kings on Monday.
He is racking up the 3-pointers and made a total of 14 in his last four games. The Jazz are counting on him for offense with Gordon Hayward (shoulder) out of the lineup. Foye is worth owning in all standard leagues.

Sun Feb 3 201300:39Randy Foye hits six 3-pointers vs. Blazers
Randy Foye made six 3-pointers on Saturday, tying his season-high, but his 23 points weren't enough to steal a road win vs. the Blazers.
Foye had cooled off in his previous three games, shooting a combined 13-of-40 from the field, but these outbursts are well worth waiting for. In addition to his 6-of-12 mark from downtown, he had three assists, two steals and zero turnovers, and he should play even more minutes after an MRI revealed bone bruising and a non-displaced fracture in Earl Watson's leg.

Sat Feb 2 201302:03Randy Foye hits three more triples Friday
Randy Foye made three 3-pointers against the Blazers on Friday to go with 14 points, seven boards, three assists and one steal in 36 minutes.
He shot just 4-of-17 from the field in what was his worst shooting performance since January 5, based on percentage. Foye has been on fire lately and made 50 percent of his field goal attempts in his previous 10 games while providing 2.8 triples per game. The Jazz are really missing a point guard with Jamaal Tinsley (no points) and Alec Burks (two points) the last two guys left standing. Foye should be a great start on Saturday with Gordon Hayward doubtful for Saturday, too.

Thu Jan 31 201303:08Foye hands out season-high 8 assists
Randy Foye had 14 points, zero rebounds, a season-high eight assists, a steal and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes on Wednesday.
Jamaal Tinsley played 17 minutes for two points and two assist, while Earl Watson came off the bench for one point, six rebounds and five assists in 27 minutes. Foye starts at shooting guard, but it looks like the Jazz would be more effective just turning the point guard job over to him at this point. He's hit double figures in scoring in six straight games, but didn't have more than three assists in any of them until tonight's explosion. Foye's worth a fantasy look in all leagues, and is averaging 12.6 points, 0.9 steals and 2.3 3-pointers in the month of January.

Thu Jan 24 201308:14Corbin confident in Randy Foye's shooting
Tyrone Corbin is "very confident" about Randy Foye's ability to shoot.
Foye is shooting 44 percent from deep this season and averaging 2.3 3-pointers per game, both of which are career-high marks for the veteran. Foye is working to improve his shot in practice, and he's scored in double-digits in four of his last five games. Owners who need triples should give Foye a look.

Sun Jan 20 201300:00Randy Foye lights up Cavaliers w/ 20 points
Randy Foye led Utah with 20 points in Saturday's victory, including four 3-pointers, joining five other Jazz players in double-figures.
Foye's copious 3-point shooting makes him a streaky option for points and FG percentage, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a better specialist. To wit, he's averaging 3.5 treys in his past six games, more than half of Utah's team average (6.5).

Tue Jan 15 201301:06Foye scores nine points against the Heat
Randy Foye scored nine points on 3-of-6 shooting (including three treys) with two rebounds, two assists, and one steal in the Jazz's 104-97 win over the Heat on Monday.
Foye had been given extra touches at the point over the past week but the Jazz went away from that tonight, which will reduce Foye to being the streaky 3-point shooter he has been all season. Al Jefferson went for 23 and 11 and Paul Millsap scored 17 points on 4-of-14 shooting with nine rebounds and two steals in the win.

Sat Jan 12 201300:07Foye scores 25 points against the Hawks
Randy Foye scored a season-high 25 points on Friday against the Hawks, hitting 8-of-12 shots (including six threes) with zero rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 41 minutes of action.
Foye is getting a lot more touches nowadays with Mo Williams out, and that is more than likely enough to stabilize some low-end value. And after a night like this, we'd be hard pressed not to pick him up even with his past history of being an inconsistent asset.

Thu Jan 3 201301:57Randy Foye scores four points in 21 minutes
Randy Foye had just four points and two assists on 1-of-4 shooting in 21 minutes on Wednesday.
Foye could be in line for some heavy minutes with Mo Williams out indefinitely with thumb surgery, but has been a hit-or-miss player all season. One look at Foye's game log will quickly show you the inconsistency he's provided all season long, and even with Mo-Will out, things probably won't change much with Foye. But if you can somehow determine on which nights to start him, he will have some big games. Just beware that it's a fantasy crapshoot.

Mon Dec 31 201200:35Randy Foye held to 10 points vs. Clippers
Randy Foye fell flat vs. the Clippers on Sunday, scoring 10 points with one rebound, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes.
He knocked down both of his 3-pointers and didn't turn the ball over, which is nice, but this wasn't a great follow-up to his 28-point eruption on Friday. His inconsistency is tempered at the moment by Mo Williams' indefinite absence with a sprained thumb, so give Foye a look if you need points and 3s.
