Sat Oct 27 201215:11Miami waives Garrett Temple on Saturday
Miami waived Garrett Temple on Saturday.
That means Terrel Harris edged Temple and now Miami has its roster at 15. Even though Harris made the team, he still won't have any value on a loaded Miami squad.

Fri Oct 19 201207:56Temple, Harris competing for last roster spot
Garrett Temple and Terrel Harris appear to be locked into a battle for a roster spot.
Previously the belief was that Harris had the leg up on Temple because Harris was with the team last season, but Temple has asserted himself in camp to the point where the beat writers are noticing his play. Neither player will be relevant to fantasy owners.

Fri Sep 14 201208:24Garrett Temple has to be defender to stick
Garett Temple's "best chance" to make the Heat roster is "as a defender," according to beat writer Ira Winderman.
Frankly, Temple is going to have to impress on both ends of the floor in order to stay with the team. Given that his primary competition in Terrel Harris already knows Miami's system, Temple faces an uphill battle to stick around.

Thu Sep 13 201216:41Heat officially sign G Garrett Temple
Heat officially sign G Garrett Temple.
He'll have to beat out Terrel Harris in training camp to the make the team's final roster, but it doesn't really matter in fantasy. The winner will spend most of their time at the end of the Heat's bench.

Tue Sep 11 201219:10Heat agree to terms w/ Garrett Temple
The Heat and free agent guard Garrett Temple have agreed to terms on a contract.
The Heat are already over the regular-season roster limit, meaning Temple's deal will almost certainly be non-guaranteed. He played in Italy last season and is a longshot to make an NBA roster.

Tue Jul 26 201116:40Garrett Temple taking his game to Casale
Garrett Temple has signed with the Italian team Casale.
Temple got some burn with the Bobcats in the second half of the 2010-11 campaign, but he played behind both D.J. Augustin and Shaun Livingston. The contract has no NBA out-clause, meaning that Temple will remain overseas regardless of what happens with the lockout. Interestingly, it appears this move was primarily motivated by the desire for increased playing time.

Sat Apr 9 201100:08Garrett Temple scores career-high 17
Garrett Temple came off the bench to hit 4-of-9 shots and three 3-pointers for a career-high 17 points in just 19 minutes on Friday.
He added three dimes and two steals, but with D.J. Augustin healthy, we'd be surprised to see Temple worth a fantasy-add.

Mon Mar 28 201123:16Temple could benefit from PG injuries
Garrett Temple played just 10 minutes in the Bobcats' unlikely win over the Bucks on Monday, scoring three points on 1-of-3 shooting (all threes) with three rebounds and two assists, but could benefit if injuries to D.J. Augustin (ankle) and Shaun Livingston (bruised lower spine) turn out to be serious.
Owners should not drop anybody of decent value to speculate on Temple, since Augustin and Livingston will both be motivated to return to a tight playoff race, and Temple will need both of them to be out to even sniff fantasy rosters. That said, owners in daily leagues will want to be ready to make the move.

Mon Mar 28 201110:41Bobcats sign Temple for remainder of season
After his second 10-day contract expired, the Charlotte Bobcats signed Garrett Temple for the remainder of the season.
Temple barely saw the court when he was under the 10-day contracts. It's unlikely that he will see much time even with the guarantee of the rest of the season.

Sat Mar 26 201101:07Temple available, not injured on Friday
Garrett Temple (ankle) was available to play in Friday's game but was a DNP-CD.
We're moving him from the injured list to the active list, and only once the Bobcats fall out of playoff contention will he sniff the court.

Sat Mar 19 201121:05Temple a late scratch due to ankle injury
Garrett Temple was a late scratch for Saturday's game after spraining his left ankle during warmups.
X-rays taken were negative, and for the most part this will not affect fantasy leagues, but if Stephen Jackson ever gets shutdown and the Bobcats fall out of playoff contention -- Temple could get an opportunity to play. Ignore him for now, though.

Mon Mar 7 201113:28Temple signs 10-day contact with Bobcats
Garrett Temple has officially signed a 10-day contract with the Charlotte Bobcats.
Apparently the offer was originally going to go to Sherron Collins but he missed two flights and the team got impatient. Don't expect Temple to get much of a shot even with the Bobcats ailing with injuries.

Wed Mar 2 201115:29Bobcats planning to add Garrett Templme
The Bobcats are reportedly planning to sign Garrett Temple to a 10-day contract.
Temple has averaged 1.6 points combined for the Spurs and Bucks this season and is not likely to find significant playing time in Charlotte.

Tue Mar 1 201114:34Spurs could be bringing back Temple
Gregg Popovich indicated on Tuesday that the Spurs could be interested in bringing back Garrett Temple, whom they waived in November.
He played on a 10-day contract with the Bucks most recently, but don't be surprised to see him back in San Antonio with Tony Parker hurting. And don't be surprised if he offers no fantasy value if it happens.

Sat Feb 5 201112:10Bucks re-sign PG Garrett Temple
The Bucks have signed guard Garrett Temple to another 10-day contract.
Temple has been effective in limited minutes, and with Brandon Jennings not at 100% he's a cheap insurance policy for the backcourt.

Thu Jan 27 201100:24Temple scores eight in debut for Bucks
Garrett Temple, on a 10-day contract, had eight points, three rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 18 minutes on Wednesday.
He actually looked pretty good tonight, and while he won't have value in most leagues, those of you in very deep ones might want to give him a look.
Mon Jan 24 201123:01Bucks to sign PG Temple to 10-day contract
The Bucks will sign PG Garrett Temple to a 10-day contract on Tuesday according to beat writer Gery Woelful.
It's a strange signing to say the least, considering Brandon Jennings is coming back soon (depending on what type of report can found coming out of Milwaukee), and the combo of Keyon Dooling and Earl Boykins have held things down for the most part. It may be a sign of things to come, or nothing at all.

Spurs waived G Garrett Temple.
Temple had appeared in just three games this season. He's a fringe NBA player that may be headed back to the D-League.

Tue Jul 13 201000:48Garrett Temple leaves w/ ankle injury
Garrett Temple, the Spurs' starting point guard for summer league, is likely out for the remainder of the week with a sprained left ankle.
Curtis Jerrells will take over the point guard duties for the week, while Temple's injury doesn't appear to be too serious at this point.
