Mon Jul 26 201022:52Report: Flynn to be sidelined 3-4 months
Jonny Flynn's hip injury will require surgery that will keep him out for three to four months.
That means he's out for at least the start of the season, and maybe closer to Christmas depending on how his rehab goes. Luke Ridnour is officially the starting point guard for the Wolves, and he may not give up the job easily once Flynn is healthy.
Mon Jul 19 201001:02Jonny Flynn nursing hip injury
Wolves guard Jonny Flynn didn't play in summer league because of a hip injury.
We're hoping this is just a precaution, but Flynn did struggle with a hip flexor back in April. The Wolves seem keen on keeping Flynn and trading Ramon Sessions, and he should have the starting PG job locked up.
Thu Jul 8 201013:58Kahn: 'Jonny Flynn is not being traded'
Wolves correspondent Jerry Zgoda is reporting that David Kahn has no plans on trading Jonny Flynn.
"Jonny Flynn is not being traded," Kahn said. Even if Flynn was moved to Cleveland, it wasn't likely to have any impact on LeBron James' decision.

Thu Jul 8 201011:49Report: Cavs talking to Wolves about Flynn
The Cavaliers are reportedly in discussions about acquiring point guard Jonny Flynn from the Timberwolves.
While we'd love to report this without a LeBromageddon angle, we can't. Flynn is one of the only other NBA players represented by LeBron's company - LRMR - which is run by his business manager, Maverick Carter, who seems to be the guy stirring the pot in all this 'Decision' business. That said, it's hard to imagine Flynn, who may not even be an NBA point guard, to be enough to change LeBron's mind.

Mon Jun 21 201021:39Flynn, No.s 16 & 23 to Pacers for No. 10?
Adrian Wojnarowski said on Twitter that the Wolves are offering the Pacers Jonny Flynn, the No. 16, and No. 23 pick in this year's draft for a package that includes the No. 10 pick.
This seems like a real possibility for the Pacers, although you'd have to think a player like Troy Murphy would also be included in the deal. It was reported earlier in the day that the Wolves rejected Flynn for No. 10 straight up, but it sounds like the deal is not dead in the water.
Mon Jun 21 201016:47Wolves turn down Flynn for No. 10 pick
The Timberwolves have reportedly rejected an offer of the No. 10 pick from the Pacers in exchange for Jonny Flynn.
If the Pacers couldn't get Flynn with the No. 10 pick, it's hard to imagine them getting Ty Lawson or Darren Collison straight up for the pick, either. George Hill could be in play, but the Pacers will likely have to sweeten the pot. And if Flynn is on the blocks, Ramon Sessions could see a big jump in value next season.

Tue Apr 13 201013:13Ramon Sessions to start with Flynn hurting?
Jonny Flynn left Monday's loss to the Spurs with a left hip flexor injury and is status for Wednesday's season finale is in jeopardy.
Flynn, who has played in all 81 games this season, admitted that he probably won't go Wednesday. "I don't want to jeopardize my health just to play 82 games. It's been tight the whole season," Flynn said. "Tonight, I just moved the wrong way and felt a sharp pain. It's tight. It's real tight." Ramon Sessions is looking like a very nice plug-n-play for owners needing assists and points.

Mon Apr 12 201023:45Jonny Flynn shoots 1-of-7 on Monday
Jonny Flynn's string of solid games was snapped vs. San Antonio, as he managed just five points on 1-of-7 shooting, with two assists and two turnovers.
Flynn's numbers this year are promising, but he's not guaranteed anything headed into next season. He's started all 80 games for Minny, averaging 13.6 points on 42% shooting, 1.0 threes, 2.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.0 steals, and 2.9 turnovers.
Sun Apr 4 201023:28Flynn has best game of month vs. Thunder
Jonny Flynn had his best fantasy performance in over a month on Sunday against the Thunder, scoring 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds, five assists, and a steal in 34 minutes.
Like most of the Wolves, he is completely hit or miss but working in his favor is the idea that the Wolves may try to help him towards a positive ending to the season. Even if that turns out to be the case, he's still a risky play in the Wolves' upcoming three-game week.
