Wed Dec 15 201009:41Evans still favoring knee
Coach Larry Drew said that he may be forced to limit Maurice Evans' (knee) schedule.
Evans is still favoring his surgically repaired right knee, so it's possible he'll sit out on back-to-back nights. With Joe Johnson (elbow) out also, Jamal Crawford is going to get a ton of burn if his back can hold up.

Sat Dec 11 201022:41Evans still a poor play in spot start on Sat
Maurice Evans started at shooting guard on Saturday, and finished with two points on 1-of-4 shooting with three rebounds and one assist.
This is what you can expect from him on most nights, so needless to say he's not a fantasy option.
Sat Dec 11 201019:58Evans gets the start Saturday due to matchups
Maurice Evans started at shooting guard against the Pacers on Saturday due to matchups, with Jason Collins returning to the bench and all other starters moving one spot over.
Evans has a gimpy knee and hasn't done much of anything in his time on the court this year.
Mon Dec 6 201022:56Evans plays 10 minutes in backup action
Maurice Evans went back to the bench for Monday's game, playing just 10 minutes without scoring with just one rebound to his credit.
He's going to be limited with a gimpy knee, anyway, but tonight's result confirms that he should not be owned in fantasy leagues.
Mon Dec 6 201019:16Mo Evans to come off bench for Hawks on Mon
Maurice Evans will come off the bench on Monday, as the Hawks decided to use Jason Collins in the starting lineup against Dwight Howard and the Magic.
Collins has no fantasy value, and with this news what little value Evans had gets washed away. Marvin Williams will stay in the starting lineup, and is worth watching to see if he can hold onto some fantasy value with Joe Johnson (elbow) out.

Sat Dec 4 201023:12Mo Evans not a fantasy option as starter
Maurice Evans got another start at shooting guard on Saturday, but finished with just four points on 1-of-6 shooting with one rebound, one assist, and one steal in 26 minutes.
He should not be considered outside of the deepest leagues until he puts up some numbers. His knee, which should keep him from playing heavy minutes, is also a concern.
Sat Dec 4 201019:12Evans starting again on Saturday
Maurice Evans will start on Saturday against the Heat, as expected.
This is more due diligence than anything, as we don't foresee any changes to the starting lineup for some time. Marvin Williams is the player to watch tonight, as he is averaging 17 points and six boards in his last four games and will be a hot pickup if he keeps it up, if he's not already gone.

Fri Nov 19 201015:14Maurice Evans (knee) sits out practice again
Hawks swingman Maurice Evans (knee) sat out practice on Friday but expects to play vs. the Mavericks on Saturday.
We won't list him as injured since it appears he'll take precautionary rest on a regular basis. He's not a fantasy asset at this point, and likely won't be unless a Hawks' starter gets injured.

Tue Nov 16 201019:01Mo Evans (knee) misses practice Monday
Mo Evans (knee) missed practice on Monday but is still expected to be a part of the Hawks' rotation from here on out.
He said there may be times that he has to back off a bit, making him practically impossible to own in even the deepest of leagues.

Sat Nov 13 201002:19Maurice Evans returned to action on Friday November 12
Maurice Evans returned to action on Friday November 12.
Fri Nov 12 201011:41Mo Evans to play limited minutes in return
Hawks swingman Maurice Evans (knee) will play limited minutes in Friday's game vs. the surging Jazz.
Evans hasn't played but a few minutes in the season opener, and he's on a time-limit. There's little reason to like Evans' fantasy outlook this season, barring a substantial injury to Joe Johnson or Marvin Williams.

Thu Nov 11 201010:30Evans could be back Friday
Mo Evans (knee) could make his return to the lineup Friday against the Jazz.
Evans hasn't played since the season opener, but is expected to be cleared for full contact in Thursday's practice. He'll help the Hawks while Marvin Williams (knee) is out, but can't be trusted in fantasy.

Mon Nov 8 201023:10Mo Evans (knee) has no timetable for return
Coach Larry Drew said that he does not know when Maurice Evans (knee) is going to return to action.
With Marvin Williams (knee) possibly missing two weeks, the Hawks are without a SF. They've been starting Jason Collins at center and putting both Josh Smith and Joe Johnson at SF as a result.

Sat Nov 6 201017:13Maurice Evans ruled out for next two games
Hawks swingman Maurice Evans has been ruled out for the Hawks' next two games, against Phoenix and Orlando.
Evans is recovering from surgery and had to have his knee drained recently, so naturally the Hawks are taking a cautious approach to his return.

Sat Oct 30 201019:57Evans (knee) MRI negative, to return soon
Maurice Evans' MRI on his surgically-repaired right knee came back negative, and he is set to return in about a week.
"It feels a lot better," said Evans. "I had a lot of fluid in there. It's from the irritation and grinding and stuff after the surgery." He isn't likely to have much, if any, fantasy value when he returns.

Fri Oct 29 201018:22Mo Evans scheduled for MRI on knee
Hawks swingman Mo Evans is scheduled for an MRI after recently having his surgically-repaired right knee drained.
This isn't a promising development, but ideally the MRI will reveal no damage and he'll be back once the swelling dissipates. In the meantime, coach Larry Drew will just have to be a bit more creative with his bench rotations.

Thu Oct 28 201017:31Mo Evans out several days w/ knee injury
Mo Evans has returned to Atlanta to have his right knee drained and will be sidelined for several days.
This shouldn't have much of a fantasy impact, although it should mean more run for rookie Jordan Crawford. If you end up with Crawford at some point this season, beware that there's extra work involved with owning him, as you have to click on one of two J. Crawford's names in Atlanta box scores to figure out if you're looking at Jamal or Jordan's stat line.

Sun Oct 17 201003:54Mo Evans (knee) returns to action Saturday
Maurice Evans, who underwent minor arthroscopic surgery in August, returned to action in Saturday's preseason game against the Hornets, and finished with three points and one rebound in seven minutes.
He will be worth more to the Hawks than he will to fantasy owners, and barring injury he won't have fantasy value this season.
Thu Oct 14 201021:20Mo Evans (knee) returns to practice
Maurice Evans (knee) returned to practice on Thursday.
So did Marvin Williams, who was dealing with an illness. Evans' return probably helps the Hawks, who have seen their roster decimated with nagging injuries this presason, more than it will help fantasy owners. Both are expected to play Saturday.

Sun Oct 10 201017:47Mo Evans taking it easy on damaged knee
Mo Evans recently had his surgically-repaired knee drained, so he has eased his workload while he continues to build strength.
"I see Kobe is out there limping around and not really having his full range of motion," said Evans. "I think he came back a little too early. I don't want to be put in that situation." We're confident Kobe knows what he's doing, but regardless it sounds like it could be weeks before Evans is game-ready.
