Thu Nov 11 2010 | 09:22 | Nocioni limited to 20 minutes a game |
Coach Doug Collins said that Andres Nocioni will be limited to about 20 minutes per game this season. |
Nocioni, 30, isn't the most durable guy in the world. Collins said that the minutes cap will "keep him fresh throughout the year." This news combined with the fact he could be pushed out of the starting five soon makes Nocioni a really low-end fantasy play. |

Tue Nov 9 2010 | 13:17 | Nocioni will start again Wednesday |
Coach Doug Collins confirmed that Andres Nocioni will start at small forward once again Wednesday. |
Nocioni is going to be the starter for the foreseeable future. He's giving the Sixers good range with his jumper and a rugged defensive presence as well. Jason Kapono is way off Collins' radar now. In five starts this season, Nocioni is averaging 7.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 3-pointers per game. |

Sun Nov 7 2010 | 15:13 | Nocioni returns to action |
Andres Nocioni returned to action from a sprained left ankle on Sunday, scoring 11 points with two rebounds. He started the game and played 19 minutes. |
Nocioni, roster-worthy in most formats, is safe to plug back into lineups. |
Sat Nov 6 2010 | 14:29 | MRI clears Nocioni (ankle) to play Sunday |
After having an MRI on Saturday, 76ers forward Andres Nocioni (ankle) has been cleared to play in Sunday's game vs. New York. |
This is great news for Philly, who will be without Andre Iguodala and couldn't afford to lose another healthy body. Nocioni has assumed starting SF duties and is worth a look in most fantasy formats. |

Andres Nocioni started again at small forward Friday and filled the stat sheet with 15 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals, a block and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes. |
He suffered a sprained left ankle and should be considered day-to-day, although it doesn't appear to be serious. Thaddeus Young is now coming off the bench and had five points in just 14 minutes. |

Sun Oct 31 2010 | 00:22 | Nocioni draws the start against the Pacers |
Andres Nocioni started at SF for the Sixers on Saturday, and scored six points on 2-of-6 shooting (including two threes) with seven rebounds, one assist, and one block in 31 minutes. |
Frankly we're a bit surprised they didn't turn to him before they went to Jason Kapono, who was a healthy DNP-CD tonight, but until the Sixers' offense gets on track he's not likely to be a viable fantasy option. At 30 minutes a game, though, he's worth watching if it keeps up. |
Fri Oct 29 2010 | 22:33 | Nocioni scores 15, could be new starter |
Andres Nocioni came off the bench for 15 points, five rebounds and two 3-pointers in Friday's loss to the Hawks. |
He started over Jason Kapono in the second half and could be the new starting small forward in Philly. If it happens, he'll be worth a look. |
Thu Oct 14 2010 | 09:33 | Nocioni set for standard bench role |
Coach Doug Collins envisions Andres Nocioni playing 20 minutes a night off the bench. |
The Sixers were ripped for not playing very hard and letting down on defense last season. Nocioni can cure both those faults in a hurry, which is why Collins is high on him. The Argentinian is an excellent 3-point shooter, but 20 minutes likely won't be enough for him to do much else. He'll need an injury to be relevant in fantasy. |

Andres Nocioni returned Saturday from a severely sprained left ankle, playing 19 minutes and finishing with five points on 1-for-8 shooting. |
Nocioni sustained the injury in late July and missed playing for home country Argentina in the World Championships as a result. Barring a setback, he'll be ready to go for the regular season opener. |
Sat Oct 9 2010 | 10:12 | Andres Nocioni (ankle) ready for opener |
Andres Nocioni (ankle) is expected to play in the 76ers final three preseason games, and sounds ready for opening night. |
"When the doctors say I can play, I'm going to play," said Nocioni. "I have no pain at all. I feel a little bit tired, a little bit out of shape, but I'm ready to roll." As usual, Nocioni will have limited fantasy value as a designated energy player off the bench. |

Tue Sep 28 2010 | 16:15 | Nocioni still working back after ankle injury |
Andres Nocioni isn't yet 100% after a left ankle injury, but coach Doug Collins hopes he'll be ready for the "last three or four" preseason games. |
Nocioni is a fierce competitor and solid veteran, but fantasy owners shouldn't expect regular value. "I hope he becomes a 20-minute a night guy for us," Collins said. "He can space the floor and shoot the three and he's going to be able to play multiple positions for us." |

Thu Aug 26 2010 | 10:40 | Nocioni advised to sit out FIBA Worlds |
The Philadelphia Sixers have advised forward Andres Nocioni to withdraw from Argentina's World Championship team due to his left ankle injury. |
Apparently Nocioni hasn't healed as quickly as the Sixers would have hoped from his left ankle sprain. There still doesn't seem to be any concern about him missing the start of the season just yet. |

Thu Jun 10 2010 | 19:08 | Nocioni wants out of SAC, would take buyout |
Andres Nocioni said in a recent interview that he still wants to leave Sacramento and would accept a buyout if the Kings are unable to trade him. |
Nocioni is due $13.5 million over the next two seasons, far above his market value and mediocre skill-set. The Kings will do their best to trade him, but if they're unsuccessful they expect him to show up to training camp ready to play. |

Sat Apr 17 2010 | 09:59 | Kings will try to accommodate Nocioni |
Kings president Geoff Petrie said the team will try to accommodate Andres Nocioni's desire to play elsewhere next season. |
"He's a guy that's turned 30 ... He's looking at how many productive years he has left," said Petrie. The ultra-competitive veteran has seem his minutes pinched by young SFs Donte' Greene and Omri Casspi. |

Wed Apr 7 2010 | 00:51 | Nocioni scoreless in start for Kings |
Kings forward Andres Nocioni was scoreless with three rebounds on Tuesday -- he started at SF but played just 18 minutes. |
Nocioni's best attribute is that he tries really, really hard. Things don't always go his way, however, and tonight the Kings got more out of Donte' Greene (12 points in 25 minutes) and even Sean May (10 points in 14 minutes). |
