Celtics guard Von Wafer (strained right calf) worked out at full speed on Thursday, but his status for Friday's game has not been determined.
Wafer has missed 10 straight games and will undoubtedly be worked back slowly, as the presence of a healthy Delonte West seriously dents his role.

Von Wafer left the arena in a walking boot after exiting Friday's game due to an calf injury.
He played five minutes before exiting in the second quarter, and though the robust corps of backups the Celtics once had has been reduced significantly, it really won't impact the state of affairs in Boston, let alone fantasy leagues. We're calling him day-to-day for now.

Sun Feb 13 201116:34Von Wafer a key scoring option off bench
Von Wafer was a key spark for the Celtics on Sunday scoring ten points on 4-of-5 shooting including two 3-pointers, two rebounds and two steals.
This marks the fourth consecutive game with increased minutes and scoring. With the Celts a bit short-handed someone's going to need to step up off the bench and that person might be Wafer. Don't go running for him just yet but keep a close eye on the situation.

Von Wafer scored 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting with six rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 15 minutes off the bench on Monday.
He simply got hot off the bench tonight and Doc chose to ride the hot hand. He has no chance for fantasy value among a crowded and talented Celtics bench.
