Sat Mar 31 201204:22Morrow plays 11 minutes against old squad
Anthony Morrow (shoulder) returned to action against his former Warriors squad on Friday, playing 11 minutes with just one point to his credit.
Morrow missed all six of his field goal attempts, and it's unclear if the injury or his confidence are the issue right now. There's going to be opportunity for guys across the board in New Jersey because their season has long been lost, but Morrow's name is on the bottom of that list right now.

Fri Mar 30 201222:23Morrow (shoulder) to play on Friday vs. GSW
Anthony Morrow (shoulder) will play on Friday against the Warriors, as expected.
Morrow will come off the bench and it's possible he'll get some decent run against his old squad, particularly because the Nets will need to match the Warriors' small lineup. Keep an eye on him, as the Nets are going to be banged up and playing in some free-flowing games down the stretch.

Thu Mar 29 201209:45Anthony Morrow probable to play Friday
Anthony Morrow (shoulder), who has missed his last two games, is probable to play on Friday.
Morrow should be back in the lineup after a brief absence, but he has done nothing to inspire any confidence in using him in standard-sized leagues. His playing time has declined in March and he simply doesn't do enough across the stat sheet during his limited minutes.

Updating an earlier item, Anthony Morrow (shoulder) will not play in Wednesday's game.
Morrow was called probable earlier on Wednesday, but will now miss his second straight game. His absence should mean more opportunities for Gerald Green, who's averaging 11.3 points, 1.0 steals, 0.8 blocks and 1.1 treys in 15 games this month.

Wed Mar 28 201210:33Anthony Morrow probable to play Wednesday
Anthony Morrow (shoulder) is probable to play on Wednesday.
Morrow's shoulder sidelined him in New Jersey's last game but he's feeling better and should be available for this one. He's waiver wire fodder in standard-sized leagues with his reduced playing time and may be a little rusty after experiencing issues with his shoulder.

Morrow belonged on waiver wires in standard-sized leagues before his injury, and he definitely deserves to be there now. He's averaging just 11.6 points and 23 minutes per game in March, a sharp decline from the 30 minutes per game he was averaging in both January and February.

Sat Mar 24 201222:10Morrow, Green both struggle while Nets roll
Anthony Morrow scored just six points on 1-of-6 shooting in Saturday's easy win, and Gerald Green was also quiet with six points.
Morrow played 20 minutes and Green played 17, and there simply won't be enough playing time for both of them while MarShon Brooks and Gerald Wallace are locked into the starting wing positions. Green had made at least one 3-pointer in six straight games, but was 0-of-2 from downtown tonight.

Sat Mar 24 201201:56Morrow hits 5-of-16 shots on Friday vs. ATL
Anthony Morrow hit 5-of-16 shots against the Hawks on Friday in Atlanta, scoring 11 points with three rebounds, two steals, and a 3-pointer in 25 minutes off the bench.
Maybe Morrow got some extra looks playing in nearby his old Georgia Tech stomping grounds, but he needs to both continue to get these looks and he also needs to convert at a better rate. He's only worth owning as a 3-point specialist for these desperate in that category at this time.

Sat Mar 17 201222:39Morrow, Green both shoot well off Nets' bench
Anthony Morrow scored 20 points with four 3-pointers off the bench on Sunday, and Gerald Green added 16 points and two 3s, but it wasn't enough to defeat the visiting Hornets.
Jordan Farmar's groin injury is keeping the window propped open for a while, so feel free to run them out there, but fantasy owners have probably seen the best of Morrow and Green this season. MarShon Brooks is locked in at SG, Gerald Wallace just took over at SF, and there aren't enough bench minutes to expect reliable production from New Jersey's reserves.

Mon Mar 12 201223:28Morrow scores 17 points with one three
Anthony Morrow scored 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting (including one three) with just one assist to the rest of his stat line on Monday.
Morrow is hitting just under a three per game at a 25 percent clip in his last five contests, and that's not cutting it for owners. Chances are he'll get things straightened out, and owners will want to hop on board when that happens.

Fri Mar 9 201221:34Anthony Morrow explodes in the fourth quarter
Anthony Morrow was held scoreless through the first three quarters on Friday night, but exploded for 17 points in the fourth quarter as the Nets slipped by the Bobcats.
Morrow was quiet early, but was called upon to play heavy minutes in the second half after Deron Williams (calf) exited the game. He connected on all four of his free throw attempts, and also knocked down a three-pointer. Already a three-point specialist, Morrow's value would increase significantly if Williams were to miss an extended period of time.

Anthony Morrow hit 3-of-7 shots (including two threes) for 11 points with one rebound, one assist, one steal, and one block in 21 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Morrow has been inconsistent but he has been hitting threes lately with five in two games, and that's probably good enough to justify holding him for that purpose.

Anthony Morrow hit just 5-of-15 shots, but three of them were 3-pointers and he had 15 points and a steal off the bench on Tuesday.

Tue Feb 28 201211:52Timberwolves inquire on Anthony Morrow
The Timberwolves have "inquired" on the availability of Anthony Morrow.
Minnesota was rebuffed when the Nets said that they planned on keeping him in the fold, but it's obvious that the Timberwolves are in the market for a shooting guard. That shouldn't be a surprise considering it's been the popular sentiment since before the season began, and it's clear the team is searching for ways to upgrade the offensive production it has received from the position.

Wed Feb 22 201223:55Anthony Morrow struggles again
Anthony Morrow struggled again on Wednesday night, finishing with just four points (on 2-of-7 shooting) and two rebounds.
Morrow will be participating in the Three-Point Shootout as part of the All-Star Game festivities on Saturday night, and hopefully he can regain his shooting touch during the competition. Don't give up on him yet, as he's bound to heat up eventually.

Mon Feb 20 201222:52Morrow scores just nine points vs. Knicks
Anthony Morrow hit just 2-of-8 shots (including a three) for nine points with two rebounds, one assist, three steals, and one block in 29 minutes off the bench on Monday.
Morrow also had four teeth knocked out by Melo, and we'll consider him active for Wednesday's game unless we learn otherwise. He has posted late mid-round value in 8- and 9-cat leagues, respectively, and during his recent slump he has provided late-round value. Figuring out when he's going to get hot is not recommended, as owners would be wiser to set him in their lineup and expect results over the long-term, instead of riding the roller coaster.
