Haywood has been very inconsistent lately so owners should make him do this again before considering an add.

They would do so under the amnesty clause, thus clearing Haywood's salary from their cap and wiping it away for luxury tax purposes. Still, Mark Cuban paying a healthy center $45 million to walk away doesn't sound very likely.

Haywood was listed as a game-time decision, but apparently he felt good enough to give it a go. Our guess is that he wasn't letting much impede him from participating in this one at such a critical juncture in the campaign.
