Cutler completed 13 of 17 passes for 98 yards, adding one carry for 16 yards, in Saturday's preseason game against the Bengals.

Cutler played into the third quarter and continued his turnover-free preseason, but he only produced three points on six drives. To be fair, the Bears were without Alshon Jeffery (calf), Eddie Royal (hip) and Marquess Wilson (hamstring), all of whom may be back for Week 1 against the Packers.

Cutler completed 8-of-9 passes for 69 yards and scrambled once for 13 yards in Saturday's preseason win over the Colts.

Considering that he was working with a patchwork receiving corps with Alshon Jeffery (calf) and Kevin White (shin) sitting out with injuries, Cutler was quite productive, leading the Bears to three drives that culminated in field goals. Under the stewardship of new offensive coordinator Adam Gase, Cutler has been far less turnover prone in training camp than in previous years, and if that carries over to the regular season, the enigmatic quarterback may finally unlock his full potential.

Cutler completed 4-of-7 passes for 42 yards in Thursday's preseason opener against the Dolphins, leading the starting offense to three points on two drives.

Cutler and Jimmy Clausen both turned in pretty nondescript outings, with the latter completing 17-of-27 passes for 157 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions. While Cutler is seemingly a lock to open the season as the starter, he'll likely have a shorter leash than he did in past seasons, even though Clausen's track record is far from impressive.

New Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase has been expressed enthusiasm after the Bears recent rookie minicamp about working with Cutler this season, ESPN Chicago's Jeff Dickerson reports. "I feel comfortable with [Cutler]. I mean, we have a good relationship so far and we're just going to keep working to get better," Gase said.

Gase is Cutler's fifth offensive coordinator in seven years, but the preexisting familiarity between the two could lead to a fruitful partnership. Cutler's stint with the Broncos partially overlapped with Gase's time as the team's receivers coach, and though the quarterback left Denver on poor terms, it doesn't appear he had any discontent with Gase. Since Cutler's departure from Denver, Gase's reputation as an offensive savant only grew, as he oversaw record-setting production by Peyton Manning the last few seasons. While Cutler won't be held to the same high standard as Manning, his strong arm and mobility provides Gase with a nice canvas with which to work. And for all the drama that surrounded Cutler during the Bears' 5-11 season, he still established career-best marks in touchdown passes (28) and completion percentage (66.0%).

Cutler is expected to be the Bears' quarterback in 2015, ESPN reports.

There have been no shortage of rumors linking Cutler to other teams, with Chicago's recent agreement to trade Brandon Marshall to the Jets only leading to more speculation. Of course, the Bears probably wouldn't get a great package in return for Cutler at this point, and they don't have an obvious path to finding a new signal-caller. Assuming he's back in Chicago, Cutler should have a solid supporting cast in the form of Matt Forte, Alshon Jeffery and Martellus Bennett, even with long-time friend Marshall headed out of town.

Coach John Fox fell short of issuing Cutler a vote of confidence at this stage of the offseason, ESPN.com reports.

With that in mind, Fox suggested that the Bears are "not up against a deadline" in terms of making a call on Cutler's future with the team, though it's worth noting that Cutler's 2015 base salary ($15.5 million) is guaranteed, while $10 million of the QB's 2016 salary is guaranteed if he's still on the Bears' roster on March 12.

Cutler completed 23-of-36 passes for 172 yards, and he rushed three times for 39 yards during Sunday's loss to the Vikings.

Cutler took a giant step back this season, with a majority of the issues centered around turnovers, as he threw 18 interceptions and lost six of 12 fumbles. Making matters worse for the Bears is that they may be stuck with Cutler, as his $15.5 million 2015 salary is guaranteed, and if he is on the roster on the third day of the new league year, he'll get another $10 million guaranteed for 2016. The Bears will surely try to shop him, but with such a hefty cap hit for a quarterback with serious turnover issues, it might be hard to find an appropriate trade partner.

With Jimmy Clausen dealing with a concussion, the Bears plan to start Cutler at QB on Sunday against the Vikings, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

The report adds that David Fales is slated to serve as the Bears' backup signal-caller on Sunday, with Cutler -- who ended up losing his starting job for just one game -- thus an option for those looking for a dart to throw at the QB position in Week 17.

Cutler will be benched in favor of Jimmy Clausen for the Bears' Week 16 matchup against the Lions, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Cutler cashed in another dreadful performance Monday night against the Saints, and this will apparently represent the final straw for head coach Marc Trestman. The franchise will now have some serious decisions to make regarding the future of the quarterback that signed a seven-year, $126 million contract just under a year ago. The Bears will now turn to Jimmy Clausen, who has attempted just nine NFL passes since the 2010 season.

Cutler completed 17-of-31 passes for 194 yards, with two touchdowns and three interceptions, in Monday's 31-15 loss to the Saints.

Cutler was somehow worse than the statistics indicate, as both touchdowns came in the fourth quarter, after the Saints held a 24-0 lead. He was sacked seven times, and while he didn't get any help from his offensive line, his decision-making and accuracy were both terrible. With Brandon Marshall (ribs/lung) done for the season, and the Chicago offense surrounded by controversy, it's hard to feel good about Cutler's chances in a difficult Week 16 matchup against the Lions. He did have 280 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-17 Thanksgiving loss in Detroit, but the Bears were completely dominated after jumping out to a 14-3 lead.

Cutler completed 32-of-46 passes for 346 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception, in Thursday's 41-28 loss to the Cowboys. He added two carries for nine yards and a touchdown.

Cutler picked up a good chunk of his stats in the fourth quarter, which began with the Bears trailing 35-7. With the help of an onsides kick recovery, Cutler and Co. actually made a game of it, cutting the lead to 10 points with approximately six minutes remaining. The furious rally ended just inside of the two-minute warning, when Cutler threw an ugly interception in the end zone to seal the game for Dallas. Chicago's offense gets an excellent matchup in Week 15 against the Saints, but Cutler may be without Brandon Marshall, who was forced out of Thursday's game with a rib injury.

Cutler completed 31 of 48 passes for 280 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions during Thursday's defeat at the hands of the Lions.

Cutler began the contest firing on all cylinders, following a game plan set one week prior by the Patriots to offset Detroit's pass rush. The Bears' opening drive featured an array of short passes, during which his sixth pass culminated in an Alshon Jeffery score. After a Matthew Stafford fumble set the Bears up on the Lions' five-yard line later in the first quarter, Cutler required just two plays to end the possession in the same fashion. However, the offense found little sustained success thereafter, and Cutler's final line was eventually besmirched by an interception on an untimed down to complete the game.

Cutler completed 17 of 27 passes for 130 yards and one touchdown Sunday against the Buccaneers.

Cutler connected with six different receivers, though none of them finished with more than Martellus Bennett's 37 yards, while Alshon Jeffery caught the lone touchdown. The positive is that Cutler did not turn the ball over for just the second time since Week 2, though he failed to reach 200 yards for the third time this season. Prospects don't look particularly good for Week 13, as the Bears will face off against a Lions defense allowing the fifth-fewest passing yards per game this season.

Cutler completed 31 of 43 passes for 330 yards, with three touchdowns and two interceptions Sunday against the Vikings, while also adding 21 rushing yards on five carries.

Cutler passed for more than 300 yards for the first time since Week 6, but he continues to turn the ball over at a fairly alarming rate. While his eight touchdowns in the last four games are a solid total, Cutler has also lost the ball nine times over that span (six interceptions, three fumbles). Up next is a decent Week 12 matchup against the Buccaneers, who are allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game this season, while giving up the more passing touchdowns than all but two teams this season.

Cutler completed 22-of-37 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown, but threw two interceptions and lost a fumble in the Bears' 55-14 loss to the Packers on Sunday night.

Cutler's final numbers don't accurately depict how truly listless his performance was, though in fairness, hardly any of his mates bothered to show up for a game in which they had two weeks to prepare. With the blowout loss, Cutler's career record against the Packers dropped to 1-11, with the quarterback throwing 15 touchdowns against 23 interceptions in those contests. Cutler was able to salvage something for fantasy owners by finding Brandon Marshall for a 45-yard touchdown in garbage time, but given his proclivity for turning the ball, he hardly represents a stable fantasy option on a weekly basis. Though it's reasonable to expect Cutler to fare better in the Week 11 matchup with the Vikings, those hoping for the Bears offense to reemerge as the powerhouse it was last season may have to recalibrate their expectations.

Cutler completed 20-of-30 passes for 227 yards, with three touchdowns, one interception and one lost fumble Sunday against the Patriots.

Cutler's final line doesn't look that bad, but the Bears were absolutely dominated Sunday, with his 20-yard touchdown pass to Martellus Bennett with less than a minute left in the third quarter bringing the Bears to within 30 points of the Patriots, who eventually won 51-28. Cutler connected with five different receivers, with Brandon Marshall leading the way in targets (10), though he caught only three passes for 35 yards. Martellus Bennett, Alshon Jeffery and Matt Forte each caught a touchdown pass, but it was Cutler's costly mistakes that doomed the Bears once again. He is not in any jeopardy of losing his job, and he has plenty of weapons to have a breakout performance at any time, but Cutler is going to have to cut down on the turnovers if the Bears want to be competitive in the NFC.

Cutler completed 21 of 34 passes for 190 yards with one touchdown and one interception Sunday against the Dolphins.

After throwing for multiple touchdowns in five straight games to start the season, Cutler has thrown only a single score in back-to-back weeks. Sunday's limited output was somewhat understandable given that the Dolphins are fourth in fewest-passing yards allowed per game this season, though things won't get any easier in Week 8, as the Bears will face off against a Patriots defense ranked second in the category.

Cutler completed 26-of-38 pass attempts for 381 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's win at Atlanta.

Despite not throwing multiple touchdowns, Cutler had a great game, using his three best weapons in Matt Forte, Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey, as the trio totaled 21 receptions for 326 yards. Cutler probably should have had a couple of scores, but he slightly underthrew Jeffrey on a 74-yard play in which the huge wideout stumbled a bit before getting tackled inside the 10-yard line. Also, Jeffrey appeared to catch a touchdown in the fourth quarter, but it was called back due to illegal touching. The veteran QB should be able to move the ball next week, facing Miami at home.

Cutler completed 28-of-36 passes for 289 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions Sunday against the Panthers. He also rushed three times for 22 yards and a touchdown, but lost a fumble.

Cutler connected with six receivers Sunday, including 12 passes to running back Matt Forte for 105 yards and a score. Cutler has now thrown for two touchdowns in every game this season other than Week 2 against the 49ers when he had four. While his four touchdowns in the last two games are solid, he has also turned the ball over five times, plus two other fumbles that the Bears recovered. Up next is a Falcons defense that allows the third-most passing yards per game this season.

Cutler completed 22-of-34 passes for 256 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions Sunday against the Packers. He also added 29 rushing yards on three carries.

Cutler fumbled twice in the game, but recovered both, one of which he turned into a 15-yard run. He connected with six different receivers, throwing touchdowns to wideouts Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery, while also completing nine of 11 passes to tight end Martellus Bennett for 134 yards. Cutler has thrown for at least two touchdowns in every game this season and he'll square off against the Panthers in Week 5 after they allowed 327 yards and three touchdowns to Joe Flacco in Week 4.
