Sun Dec 18 201117:47Doug Baldwin catches one ball for 13 yards
Doug Baldwin managed one catch for 13 yards in the Seahawks' Week 15 win over the Bears.
Baldwin has been incredibly inconsistent all season, so perhaps we should've anticipated a clunker on the heels of last week's 7-93-1 line. Baldwin can be a fun player to watch, but the Seahawks have shown no intentions of featuring him in the passing game. He'll be a dice-roll WR3 in Week 16.

Tue Dec 13 201100:36Doug Baldwin rips Rams for 93 yards
Doug Baldwin caught seven passes for 93 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's Week 14 win over the Rams.
It was one of the undrafted free agent's best games of the season, with both the yards and catches being his most since Week 5. With Sidney Rice done for the year and Golden Tate still finding his role in the Seahakws offense, Baldwin appeared to be operating as Seattle's No. 1 receiver. He's stilly only averaging 3.5 catches for 55.2 yards, but should be a solid WR3 against Chicago's 28th ranked pass defense in Week 15.

Thu Dec 1 201123:35Doug Baldwin held to 21 yards in loss
Doug Baldwin was held to 21 yards on one reception against the Eagles in Week 13.
Seattle's slot receiver drew two targets on a night where Tarvaris Jackson attempted just 16 passes. Baldwin isn't going to be a recommended fantasy play next week against the Rams in another game where Seattle figures to lean on the ground attack. We'd rather roster Golden Tate in standard-scoring leagues.

Wed Nov 30 201111:32DRC out for Thursday
The Eagles have ruled out CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle) for Thursday's game against the Seahawks.
Liability Joselio Hanson will likely be forced into the slot corner role once again. If we were going to take a desperation flier on a Seahawks receiver this week, it would be Doug Baldwin.

Sun Nov 20 201114:44Baldwin, Rice both active for Week 11
Doug Baldwin (concussion) and Sidney Rice (concussion) are both active for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Not a surprise after both were listed as probable on the injury report. Rice is Rotoworld's 23rd ranked receiver for Week 11, while Baldwin is 54th. Inactive for the Seahawks are QB Josh Portis, WR Deon Butler, SS Atari Bigby, CB Ron Parker, OT James Carpenter, OT Jarriel King and DE Tony Hargrove.

Fri Nov 18 201116:48Doug Baldwin practices fully on Friday
Doug Baldwin (probable, concussion) practiced fully again on Friday.
It became clear that Baldwin was passing his concussion tests and would play against the Rams this week when he returned to a full practice on Thursday. Another full practice means he's avoided setbacks. Rotoworld ranks the rookie slot receiver as the No. 54 overall fantasy wideout play for Week 11.

Wed Nov 16 201119:31Doug Baldwin limited in Seahawks practice
Doug Baldwin (concussion) was limited in Seahawks practice Wednesday.
He's considered day to day for Week 11, and coach Pete Carroll believes the rookie slot receiver has a "good chance" to be active at St. Louis. Baldwin just hasn't been consistently productive enough for confident fantasy use.

Sun Nov 13 201118:21Doug Baldwin leaves with head injury
Doug Baldwin left Sunday's game with a head injury near the end of the second half.
"Head" injury is often an NFL-team code word for a concussion. The rookie slot receiver had one catch for 50 yards before exiting the field.

Sun Nov 6 201118:19Doug Baldwin held to 31 yards in loss
Doug Baldwin caught just three passes for 31 yards against the Cowboys in Week 9.
Baldwin drew six targets compared to three for Big Mike Williams and just two for Ben Obomanu. The promising slot receiver is on pace for 56 receptions and 868 yards heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Ravens.

Sun Oct 30 201119:46Doug Baldwin racks up five catches
Doug Baldwin caught five passes for 73 yards in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.
With Mike Williams inactive, Baldwin served as the clear No. 3 receiver. He's earned the job by making tough catches, and today was no exception as he went over the middle fearlessly. Baldwin ended up second on the team with eight catches and continues to show burst after the catch. Still, remember that Baldwin was shut out in last week's loss to the Browns. He'll be a high-risk play as the No. 3 receiver in an offense that has an erratic passing game.

Sun Oct 23 201117:48Doug Baldwin gets no catches in loss
Doug Baldwin did not catch a pass on three targets in Sunday's loss to the Browns.
The highlight of Baldwin's game was a questionable offensive pass interference call that killed a potential game-winning drive. Otherwise, he was a non-factor as Charlie Whitehurst was unable to gain any command of the offense. Baldwin and the Seahawks' offense won't find the sledding any easier against the Bengals next week.

Tue Oct 11 201118:58Whitehurst high on rookie WR Baldwin
According to QB Charlie Whitehurst, rookie Doug Baldwin's hot start has hardly been a surprise at Seahawks headquarters.
"The first few days of training camp we kinda had a smirk on our faces," said Whitehurst. "How in the world did we get this guy?" Baldwin racked up the majority of his 136 Week 5 yards in the fourth quarter with Whitehurst under center. He could be a sneaky WR3 play against the Browns after the bye week with Joe Haden likely to be concentrating on Sidney Rice.

Mon Oct 10 201110:51Baldwin proving to be deep threat
Five of Doug Baldwin's eight catches went for at least 20 yards in Sunday's went over the Giants.
Baldwin is now averaging 16.5 yards per catch, while his 136 yards Sunday were the most for any Seahawks receiver this season. Of his three 80-yard games, two have come since Sidney Rice's return. Although it's possible he's already peaked, Baldwin is certainly worth a flier if you have a need at receiver.

Sun Oct 9 201116:47Baldwin, Whitehurst stun Giants with late TD
Doug Baldwin caught eight passes for 136 yards with a touchdown in Sunday's 36-25 win over the Giants.
With the Seahawks trailing 25-22 late in the fourth quarter, Osi Umeniyora jumped offsides. The Giants' secondary stopped playing, but Baldwin and Charlie Whitehurst didn't. It led to the game-winning 27-yard touchdown catch for Baldwin, the Seahawks emerging slot receiver that dominated the second half. The undrafted rookie out of Stanford now has 80-plus yards in three of the Seahawks' five games and has recorded 13 catches in the last two games combined. Baldwin is worth an add in deeper PPR formats, but note that the Seahawks are heading into their bye.

Sun Sep 11 201120:06Doug Baldwin leads Seahawks in targets Sunday
Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin caught four passes for 83 yards and a touchdown in a Week 1 loss to San Francisco.
It looked like Baldwin was rotating third-receiver snaps with Golden Tate (who caught a touchdown pass), but the undrafted rookie from Stanford led the Seahawks with six targets. His 55-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter briefly gave Seattle life, previous to a pair of return touchdowns by Ted Ginn that sealed it. Baldwin could be a nice little slot receiver for the Seahawks, but he's not worth picking up in fantasy leagues.

Sun Aug 28 201117:45Undrafted WR Baldwin pushing for roster spot
The Seattle Times believes "it would be very hard" to leave undrafted rookie WR Doug Baldwin off the 53-man roster.
Stanford's leading receiver with a 56/824/9 line last season, Baldwin leads the team with eight receptions in three exhibition games. At 5'10/189, he's drawn comparisons to Bobby Engram for his "craftiness and ability to get open in the middle of the field." Baldwin will be no higher than fifth on the depth chart if he does make the team.
