Wed Nov 5 201419:58Doug Baldwin: (Groin) Misses Wednesday's Practice
Baldwin (groin) didn't take part in practice Wednesday.
Coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Baldwin's status is questionable in advance of Sunday's game against the Giants, but the wide receiver intends to take the field, according to John Boyle of the Everett Herald. In essence, his groin injury stands in the way of active status, so continue to watch his practice participation as the week draws to a close.

Coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Baldwin's availability for Sunday's game versus the Giants remains up in the air, but the wideout intends to play, John Boyle of Everett Herald reports.
Baldwin sustained a groin injury this past Sunday, when he reeled in five passes (on six targets) for 38 yards. While his activity level in Wednesday's practice is unclear, owners should monitor his status throughout the week in order to forecast his Week 10 availability.

Coach Pete Carroll downplayed Baldwin's (groin) injury Monday, Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reports.
Baldwin sustained a minor groin injury against the Raiders on Sunday, but Carroll told reporters it was not serious and he expects Baldwin to be fine going forward. The receiver finished Sunday's win with five catches for 38 yards.

Baldwin suffered a groin injury Sunday against the Raiders, the News Tribune reports.
We'll track Baldwin's status this week, but initially, coach Pete Carroll didn't appear too concerned about the wideout's injury. Baldwin finished up Sunday's game with five catches (on six targets) for 38 yards.

Baldwin grabbed 5-of-6 targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Raiders.
Baldwin was quiet, although he easily led all Seattle wideouts in targets, receptions and yardage. He's likely to remain one of Russell Wilson's top targets, but that sometimes doesn't mean a whole lot, given the nature of the team's conservative offense.

Baldwin had six catches on eight targets for 61 yards Sunday against the Panthers.
Baldwin led the team in targets, receptions and receiving yards, as he saw another big workload with Percy Harvin no longer around. The increased usage surely increases his fantasy value, especially in PPR leagues, though he is still fairly touchdown dependent to provide a lot of production.

Baldwin had seven catches on 11 targets for 123 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Rams.
Baldwin assumed the top spot on the depth chart after Percy Harvin was traded to the Jets this week, and he responded in a huge way, posting his first 100-yard game since Week 5 of the 2011 season. Baldwin and Harvin reportedly had a bit of a history with each other, so Harvin's removal from the roster may benefit Baldwin in more ways than his targets. Up next is a trip to Charlotte to face a Panthers defense that allowed 121 yards and a touchdown to Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb on Sunday, while also giving up touchdowns to wideouts Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams.

Baldwin caught 4-of-5 targets for 50 yards in Monday's 27-17 win over the Redskins.
Baldwin has either three or four catches and either five or six targets in each of his team's first four games. His role is shaping up almost exactly as expected, with the Seattle offense largely leaning on Marshawn Lynch and Percy Harvin.

Baldwin had three catches (six targets) for 35 yards in Sunday's loss at San Diego.
Despite a mediocre stat line, Baldwin actually was second on Seattle in receiving. Russell Wilson did take attempt a couple of longer throws to Baldwin, but the pair could not connect. Even though Baldwin is technically a starter on the team, it's going to be difficult to predict which weeks he steps up.

Baldwin caught three passes for 14 yards on five targets in Thursday's season-opening 36-16 win over the Packers.
A quiet first game for Baldwin, who is locked into a starting role. While a solid player who figures to log well over 50 percent of his team's offensive snaps, Baldwin doesn't make many big plays, and his targets will likely be inconsistent from week-to-week.

Baldwin caught one pass for two yards on two targets in Friday's preseason game against the Chargers.
Though his stat line was nothing to get excited about, Baldwin drew a long pass-interference penalty, and then later had a 13-yard touchdown reception overturned on replay. He and Percy Harvin are quite clearly the top two options in the Seattle passing game, but the team's emphasis on running may still serve to limit Baldwin's targets.

Thu May 29 201411:06Seahawks give Baldwin 3-year, $13M deal
Seahawks signed restricted free agent WR Doug Baldwin to a three-year, $13 million contract.
Baldwin gets $9 million over the first two years. Not a bad haul for the former undrafted free agent out of Stanford. Baldwin (5-foot-10, 189) plays bigger than his size would indicate and has become a favorite target of Russell Wilson's. He has reliable hands and is coming of a 50-778-5 line in 2013. Entering his age-26 season, there isn't much room for statistical growth for Baldwin in one of the league's run-heaviest offenses. With Percy Harvin also returning to health, Baldwin is more WR4 than WR3. He should play every down, though. At OTAs, Baldwin is practicing at Z receiver with Harvin in the slot.

Sat May 24 201411:45Baldwin has no plans to hold out
In a radio interview Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin said he will not hold out for a long-term contract.
Baldwin has yet to sign the one-year $2.187 million tender the Seahawks offered him, but there is zero chance he is not playing for Seattle Week 1. The two sides are currently in negotiations, and a long-term deal will likely get done before the season begins. Even if it doesn't, Baldwin looks ready to play out the season on his one-year tender.

Thu May 22 201411:57Doug Baldwin in talks with SEA on extension
Doug Baldwin said he is currently in contract extension talks with the Seahawks.
Baldwin is a restricted free agent that hasn't yet signed his one-year, $2.187 million tender. He said the Seahawks made a long-term offer, and he has countered. Either way, he's going to be in Seattle this season, playing the role of underrated complement to Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice.

Thu May 8 201415:20Baldwin thinks he could sign multi-year deal
Doug Baldwin believes he could sign a long-term contract this offseason.
A restricted free agent, Baldwin has yet to sign his one-year, $2.187 million tender, but can no longer talk with other teams. That means Seattle is his only option for 2014. "I will say things are going in the right direction," Baldwin said. "(We) are in preliminary talks. But hopefully we will figure something out soon." Baldwin is currently penciled in as a starter opposite Percy Harvin.

Fri May 2 201421:18RFA Doug Baldwin staying in Seattle
The NFL's deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets passed on Friday.
Doug Baldwin is the most notable restricted free agent that remains unsigned, although he was never a threat to leave Seattle. The Seahawks assigned him a second-round tender in March, worth $2.187 million. He'll sign it eventually.

Tue Apr 22 201421:18Doug Baldwin has yet to sign RFA tender
Doug Baldwin has yet to sign the second-round tender the Seahawks offered him in March.
Because he is only a restricted free agent, Baldwin does have the opportunity to negotiate and sign a deal with another team, but that does not appear to be his intention. Baldwin worked out with a group of Seahawk players last week and signed a waiver to participate in voluntary workouts this week. He also said he is interested in working out a long-term deal with Seattle. Baldwin will be a Seahawk in 2014 and has some upside as their No. 2 receiver.

Fri Mar 7 201418:03Seahawks tender Baldwin at second-round level
Seahawks tendered restricted free agent Doug Baldwin at the second-round level.
The tender is worth $2.187 million. Another team could try signing away Baldwin at the cost of a second-round pick, though that's unlikely to happen. Baldwin posted a career best 778 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 2013 and could return as Seattle's No. 2 receiver if they fail to re-sign Golden Tate.
