Sun Feb 2 201422:38Baldwin goes for 5-66-1 in Super Bowl
Doug Baldwin racked up a team-high five catches for 66 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's Super Bowl 48 win.
He was just too quick and too fast for Champ Bailey. Baldwin beat Bailey for a big first down midway through the first quarter, gaining six on a slot route. Plays later, he whipped Bailey down the right sideline for a gain of 37. Baldwin's fourth-quarter touchdown came on a slot route into zone coverage, scoring from ten yards out to make the score 43-8. Baldwin developed into a near-every-down wideout in Seattle's run-first offense in 2013, and should continue to flirt with fantasy WR3 value next season. His outlook would be improved if free agent Golden Tate left.

Doug Baldwin is dealing with a hip pointer and is expected to be limited some in practice this week.
It's not a serious issue. Baldwin classified it as a bruise following the Seahawks' win over the 49ers. He has two weeks to get ready for the Super Bowl. Baldwin has turned into Russell Wilson's safety blanket this season and will play a prominent offensive role even if/when Percy Harvin returns to the lineup.

Sun Jan 19 201423:03Baldwin leads advancing 'Hawks in receiving
Doug Baldwin caught six passes for 106 yards in Seattle's NFC Championship Game victory over the 49ers.
Baldwin was the Seahawks' leading receiver as Percy Harvin (concussion) sat and Golden Tate mustered only four grabs. The 100-yard game was Baldwin's first of the season. The highlight was a 51-yard grab in the second quarter, where Baldwin split double coverage from a scrambling Russell Wilson. Baldwin tweaked his hip on the play, but stayed in the game. An inconsistent option in Seattle's run-heavy offense, Baldwin could catch anywhere from zero to six passes in Super Bowl XLVIII.

Mon Dec 16 201312:20Doug Baldwin leads Seahawks WRs in snaps
Doug Baldwin led Seahawks wide receivers by playing on 57-of-69 snaps in Sunday's win at the Giants.
Golden Tate was second with 50 snaps and Jermaine Kearse was at 49. Over the last six games, Baldwin has emerged as Russell Wilson's No. 1 receiver while averaging 4.3 catches for 66.3 yards with four touchdowns. Since he operates mostly out of the slot, he'll likely avoid the coverage of Patrick Peterson in Week 16 and make for a low-end WR3 play.

Wed Dec 11 201319:21Doug Baldwin (neck) misses practice
Doug Baldwin (neck) did not practice Wednesday.
We didn't notice Baldwin suffer any sort of injury last week against the 49ers, and he played his normal amount of snaps. Baldwin has a date with the Giants this week and has some WR3 upside. He'll be updated again Thursday.

Sun Dec 8 201320:27Doug Baldwin has three-catch day in loss
Doug Baldwin caught three passes for 36 yards in Seattle's Week 14 loss to the 49ers.
Baldwin drew only four targets in a game where the Seahawks dialed up only 25 pass attempts. A slot receiver without a terribly high weekly ceiling, Baldwin can't be trusted as more than a WR4 for the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs.

Tue Dec 3 201300:40Baldwin posts 4-77-1 line in Monday night win
Doug Baldwin caught four passes for 77 yards and one touchdown in Monday night's Week 13 win over the Saints.
Baldwin was targeted five times on the night with Percy Harvin (hip) back out of commission. His big gain went for 52 yards on a third-and-three in the first half. Russell Wilson delivered a perfect ball on a blitz-beater, and Baldwin reeled it in behind Malcolm Jenkins. Baldwin later scored an easy four-yard touchdown, as he was standing wide open in the end zone to put Seattle up 27-7 in the second quarter. After 12 games, Baldwin is on pace to catch 53 passes for 884 yards and five touchdowns. All would be career-highs for the third-year receiver. He has some WR3 appeal if Harvin gets shut down for the rest of the regular season.

Doug Baldwin caught two balls for 63 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' Week 11 win over Minnesota.
Baldwin turned in big plays on each of his receptions, making a fantastic grab for a gain of 44 yards and scoring from 19 yards out at the tail end of the second quarter. Following Seattle's Week 12 bye, Baldwin will be a low-end WR3 in fantasy leagues. He's going to be the Seahawks' No. 3 receiver.

Sun Nov 3 201319:29Doug Baldwin goes off for 75 yards, touchdown
Doug Baldwin caught six balls for 75 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' Week 9 win over Tampa Bay.
With Darrelle Revis (mostly) on Golden Tate and Sidney Rice on injured reserve, Baldwin was the most-open receiver Russell Wilson had. And Wilson throws to the open man. Baldwin had a few early-game drops, but came through with fantastic clutch catches for first downs and scored from ten yards out in the fourth quarter. Assuming Percy Harvin (hip) isn't back in Week 10, Baldwin will be a strong fantasy start as a WR3 in Week 10 at Atlanta. The Falcons get shredded weekly by slot receivers.

Tue Oct 29 201301:10Baldwin reels in lone target in Week 8 win
Doug Baldwin caught one pass for 12 yards in Week 8 against the Rams.
It was Baldwin's lone target. He's now been held to one catch in four-of-eight games and is obviously not on the fantasy radar. Once Percy Harvin (hip) returns, Baldwin will be even further away from fantasy relevance.

Fri Oct 18 201300:36Doug Baldwin held to one catch in Arizona
Doug Baldwin caught one pass for 16 yards in Seattle's Week 7 win over the Cardinals.
The one-catch effort was Baldwin's third in seven games. Baldwin is a nifty little slot receiver, but doesn't draw consistent enough looks in Seattle's spread-the-wealth passing attack to merit WR3 appeal in fantasy leagues. Percy Harvin's return will only make things worse.
