Sun Oct 6 201317:03Doug Baldwin goes for 80 yards in Week 5 loss
Doug Baldwin caught five balls for a team-high 80 yards in the Seahawks' Week 5 loss to Indianapolis.
Baldwin has big-play ability in the slot, although the Seahawks' run-dominated offense limits his playing time and kills his consistency. He's a better real-life than fantasy football player. Consider Baldwin a low-end WR3 option at best when Seattle takes on Tennessee in Week 6.

Sun Sep 29 201317:53Baldwin reels in three passes in Week 4 win
Doug Baldwin caught three passes for 39 yards in Seattle's Week 4 victory over the Texans.
Baldwin was targeted four times on the day. He made a crazy 24-yard catch near the sideline on a third down with the Seahawks backed up on their own two-yard line in the fourth quarter. Baldwin is looking like Russell Wilson's security blanket. He's on pace to catch 48 passes for 864 yards and four touchdowns. He's a better real-life player than fantasy option.

Mon Sep 16 201302:25Baldwin leads Seahawks in Week 2 receiving
Doug Baldwin had one catch for 51 yards in Week 2 against the 49ers.
It was his only target of the night. Baldwin failed to make an impact outside of his 51-yard reception, but still managed to lead the Seahawks in receiving. He now has eight catches for 142 yards through two games.

Fri Aug 23 201322:52Doug Baldwin goes for 36 yards Friday night
Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin caught two passes for 36 yards in Friday night's third preseason game.
With Sidney Rice (knee) resting again, Baldwin saw extensive reps with Russell Wilson and the first-team offense. He made a big catch down the seam for 27 yards in the first quarter. Baldwin is a better real-life than fantasy player because he's a rotational wideout on a run-first team. Through three preseason contests, Seattle's slot receiver has three receptions for 52 yards.

Sun Jul 28 201323:20'Several teams' inquired about Doug Baldwin
CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports "several teams" inquired about the trade availability of Doug Baldwin after the Seahawks acquired Percy Harvin.
Per La Canfora, GM John Schneider "wouldn't even entertain" the overtures because he wants "as much depth as possible." With Harvin battling a hip tear, Schneider is looking as savvy as ever. Assuming Harvin plays this year, Baldwin will be his primary backup in the slot and Seattle's No. 4 receiver. A playmaker inside, Baldwin is scheduled for restricted free agency in 2014.

Wed Jun 26 201311:37Doug Baldwin stood out in spring practice
Doug Baldwin was reportedly the "real standout" among the receivers during Seahawks' spring practices.
On a roster that includes Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice and Golden Tate, an undersized former undrafted free agent out of Stanford continues to open eyes. A slot receiver-needy team would be wise to offer a late-round pick to Seattle and see if they'll bite. Baldwin can play.

Sun Mar 17 201313:36Colts targeting wide receiver?
Owner Jim Irsay recently tweeted that the Colts are pursuing a wide receiver, and the Indianapolis Star speculates it may be Doug Baldwin.
The Indy Star is just connecting dots, but they do connect. Baldwin was pushed down Seattle's depth chart following Percy Harvin's acquisition, and Baldwin played with Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and under new OC Pep Hamilton at Stanford. We suspect Seattle could net a fifth- or sixth-round pick for Baldwin.

Sun Dec 30 201222:42Baldwin hauls in two passes in Week 17 finale
Doug Baldwin caught just two passes for 19 yards in the Seahawks' Week 17 win over the Rams.
Baldwin caught both passes thrown in his direction. Russell Wilson only threw the ball 19 times on Sunday, so there wasn't a whole lot to go around. Baldwin, in his second year out of Stanford, had a big time drop in production in his sophomore season. After posting a 51/788/4 line in 2011, he ended the 2012 regular season with 29 catches for 366 yards and three touchdowns. We'll see Baldwin working the slot next weekend in the playoffs when the No. 5 seed Seahawks travel tow Washington or Dallas.

Mon Dec 24 201200:09Doug Baldwin drops 4/53/2 line on 49ers
Doug Baldwin caught four passes for 53 yards and two touchdowns in Seattle's Week 16 win over the 49ers.
On a night where the 49ers took away the deep ball, Russell Wilson's slot man drew a team-high six targets. He found the end zone for scores of four and six yards. The yards were Baldwin's most since Week 6, while the four-catch night was only his second of the season. Baldwin remains an intriguing young prospect, but won't enter 2013 on the WR3 radar.

Sun Nov 11 201219:47Doug Baldwin goes for 42 yards on 3 catches
Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin caught three passes for 42 yards in Seattle's Week 10 win over the Jets.
As a situational slot receiver, Baldwin doesn't see enough targets for fantasy usage. But he adds dynamic ability to Seattle's offense and could be more of a factor if the Seahawks let Russell Wilson throw the ball more than 20-25 times a game. Keep Baldwin in mind as a late-season sleeper if the Seahawks do loosen up the offense a bit. He could be a solid WR4/5.

Fri Nov 2 201217:19Doug Baldwin ready to return
Doug Baldwin (ankle) is officially probable for Week 9.
Baldwin was limited in Wednesday's practice, but got in two full sessions to end the week. It's an earlier than expected return for Seattle's slot receiver, as he was originally labeled a "long shot" for Week 9. It's good news for rookie quarterback Russell Wilson, but with just 11 catches in six games, Baldwin is off the PPR-league radar.

Fri Nov 2 201216:08Carroll: Baldwin likely to play in Week 9
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed Friday that he anticipates Doug Baldwin (ankle) playing in Week 9 against the Vikings.
Baldwin isn't a standalone fantasy option, but he has some playmaking ability. His return is good news for two-quarterback leaguers starting Russell Wilson.

Thu Nov 1 201219:11Doug Baldwin updated to full practice
Doug Baldwin (ankle) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice.
Coach Pete Carroll considered Baldwin a "long shot" at the outset of Week 9, but it now appears that he's on track to play against the Vikings. He's not a fantasy option at 100 percent, much less when playing through an ankle sprain.

Wed Oct 31 201215:32Doug Baldwin 'has a shot' at playing Sunday
Doug Baldwin (ankle) is progressing quicker than anticipated, and "has a shot" at playing against the Vikings.
Coach Pete Carroll deemed Baldwin a "long shot" to suit up at Monday's presser, but said Wednesday he "looks better than we thought." Seattle's slot receiver sat out in Week 8. Playing at what would likely be less than 100 percent, Baldwin wouldn't be a fantasy consideration against Minnesota.

Mon Oct 29 201218:36Baldwin a 'long shot' to play in Week 9
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll called Doug Baldwin a "long shot" to play in Week 9 against the Vikings.
Baldwin was injured in Week 7 against the 49ers and is dealing with a high-ankle sprain. Seattle is severely banged up in the receiver department. Ben Obomanu is seeing a specialist with his wrist injury, Golden Tate tweaked his ankle on Sunday, and Carroll is uncertain of Braylon Edwards' availability after his knee swelled up before the game. Jermaine Kearse is on the practice squad, so he could be getting a promotion this week.

Doug Baldwin (ankle) missed practice on Monday.

Sun Oct 14 201220:24Doug Baldwin goes for 74 yards in win
Doug Baldwin caught two passes for 74 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's Week 6 upset of the Patriots.
Baldwin caught a 50-yard play action bomb on Seattle's final drive of the first quarter before capping it off by pulling down a 24-yard ball in traffic in the end zone. He also drew a 40-yard pass-inference penalty. It's a start after Baldwin totaled just 60 yards through his first four games, but he'll be hard-pressed to get into a groove against the 49ers' elite defense in Week 7.

Fri Oct 5 201213:34Seahawks want Baldwin more involved
Coach Pete Carroll suggested the Seahawks will make a concerted effort to get slot receiver Doug Baldwin more involved in the offense this week.
The Seahawks have struggled on third downs (as well as the red zone) and see Baldwin as a potential solution. Carroll envisioned Baldwin as an "offensive focal point" entering camp, but injuries have kept him from building a rapport with Russell Wilson. Until the Seahawks move the ball consistently through the air, Baldwin has no fantasy value.
