Sat Nov 27 201008:31Toler (toe) participates in practice Friday
Cardinals RCB Greg Toler (toe) participated in Friday's practice after missing early week workouts.
Toler, who plays across from Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, has been targeted early and often throughout the season. Mike Adams stands to get the start if Toler can't play in Week 12, but 49ers WR Josh Morgan is still an unattractive option regardless of who the Cardinals trot out across from DRC.

Sun Nov 14 201021:13Torched Toler pulled from Sunday's game
Cardinals RCB Greg Toler was pulled for Michael Adams after being burned repeatedly in Sunday's game.
Matt Hasselbeck picked on him early and often, but Toler was hardly the only victim in Arizona's secondary. Hasselbeck had success deep, toasting the Cardinals defensive backs for 273 yards by the end of the first half.
Mon Sep 13 201009:00Toler racks up 13 tackles in win
Greg Toler racked up 13 tackles and a forced fumble in Sunday's win over the Rams.
Toler started at left corner and was attacked all day. Look for that to continue as opposing offenses try to avoid Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, giving Toler plenty of chances for IDP production.

Thu Aug 26 201015:07Greg Toler to start preseason's third game
Greg Toler will be the starting left cornerback in the Cardinals' third preseason game.
He's passed Trumaine McBride. McBride recently tweeted that he "graded out an A-plus" in the second exhibition contest, but we can't believe that was the case. He was victimized by Nate Washington, and is best suited as a dime back. Toler, a far more talented option, is on track to start on Opening Day.
Sat Aug 21 201008:06Toler and McBride in dead heat
According to defensive coordinator Bill Davis, Greg Toler and Trumaine McBride are "neck and neck" in the battle for starting right cornerback.
Added coach Ken Whisenhunt, "They've both played well. We feel a lot better about that position three weeks into camp than we did four months ago." We still like Toler to ultimately win out.

Wed Jul 28 201009:24Cards want Toler to win job
Greg Toler is the favorite to win the starting right corner job, confirms the Cardinals' official site.
Team beat writer Darren Urban says that Toler would have been the favorite to win the job even if Bryant McFadden was still in Arizona. But Toler was rotating with Michael Adams and Trumaine McBride in the offseason, leaving the spot open for competition. Look for Toler to lock it down in camp.

Thu Jun 3 201016:22Starting corner job still up for grabs
Cardinals coaches have made it clear that the starting job opposite Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is up for grabs.
Greg Toler is considered the favorite, but the coaching staff is big on making younger players "earn" starting jobs through competition. Toler is battling Michael Adams and former Bears corner Trumaine McBride for the position.

Tue May 18 201016:23Toler lines up with starters on Tuesday
Greg Toler lined up at right cornerback with the starters in Tuesday's practice.
Mike Adams drew the honors in the first practices two weeks ago, but it appears to have been merely a seniority issue. Toler is fully expected to enter the starting lineup opposite Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie this season.

Sat Apr 24 201013:25Greg Toler set to enter starting lineup
Greg Toler is expected to enter the starting lineup opposite Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie following the Cardinals' trade of Bryant McFadden to the Steelers.
A small-school fourth-rounder who drew comparisons to DRC last year, Toler was expected to push McFadden for the starting job regardless. He played surprisingly well while filling for Rodgers-Cromartie during the playoffs in January. Though growing pains are to be expected, Toler will add speed and athleticism to the Cardinals defense.
