Beasley is listed at 5-foot-8 and 177 pounds, so the slot seems like the only place on the field he would be an option. Signed as a rookie free agent out of SMU, Beasley played on just 128 snaps for the Cowboys in 2012, reeling in 15 passes for 128 yards. With Kevin Ogletree almost certain to leave via free agency and Miles Austin as a potential release candidate, there could be more opportunities for young receivers like Beasley and Dwayne Harris.

Beasley ordinarily shares No. 4 receiver duties with Dwayne Harris, behind Dez Bryant, Miles Austin, and Kevin Ogletree. The Cowboys might need to lean on Beasley even more moving forward if Austin's hip injury proves serious.
