It looks like Buchanan may have secured a rotation spot for the 2015 season with the way he has pitched this year, even though he didn't have his best stuff in Friday's quality start. Buchanan does leave something to be desired with a less-than-stellar 2.22 K/BB rate.

Buchanan will take a 4.95 ERA, a 1.21 WHIP, and a 25/6 K/BB ratio into next week's home start against the Marlins.
