Sat Feb 12 202215:01Zach LaVine Tagged As Questionable For Saturday
Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine (knee) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. LaVine did play on Friday, but didn't exactly play up to his standard. His knee is likely still bothering him, so possibly the Bulls decide to rest LaVine in the second game of the back-to-back set. DeMar DeRozan would be asked to take on a heavier load, assuming LaVine sits. Ayo Dosunmu and Coby White could play extra minutes with Javonte Green (foot) questionable as well. Fantasy managers will have to check back closer to game time for more information.

Mon Feb 7 202218:27Zach LaVine Returns To Action Monday
Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine (back) has been cleared to take the floor for Monday's contest against the Suns, returning from a two-game absence due to a back ailment. LaVine, who will not face a minutes restriction, will likely bump Troy Brown Jr. from the starting five, thereby zapping him of his DFS intrigue. In the midst of his second consecutive All-Star campaign, LaVine has averaged 24.7 PPG, all while shooting 48.6 percent from the floor overall. Phoenix's defense boasts the second-best defensive efficiency in the league, which muddles LaVine's DFS appeal.

Sun Feb 6 202214:17Zach LaVine Out Versus Philly
Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine (back) won't play during Sunday's matchup against the 76ers. LaVine will now miss his second consecutive contest because of back spasms. With Lonzo Ball (knee), Alex Caruso (wrist), and Derrick Jones Jr. already out as well as Coby White (hip) labeled a game-time decision, the Bulls will undoubtedly be short-handed. Nonetheless, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic are anticipated to carry the load offensively. However, there is room for guys like Ayo Dosunmu, Troy Brown Jr., and ... [More]

Sat Feb 5 202218:21Zach LaVine, Coby White Questionable To Play Sunday
Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine (back) and point guard Coby White (groin) have been deemed questionable for Sunday's contest against Philadelphia. The duo were unavailable Friday, which allowed Troy Brown Jr. and Matt Thomas to see significant minute increases -- roles that would likely remain in place Sunday if LaVine and White are held back. LaVine ranks 12th in the league in scoring (24.7 points per game), with his absence paving the way for Nikola Vucevic and DeMar DeRozan to see elevated offensive upside. White has ceded starting point guard duties to Ayo Dosunmu, but he has emerged as a consistent scoring threat off the bench with 13.2 points per game over his last six outings.

Fri Feb 4 202218:03Zach LaVine Won't Be Available On Friday
Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers. He played in six straight games, so it's not surprising that the Bulls are giving their banged up star a rest day. DeMar DeRozan should see increased usage without LaVine on the court. Also, Ayo Dosunmu and Javonte Green are expected to see increased roles on Friday. Coby White (groin) remains questionable, but his absence would only increase the usage of Dosunmu and Green. Both players are looking like decent streaming options and possible DFS choices for Friday's slate.

Fri Feb 4 202215:05Zach LaVine, Coby White Questionable To Play Friday
Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine (back) and point guard Coby White (groin) have been tagged as questionable to suit up for Friday's game vs. the Pacers. With Chicago on the second leg of a back-to-back and with another set for Sunday and Monday, it wouldn't be a surprise to see either player held out. LaVine, named to his second consecutive All-Star game, has enjoyed a strong first half, averaging 24.7 points per game on 48.6% shooting, the second-highest mark of his career. White has stepped into a larger role with Alex Caruso (wrist) down, but Ayo Dosunmu has stepped up to become the biggest beneficiary of the backcourt void. Fantasy managers will want to check back before tip-off as Dosunmu, DeMar DeRozanand Nikola Vucevic would all have elevated offensive upside if LaVine and/or White are held out.

Thu Feb 3 202218:15Zach LaVine Cleared On Thursday
Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine (back) has been cleared to play on Thursday against the Toronto Raptors. He was downgraded earlier in the day due to back spasms, but will make his return to the court here. He should resume his normal role in the starting five and there is no word on LaVine being limited. It's the front end of a back-to-back set, so possibly LaVine gets rested on Friday. Regardless, fantasy managers should make sure LaVine is back in their lineups for Thursday's slate.

Thu Feb 3 202215:31Zach LaVine Downgraded To Questionable Against Raptors
Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine (back) has been downgraded from probable to questionable for Thursday's game against the Raptors. LaVine has been dealing with back spasms, but he managed to score 26 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the field in the Bulls most recent victory against the Magic two nights ago. If LaVine is unable to play in Thursday's game, Eastern Conference All-Star starter DeMar DeRozan will once again carry the scoring load as he has averaged 26.5 points per game in his first season with the Bulls.

Wed Feb 2 202215:03Zach LaVine Listed As Probable For Thursday
Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine (back) is probable for Thursday's game against the Raptors. The all-star guard is dealing with a right mid-back strain, but he should be able to suit up for Thursday's road game in Toronto. LaVine has scored 20-plus points in each of his five games since returning from a knee injury, and the 26-year-old is a must-start guard across all fantasy formats as one of the top scorers in the league.

Mon Jan 24 202218:55Zach LaVine Returns Monday, Will Be On Minutes Cap
Chicago Bulls shooting guard/small forward Zach LaVine (knee) has been given the green light to suit up for Monday's game against Oklahoma City, giving him an early return from a knee ailment that was set to keep him sidelined for at least one more contest. In all, LaVine will have missed five outings, which leads to him facing a capped minutes total against the Thunder. In six January outings prior to getting injured, LaVine knocked down an average of three triples per game, tossing in 23.5 points for good measure. When on the floor, LaVine figures to be the team's offensive focal point with DeMar DeRozan (rest) ruled out and Nikola Vucevic (knee) a game-time decision.

Wed Jan 19 202218:41Zach LaVine, Lonzo Ball Will Miss Next Four Games
Chicago Bulls shooting guard/small forward Zach LaVine (knee) and point guard Lonzo Ball (knee) have been ruled out for the team's upcoming four-contest stretch due to respective knee ailments. Both will stay back in Chicago to continue receiving treatment as the team embarks on its upcoming road trip. Without either in the mix, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic stand to remain the Bulls' offensive focal points, while Coby White and Troy Brown Jr. continue to stand out as short-term upside plays. The sharpshooting duo both rank within the top 15 in the league in three-point buckets made on a nightly basis (Ball, 3.1; LaVine, 2.9). Their next opportunity to return comes Jan. 26, although a green light is far from guaranteed.

Sun Jan 16 202216:53Zach LaVine Avoids Serious Injury
Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine (knee) underwent an MRI on Saturday morning. Fortunately, the results were encouraging, showing no signs of structural damage. The veteran injured his left knee during the first quarter of Friday's blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors and will be re-evaluated in about a week. While LaVine isn't expected to miss any significant time, it's a tough blow considering Chicago has also been without Alex Caruso (foot), Derrick Jones Jr. (knee), and Javonte Green (groin). Lonzo Ball (knee) also won't play against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, so Coby White, Troy Brown Jr., and Ayo Dosunmu may see an increase in production. However, ... [More]

Mon Dec 27 202111:35Zach LaVine Has No Trouble Regaining Rhythm
Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine made his first appearance since Dec. 11 on Sunday against Indiana and brought a flamethrower with him, going for a game-high 32 points on 5-for-9 shooting from deep. He finished with 12-for-18 overall shooting from the field and racked up four rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block with four turnovers. LaVine, who has been red-hot this month, will get to see the Pacers again on Friday before 2021 is done, and there are also a couple of meeting with Atlanta scheduled for this week. The Hawks are without a number of regulars and their defense has lacked quality all season, so this should be a great matchup for LaVine.

Thu Dec 23 202114:00Zach LaVine Back At Practice
Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine has been cleared from the league's health and safety protocols. This is great news considering how hard hit the Bulls have been with protocols lately. LaVine was able to practice on Thursday and is hopeful to play in Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers. His return should hinder the value of Coby White, but there should still be plenty of minutes for him. Fantasy managers should check back again later this week for another update on LaVine.

Sun Dec 12 202117:39Zach LaVine, Troy Brown Jr. Join Health Protocols

DeMar DeRozan, Coby White, Javonte Green, Matt Thomas, Derrick Jones Jr., Ayo Dosunmu and Stanley Johnson are also among them. The Bulls take the court next on Tuesday against Detroit, and whilst the team's situation is worrying, the game is expected to go ahead. In addition to being on pace for a new career high with 5.1 boards per outing, LaVine is just shy of averaging three made triples on a nightly basis. Thu Nov 18 202109:09Zach LaVine Hits Seven Triples, Has 30 Points Versus Portland
Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine led all scorers with 30 points on 11-for-20 shooting in Wednesday's 112-107 loss to Portland. He did most of his damage from downtown, going 7-for-12 from three-point land. LaVine finished off his line with six rebounds, two assists, one block and four turnovers in 37 minutes. With Portland having one of the worst defenses in the league, this was always going to be a very good matchup for LaVine. The next one against Denver is going to be much more difficult. The Nuggets sit fourth in defensive efficiency and are the only team in the league not to allow 100-plus points per game.
