Fri Oct 28 201113:23Browns rule out Massaquoi for Week 8
The Browns have ruled out Mohamed Massaquoi (concussion) for Week 8.
Josh Cribbs will apparently start at flanker against the 49ers, with Brian Robiskie and perhaps Jordan Norwood also in the mix for snaps. Look for Greg Little, Evan Moore, and Ben Watson to be the Browns' most heavily targeted pass catchers. That assumes Watson will play through his own recent concussion.

Carlton Mitchell will be active this week, perhaps the surest sign that Massaquoi will miss at least one game. With Greg Little ascending to the No. 1 role, Massaquoi isn't worthy of a roster spot even in deep fantasy leagues.

Browns coach Pat Shurmur has deemed Mohamed Massaquoi and Ben Watson as "day-to-day" after both suffered concussions in Sunday's win over Seattle.
That could indicate the Browns expect both to pass their baseline tests early this week and to be active for Week 8 against the 49ers. Either way, neither is a recommended fantasy option in Cleveland's pop-gun passing attack against the 49ers' second-ranked scoring defense.
