According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Chargers K Nate Kaeding ended up undergoing groin surgery earlier this offseason.

It's a good thing Kaeding had the surgery early in the offseason because Nick Folk struggled after undergoing a similar procedure last May. Kaeding is on schedule in his recovery and is fully expected to be healthy by training camp. We'll keep an eye on his progress in August.
