Jennings finished with just one carry for three yards after aggravating his ankle injury in the first quarter of Sunday's win over the Redskins.
Jennings was questionable to return after suffering the injury and he never got back on the field, leaving Andre Williams to lead the backfield with 18 carries for 44 yards. Given that the Giants have already been eliminated from playoff contention, it wouldn't be surprising if they sat Jennings for at least Week 16 against the Rams, which would leave Williams to start again.

Jennings left Sunday's game against Washington with an ankle injury and is questionable to return, the New York Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano reports.
Jennings lasted just one carry before leaving the game. It was not immediately clear whether this is a new injury or an aggravation of the existing ankle problem that has been bothering him recently. Andre Williams is in at running back for the Giants.

Although head coach Tom Couglin said earlier in the week that he expects Jennings' workload to increase this week, ESPN's Dan Graziano reports that the sense around the Giants is that Jennings' ankle may need another week of reduced carries before it is back to full strength.
Graziano allows that Jennings will likely receive more work than the three touches he received in Week 14, but it sounds like it won't be the full starting workload he gets when fully healthy. Andre Williams figures to factor heavily into the Giants' offensive plans again, making Jennings a risky play in many formats as long as his ankle is still bothering him.

Jennings (ankle), who wasn't on the injury report Wednesday, looked far better in practice than he did last week, the Newark Star-Ledger reports. "I think so," coach Tom Coughlin said when asked if Jennings' workload should increase. "Yeah, sure."
Barring a setback, expect Jennings to start this week and see the majority of the work, though Andre Williams might see a bigger role than in weeks past when Jennings was healthy after his strong performance against the Titans.
Wed Dec 10 201411:00Rashad Jennings: Not Listed On Injury Report
Jennings was not listed on Wednesday's pre-practice injury report, Dan Graziano of ESPN.com reports.
Jennings was limited to three touches in last week's game due to lingering soreness in his ankle, but his omission from this week's injury report indicates he is feeling much better. Andre Williams ran well as the feature back in Week 14, so it seems likely the two will share the carries in some fashion this week.

Jennings (ankle) had two carries for five rushing yards and one catch on one target for 17 receiving yards during Sunday's 36-7 win over the Titans.
Jennings came into Sunday as a game-time decision, and while he was cleared to play, there was an expectation that he would mostly just work on passing downs, with rookie Andre Williams getting a bigger share of the carries. That turned out to be the case, as Williams rushed 24 times for 131 yards and a touchdown, while also catching three passes on five targets for 16 receiving yards. The Giants dominated the game, and with Williams playing well, there was little reason to overuse Jennings on his balky ankle. Another week of rehab and recovery should benefit him heading into Week 15, though a matchup against a Redskins defense allowing the ninth-fewest rushing yards per game doesn't scream out as a great fantasy matchup for Jennings, especially with Williams likely to get a fair number of touches himself.
Sun Dec 7 201411:31Rashad Jennings: (Ankle) Active Sunday
Jennings (ankle) is active for Sunday's game at Tennessee, Pat Hanlon of the Giants' official site reports.
Jennings is fending off his ankle injury, but expect him to be contained to passing downs, according to Dan Graziano of ESPN New York. Meanwhile, rookie RB Andre Williams is slated to handle the majority of snaps out of the Giants' backfield.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Jennings hopes to play Sunday against the Titans, with a call on that front in line to come after the running back tests out his ankle before the game.
Jennings, who has been dealing with ankle discomfort, thus slots in as a game-time decision, though fortunately for those who roster him -- or fellow RB Andre Williams for that matter -- the Giants kick off at 1:00 ET on Sunday.
Sat Dec 6 201412:49Jennings (ankle) traveled with Giants to Nashville
Jennings (ankle) traveled with the Giants to Nashville, ESPN's Dan Graziano reports.
Jennings remains questionable, but the fact that he traveled with the team means they think he has at least some chance of playing. Still, the fact that he logged just one practice this week -- a limited showing Friday -- implies that he'll be a game-time decision for the Giants' early kickoff.

Jennings (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans.
The outlook for Jennings all week has been largely negative, but he was able to practice Friday, leaving open the possibility that he will suit up against Tennessee. The Giants kick off at 1:00 ET on Sunday, so we'll get confirmation about his status before the first wave of games. If he can't play, Andre Williams will likely start.
Fri Dec 5 201412:35Jennings (ankle) returned to practice Friday
Jennings (ankle) returned to practice Friday, the New York Daily News' Mitchell Abramson reports.
In what capacity, we are not yet sure, but it's probably safe to assume that he was at least somewhat limited Friday. However, the fact that he practiced at all is an encouraging sign for his Week 14 status. We'll provide another update after the Giants release their official injury designations.

Unless Jennings (ankle) gets on the practice field Friday and proves he's healthy enough to run and cut without restrictions, Andre Williams is likely to start Sunday and fellow rookie Orleans Darkwa could see some snaps, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Jennings hasn't been ruled out yet, but if you're thin at running back and depending on him, you might want to pick up Williams.
Thu Dec 4 201413:01Jennings (ankle) didn't practice Thursday
Jennings (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, Art Stapleton of the Bergen Record reports.
After drills Wednesday, Jennings relayed his hopes that he'll take the practice field Friday, but previous declarations from the running back haven't come to fruition. In any case, with another absence under his belt, he's trending toward inactive status in Week 14, which would leave rookie Andre Williams to handle the bulk of the running back reps. Friday's injury report could clear up Jennings' status, one way or the other, in advance of Sunday's contest at Tennessee.
Wed Dec 3 201412:49Rashad Jennings: (Ankle) No Practice Wednesday
Jennings (ankle) wasn't present at practice Wednesday, Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reports.
Jennings' absence doesn't jibe with comments following the initial injury Sunday, namely that the running back is unlikely to miss any time, but instead lines up with his inability to put weight on the ankle after sustaining the ailment. Clearly, his practice participation will be monitored closely throughout the week, but there's no telling when, or if, he'll be able to make an appearance.
Mon Dec 1 201416:21Rashad Jennings: (Ankle) Not Expected To Miss Time
Jennings' ankle injury is not believed to be serious, and he is unlikely to miss time, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
He did plenty of damage last week (91 yards rushing, two touchdowns) before an ankle injury rendered him unable to return late in the game. It sounds like he will be able to once again shoulder most of the rushing load this week against the Titans.

Jennings (ankle) had 26 carries for 91 yards and two scores Sunday. He also had three catches for three yards.
Jennings held up well, but almost all of his production was in the first half before the team collapsed in the second. He should see the bulk of the work next week against the Titans.

Jennings isn't worried about missing time due to his recent ankle injury, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.
Although Jennings was unable to put weight down on the ankle, rendering him unable to return to Sunday's contest, he appears optimistic that he'll be back for Week 14's showdown with the Titans. Fantasy owners are surely hoping this assertion is correct, as the matchup is excellent, with Tennessee having surrendered a league-worst 145.4 rushing yards/game entering Sunday's contest. His practice status this week should provide a better indication of his playing prospects, however.

Jennings (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Jennings had recored 91 yards on 26 carries with two scores prior to exiting. If he's unable to return, the Giants will have to mount their comeback effort with Andre Williams as the feature back.

Jennings had 19 carries for 52 yards and eight receptions for 68 yards in Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Cowboys.
The Giants' one rushing touchdown was scored from three yards out by Andre Williams, who carried 10 times for 35 yards, with one reception for 12 yards. Jennings' 10 targets were easily second on the team to Odell Beckham's 11, as no other player had more than four. Though he made some nice plays as a receiver, Jennings did drop a pass, and he was later tackled just shy of the first-down marker on a game-deciding 4th-and-2. He'll continue to cede some work to Williams, but as we've seen the past two weeks, Jennings is getting plenty of touches.
Wed Nov 19 201410:35Jennings not listed on Wednesday's early injury report
Jennings was not listed on Wednesday's early injury report.
Jennings' absence from the injury list confirms that he has fully recovered from the knee injury that cost him four games earlier this season. Jennings received 22 touches last week and should see another big workload in Week 12.
