Jennings felt "solid" on Monday after logging 59 of the team's 70 offensive snaps in his first game back from a sprained MCL in his left knee, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Jennings should have a heavy workload against the Cowboys this week as long as the Giants don't get too far behind. The return of guard Geoff Schwartz should help the team's run blocking against an average Dallas rush defense.

Jennings (knee) had 18 carries for 59 rushing yards and four catches on seven targets for eight receiving yards Sunday against the 49ers.
Playing in his first game since suffering a sprained MCL back in Week 5 against the Falcons, Jennings dominated the backfield touches, ceding two carries for Andre Williams and one to fullback Henry Hynoski, who combined for six rushing yards. It wasn't a great game by any means, but it clearly shows that Jennings is the workhorse back in New York, a role he'll have once again in Week 12 against a Cowboys defense ranked 13th in rushing yards allowed per game this season.
Sun Nov 16 201411:32Jennings (knee) listed as active for Sunday's game against 49ers
Jennings (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the 49ers, the Giants' official site reports.
Per the Star Ledger, Jennings has indicated that he feels capable of handling as many carries as the Giants need from him Sunday, though the report suggests that in his first game action since Oct. 5, the Giants may be inclined to have Jennings and Andre Williams share the workload to a certain extent, estimating a potential 60-40 split, tilting in Jennings' favor. That said, if Jennings gets off to a strong start and avoids any setbacks, it's not hard to imagine the balance leaning even more in his direction.

Jennings (knee) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Justin Tasch of the New York Daily News reports.
Jennings will suit up Sunday as expected, but coach Tom Coughlin indicated Thursday that he does not intend to give the running back a full workload in his first game back. However, Andre Williams did not do enough during Jennings' absence to prove that he deserves a major chunk of the work now that Jennings is back, so we expect to eventually see Jennings as the lead back with Williams in a change-of-pace role. The 49ers rank fifth against the run, but they have given up some big performances to opposing backs (including Mark Ingram last week).
Thu Nov 13 201414:56Rashad Jennings: (Knee) Limited Thursday
Jennings (knee) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports. When asked about Jennings' potential workload Sunday versus the 49ers, coach Tom Coughlin said, "I don't intend for him to carry a full load."
All signs point to Jennings taking the field in Week 11, but his rep count is the one unknown at the moment. Friday's injury report should confirm his availability for Sunday's game, during which he would face a San Francisco defense that has surrendered 4.2 YPC and three rushing touchdowns to running backs over the last four outings.
Thu Nov 13 201412:59Rashad Jennings: (Knee) Practices Thursday
Jennings (knee) participated in Thursday's practice, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.
Jennings has yet to log time in the team portion of practice, but perhaps Thursday's iteration will include such a development. In any case, his progress so far this week points to active status Sunday versus the 49ers, which could very well be confirmed by week's end.
Wed Nov 12 201411:25Rashad Jennings: (Knee) "Ready To Go" This Week
Jennings (knee) will be limited at Wednesday's practice, but head coach Tom Coughlin believes he is "ready to go" for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Ebenezer Samuel of the New York Daily News reports.
Jennings will have to make it through practice this week before officially being declared ready to play, but Coughlin is planning on having Jennings available Sunday, and fantasy owners should do the same.
Tue Nov 11 201414:03Rashad Jennings: (Knee) Hoping For Increased Participation
Jennings (knee) said Tuesday that he will take part in team drills this week, Newsday's Tom Rock reports.
Jennings was limited to scout team work last week, but he is confident that he will be able to take snaps during the first team during practice this week. Jennings' status for Week 11 will not be determined until later this week, but if he is able to get in the work he expects this week, he will have a good chance to suit up for the first time since Week 5.

ESPN's Dan Graziano suggests that at this early stage of the week, it's "looking good" with regard to Jennings' (knee) potential return to action in Week 11.
Jennings sat out Week 10's game against the Seahawks, but he was able to practice in a limited fashion last week, with increased participation in the coming days a plausible scenario as Sunday's game against the 49ers approaches.

Jennings (knee) did not make the trip to Seattle for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Tom Rock of Newsday reports.
Jennings was able to practice on a limited basis Thursday and Friday but will have to wait at least one more week before returning to action, meaning Andre Williams will be afforded another opportunity to start against Seattle.

Jennings (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Giants.com reports.
Jennings was able to do limited work in practice this week, but barring an unexpectedly rapid recovery over the next 48 hours, he appears likely to miss a fourth consecutive game. If that's the case, Andre Williams will continue to serve as the team's primary rusher.

Jennings (knee) handled reps with the scout team during Thursday's practice, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports. When asked about his availability for Sunday's game in Seattle, Jennings said, "There's always a chance."
Jennings' ongoing recovery from a sprained MCL has surpassed one month, and only recently was he able to deviate from straight-ahead running when he added some cutting to his workout regimen. Working with the scout team is another baby step in the right direction, but he would provide confidence in his ability to suit up if he at least completed individual drills. In any case, Friday's injury report will provide the final word on his status entering the weekend, with Andre Williams poised to earn most of the RB workload, if Jennings appears likely to miss a fourth consecutive game.
Wed Nov 5 201412:41Rashad Jennings: (Knee) Not Practicing Wednesday
Jennings (knee) isn't participating in Wednesday's practice, Tom Rock of Newsday reports.
On the road to recovery for a month now, Jennings has been running straight ahead and only started cutting recently, according to Art Stapleton of the Bergen Record. As a result, coach Tom Coughlin relayed that a better target date for Jennings' return is Week 11 against the 49ers, rather than Sunday's game in Seattle. No matter, Jennings' status should be watched closely as the weekend draws closer, but if he remains sidelined, rookie Andre Williams will again handle the bulk of the workload out of the Giants' backfield.
Fri Oct 31 201401:26Jennings (knee) hoping to return Nov
Jennings (knee) is hoping to return Nov. 9 in Seattle, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Jennings has to show he can plant, cut and change directions on his injured knee, something he hopes to try next week. Andre Williams should see the bulk of the work in the meantime.
Thu Oct 30 201411:23Rashad Jennings: Still Sidelined
Jennings (knee) will not play Monday against the Colts.
It was hoped that the running back would be ready to go after the Giants' Week 8 bye, but as Ralph Vacchiano of the Daily News notes, Jennings' knee is evidently not healing as fast as hoped/expected, thus stalling his return. With Jennings still sidelined, Andre Williams is in line to once again head the Giants' rushing attack in Week 9.
Thu Oct 30 201411:06Jennings (knee) will not take part in Thursday's practice
Jennings (knee) will not take part in Thursday's practice, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.
Jennings' chances of playing in Monday's game against the Colts are slim, and he will likely have to get in some practice work at least one of the next two days to have any shot to play Monday.
Tue Oct 28 201400:00Jennings (knee) long shot to be ready for Monday night's game
Jennings (knee) is a long shot to be ready for Monday night's game, the Newark Star-Ledger reports. "He's not ready to go," coach Tom Coughlin said after Jennings missed practice on Monday. "He's day to day."
Jennings ran for the first time Monday, but still hasn't done any lateral cutting. He hasn't been ruled out, but it's likely Andre Williams will get another start.

Ralph Vacchiano of the Daily News relays that while Jennings sounded optimistic about his recovery from a sprained MCL, the running back's status for next Monday's game against the Colts is "murky."
It's a notion echoed by ESPN's Dan Graziano, who suggested that he'd be surprised to see Jennings return to action in Week 9. More on Jennings' status as the week rolls along, but at this stage, the running back does not appear to be trending in the right direction with regard to a potential return next Monday.
Mon Oct 27 201413:00Per coach Tom Coughlin
Per coach Tom Coughlin, Jennings (knee) is "day-to-day," Ralph Vacchiano of the Daily News reports.
Jennings -- who last suited up in Week 5, when he suffered a knee sprain -- didn't practice Monday, but he hopes to participate at some point this week, per ESPN.com, with an eye toward possibly suiting up for next Monday's game against the Colts.
Mon Oct 27 201412:09Jennings (knee) not present at Monday's practice session
Jennings (knee) was not present at Monday's practice session, the New York Daily News reports.
Jennings suffered a sprained MCL in Week 5, which has kept him out the Giants' lineup ever since. However, coming off New York's bye week, Jennings is thought to be close to making his return. While his absence from Monday's practice is a bit curious, Jennings' status should be clarified throughout the upcoming week. Furthermore, the Giants' next game isn't until next Monday, providing even more time for Jennings to recover.
