Mon Nov 22 201002:36Boss catches just two balls in Week 11 loss
TE Kevin Boss caught two balls for 22 yards on four looks in the Giants' Week 11 loss to the Eagles.
Boss' two catches came one play apart in the third quarter, and disappointed owners who picked him up in hopes of a third consecutive week with a touchdown. In reality, the injury-prone Boss is little more than TE2 material, and shouldn't be in most fantasy lineups with bye weeks over unless your TE1 is injured.
Sun Nov 21 201018:50Giants activate Kevin Boss for Sunday night
Kevin Boss is active for Sunday Night Football against the Eagles.
The Giants deactivated WR Steve Smith, WR Darius Reynaud, FB Madison Hedgecock, LB Gerris Wilkinson, C Shaun O'Hara, T/G David Diehl, LB/DE Alex Hall, and DT Linval Joseph. Mario Manningham starts in place of Smith. Bear Pascoe will be the fullback with Hedgecock still out. The best news is that LT Shawn Andrews is active after his back flared up again this week.
Fri Nov 19 201011:57Kevin Boss practices on Friday
Kevin Boss (back) returned to practice on Friday.
Boss should be fine for this week's game after sitting out Thursday. There's some concern that he'll kept in to block against Trent Cole, however, with LT Shawn Andrews (back) still missing and the rest of the O-Line in tatters.

Thu Nov 18 201012:44Boss misses Thursday's practice
Giants TE Kevin Boss (back) sat out Thursday's practice.
Boss was able to practice Wednesday, so he could just be experiencing some soreness. He's still expected to play in Week 11, but check back Friday to make sure. Boss has scored in two straight games but is a fantasy option only in two-tight end leagues.

Sun Nov 14 201019:30Boss leaves early Sunday
Kevin Boss left Sunday's game against the Cowboys in the fourth quarter with an undisclosed injury.

Fri Nov 5 201013:00Kevin Boss focusing on blocking, not fantasy
Giants TE Kevin Boss' numbers have gone down as the team has asked him to focus on his blocking.

Tue Oct 26 201001:39Boss held to just one catch, 23 yards in win
Kevin Boss caught just one pass for 23 yards in Week 7.
The scoreless streak continues, as Boss has yet to find the end zone in 2010. He's a non-factor in fantasy.
Sun Oct 17 201019:07Kevin Boss has 27 yards in Week 6
Kevin Boss caught two passes for 27 yards in Week 6.
Boss has become such a fantasy non-factor that we considered skipping him when writing post-game blurbs. He hasn't found the end zone yet this season.
Sun Oct 10 201017:17Boss gets 40 yrds, still not a fantasy option
Kevin Boss caught four pass for 40 yards in the Week 5 win over Houston.
He was targeted six times, and should not be owned in standard-sized leagues, as he lacks big play ability.
Mon Oct 4 201000:42Boss registers just one catch
Kevin Boss caught one pass for 11 yards in the Week 4 win over the Bears.
He was targeted five times. This is more indicative of what you should be expecting from Boss than his 88-yard showing last week. He shouldn't be owned in standard-sized leagues.
Sun Sep 26 201016:44Boss goes for 88 yards
Kevin Boss caught three passes for 88 yards in Sunday's loss to the Titans.
Boss, who was coming off a concussion, split the seam for a 54-yard gain in the first half where he pulled defenders with him like Mark Bavaro. Still, no one should get too excited. Boss isn't a big playmaker and his only fantasy upside is really at the goal line.

Giants declared TE Kevin Boss, WR Ramses Barden, T William Beatty, DT Rocky Bernard, OLB Chase Blackburn, WR Duke Calhoun, LB Phillip Dillard and DT Linval Joseph inactive for Week 2 at the Colts.
The only fantasy-relevant player here is Boss, and he is week to week with a concussion. Hakeem Nicks will play despite an ankle injury.
Wed Sep 15 201011:19Boss won't play Sunday
Kevin Boss (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Boss is accumulating concussions. With each one he suffers, the recovery period is longer. Backup Travis Beckum will fill in as the pass-catcher while Bear Pascoe comes in on running downs.

Mon Sep 13 201018:15Kevin Boss racking up the concussions
Giants coach Tom Coughlin revealed Monday that the concussion suffered by TE Kevin Boss in Week 1 was his third in the NFL.
The Giants tried to cover up Boss' 2009 concussion last season, but Coughlin spilled the beans at Monday's presser. He also was concussed in 2008. Look for Boss to miss Week 2 against the Colts, and perhaps Week 3 as well.

Mon Sep 13 201011:17Boss admits he suffered concussion
Kevin Boss said he is unsure of his status for Week 2 after suffering a concussion in the first quarter on Sunday.
The Giants claim that Boss has never suffered a concussion before, but the burly tight end sure has taken some huge shots over the middle during the last couple seasons. Boss says he didn't lose consciousness Sunday, which is a good sign for his potential return. Travis Beckum will start if Boss can't go next week.
