Wed Dec 12 201217:01Ed Dickson limited on Wednesday
Ed Dickson (knee) returned to Ravens practice Wednesday, getting in a limited session.
It's Dickson's first practice of any kind since going down in Week 11. It's a sign he'll likely return against the Broncos, but he'll be well off the radar for the second week of the fantasy playoffs.

Sat Dec 8 201212:00Ed Dickson ruled out for Week 14
Ravens TE Ed Dickson (knee) has been ruled out for Week 14.
Dickson also sat out last week's loss to the Steelers. In his absence, TE Billy Bajema handled blocking duties. Dennis Pitta saw no increased work, playing 37-of-63 snaps on the day and catching just one ball for 19 yards. Despite the strong matchup against the Redskins, we recommend not getting too carried away with Pitta. He's Rotoworld's No. 14 tight end for Week 14.

Wed Dec 5 201216:54Ed Dickson yet to resume practicing
Ravens TE Ed Dickson (knee) has yet to resume practicing.
Dickson missed Sunday's loss to the Steelers, and Billy Bajema got the start in his place as the Ravens' blocking TE. Dickson's absence did little to increase Dennis Pitta's fantasy value. Pitta had just one catch for 19 yards. Fantasy owners should expect a minimal uptick for Pitta if Dickson sits out the Ravens' Week 14 road tilt against the Redskins.

Sun Dec 2 201215:11Ed Dickson leads Ravens inactives
Ravens declared TE Ed Dickson, ILB Dannell Ellerbe, CB Jimmy Smith, G/T Ramon Harewood, WR Deonte Thompson, DL Bryan Hall and CB Chris Johnson inactive for Week 13 against the Steelers.
As expected, Torrey Smith (thigh) is active. Dickson's absence means a slight uptick in snaps for TE Dennis Pitta, but it shouldn't make a noticeable difference for fantasy purposes.

Fri Nov 30 201214:16Ed Dickson listed doubtful for Week 13
Ravens TE Ed Dickson (knee) is listed as doubtful for Week 13 against the Steelers.
Dennis Pitta still isn't a great fantasy option versus the NFL's No. 1 pass defense, but Dickson's absence could get him a few more snaps and targets. Dickson has been primarily a blocker this year. He has a sprained right knee.

Sun Nov 25 201221:03Ed Dickson's injury not considered serious
The knee injury Ed Dickson sustained in Sunday's Week 12 win over the Chargers is not expected to be serious.
Coach John Harbaugh referred to the injury as a sprain. It could be some kind of MCL tweak. If Dickson misses time, Dennis Pitta will get a boost. Pitta had six catches for 42 yards and a touchdown on nine targets Sunday.

Sat Nov 24 201219:25Ed Dickson (ankle) expected to play Week 12
Ed Dickson (ankle) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Wed Nov 21 201219:01Ed Dickson limited on Wednesday
Ed Dickson (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
The limited - as opposed to DNP - designation suggests Dickson did indeed avoid a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's win. With Dennis Pitta (concussion) expected to play this weekend, however, Dickson will remain off the fantasy radar.

Mon Nov 19 201218:41Dickson suffered a minor ankle injury in win
Ed Dickson suffered a "minor ankle injury" in Sunday night's win over the Steelers.
Dickson is in no danger of missing Week 12 in San Diego, but if Dennis Pitta (concussion) is held out, Dickson would be the primary tight end. Either way, he isn't much of a fantasy option. Dickson has just 14 catches for 152 yards on the season and hasn't found the end zone.

Mon Nov 19 201200:29Ed Dickson held to two catches in win
Ed Dickson caught two passes for eight yards in Baltimore's Week 11 win over the Steelers.
Normally, a two-catch, eight-yard night wouldn't be notable for Baltimore's No. 2 tight end, but his lack of production came despite the fact that Dennis Pitta was knocked out with a concussion on the Ravens' opening drive. Even if Pitta isn't ready to roll for Week 12, Dickson will remain off the radar in fantasy leagues.

Sun Nov 11 201217:22Ed Dickson goes for 59 yards in Week 10
Ravens TE Ed Dickson caught both of his targets for 59 yards in Week 10.
Dickson did well to turn in an efficient performance, but he's not getting enough targets to be a fantasy option. Leave him on the Week 11 waiver wire.

Thu Nov 1 201218:06Ed Dickson added to injury report
Ed Dickson was added to Thursday's injury report with a hand issue, but remained a full participant in practice.
Dickson will be fine for Week 9, but with just eight catches for 74 yards this season, he remains off the radar in all formats of fantasy.

Sun Oct 14 201217:25Ed Dickson catches 1 ball in Week 6
Ed Dickson was targeted just twice in Week 6, hauling in one ball for eight yards.
Dickson showed why the Ravens no longer use him as a pass catcher other than on broken plays by dropping an easy would-be touchdown inside the red zone. Dickson has been clearly passed by Dennis Pitta and isn't even a fantasy TE2.

Mon Sep 10 201223:08Dickson catches two balls in Week 1 win
Ed Dickson caught just two passes for 22 yards on Monday night.
Dickson returned from a shoulder injury to see four targets. Dickson wasn't used very much in the first half but saw some passes his way once the Ravens got up big on the Bengals in the second half. Dennis Pitta is a better fantasy option than Dickson at this point.

Thu Sep 6 201220:30Ravens TE Dickson expected to play
Ravens TE Ed Dickson (shoulder) is not on this week's injury report.
Dickson is fully expected to play versus the Bengals after missing three weeks with a subluxed shoulder sustained in the preseason opener. He's not a strong TE2 option while splitting production with Dennis Pitta.

Wed Sep 5 201213:21Dickson, Pitta will be game-time calls
Ravens TEs Ed Dickson (shoulder) and Dennis Pitta (hand surgery) are both expected to be game-time decisions against the Bengals on Monday.
Each player has resumed practicing, and coach John Harbaugh hinted Monday they will be ready to go for Week 1. With neither player offering more than TE2 upside and the Ravens playing in the second-to-last game of the week, however, fantasy owners can do far better at tight end. Neither Dickson nor Pitta is on the redraft radar until further notice.
