The Washington Post reports the Redskins and free agent WR Andre Roberts have agreed to a deal.

A deal can't be signed until 4 PM ET, but all signs point to Roberts landing in D.C. He just turned 26 in January, is from nearby South Carolina, and played his college ball at Citadel. Roberts can play outside and in the slot. He'll slide in as the starter opposite Pierre Garcon and will likely end Santana Moss' run in Washington.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports free agent Andre Roberts is drawing interest from the Redskins and Browns.

Roberts is 26 years old and likely aiming for a starting job after being buried behind Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, and Rob Housler in Arizona last year. The Browns could smoothly plug him in opposite Josh Gordon, upgrading on Greg Little. The Skins would be an unattractive locale for Roberts' fantasy value.

"I don't think I'll be back in Arizona," Roberts said. "I haven't received any phone calls from Arizona." The writing has been on the wall for quite some time. Roberts wants the pay and playing time of a number two wideout, and Arizona is unwilling to offer either. Roberts is our No. 8 free agent wide receiver.

He finishes with just 43 catches for 471 yards and two touchdowns. Roberts is talented enough to be an effective slot man, but the Cardinals may choose to let him walk in free agency. They used Rob Housler as a third receiver this season.

Roberts was targeted five times by Carson Palmer. His big gain was a 32-yard pickup on a nice grab down the left sideline late in the fourth quarter in Jalil Brown's coverage. Roberts and his teammates celebrated the catch like a touchdown. It was the highlight of Roberts' day. He's not worth owning in re-draft leagues unless one of Larry Fitzgerald or Michael Floyd gets hurt.

Roberts was back to bit duty with Michael Floyd (shoulder) looking no worse for the wear. Roberts needs injuries ahead of him to provide any real value in fantasy leagues, and right now, both Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald are healthy.

With Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) hobbled, Roberts drew eight targets. The five catches were just one less than he had combined in Weeks 2-6. Roberts has legit slot skills, but they're going to waste in Arizona's offense, which is being torpedoed by poor quarterback and line play. Roberts is barely on the WR5 radar.

Roberts was targeted four times, finishing fifth on the squad in that category. Roberts is barely playing more than half the snaps since Rob Housler's return to the field. He's safe to drop in 10- and 12-team leagues.

Coach Bruce Arians confirmed Andre Roberts is losing snaps because of Rob Housler's presence.

When Housler returned from injury three weeks ago, Roberts was stuck playing more outside receiver. The problem is that he's not going to get reps ahead of Larry Fitzgerald or Michael Floyd. Over the last three games, Roberts is playing on just 55 percent of the snaps and has just two catches.

He was only targeted once. Roberts' playing time has all but evaporated with Rob Housler's return, as the Cardinals are focusing on Michael Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald at wideout. Roberts can be dropped in standard leagues.

Roberts saw a team-high eight targets, but was frequently well covered and failed to reel in contested catches. The Cardinals' offense was also noticeably less in sync without Larry Fitzgerald, even though some would argue that theoretically might help Roberts' fantasy cause. Well, it didn't. Keep Roberts on the WR3 radar when the Cardinals face the Saints in Week 3.
