Decker aggravated his existing hamstring injury during the second quarter of Monday's game against the Bears and his return to the field is questionable, Newsday reports.
Decker was initially listed as a game-time decision for Monday's game with his hamstring injury. Although he was ultimately able to start, his availability for the rest of the game is now in question. Before exiting, Decker had one reception for 19 yards.
Mon Sep 22 201419:12Eric Decker: Active Monday
Decker (hamstring) is active for Monday night's game against the Bears, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports.
It remains to be seen how close to 100 percent Decker will be Monday night, but he'll give it a go in Week 3 against the Bears after returning to a limited practice with the Jets on Saturday.

After testing out his hamstring on the field in advance of Monday's game against the Bears, Decker indicated, "I feel good. I'm up," ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News calls Decker (hamstring) a true game-time decision for Monday night's game against the Bears.
We'll confirm Decker's status -- one way or the other -- in advance of Monday night's 8:30 ET kickoff. The wideout's Week 3 practice activity amounted to a limited session on Saturday. Decker currently leads the Jets with 14 targets, followed by fellow wideout Jeremy Kerley, who has seen 13 through the team's first two games. If Decker is out or limited Monday, David Nelson and Greg Salas would presumably be candidates for added looks in the team's offense.
Sat Sep 20 201414:50Eric Decker: (Hamstring) Questionable Against CHI
Decker (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Saturday and is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Bears, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.
Although Decker did not practice Friday, he was seen running and cutting on the injured hamstring during the portion of practice open to the media. His ability to log a limited practice Saturday would seem to suggest his chances of playing against Chicago are at least slightly better than 50-50, especially after coach Rex Ryan said Decker didn't necessarily need to practice in order to play, but Mehta went on to say Decker will likely end up being a true game-time call.
Fri Sep 19 201417:24Decker (hamstring) missed practice again Friday
Decker (hamstring) missed practice again Friday, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports.
The report adds that Decker was spotted running and cutting during the media-access portion of Friday's practice, with coach Rex Ryan noting that the wideout doesn't necessarily have to practice in order to play in Monday night's game against the Bears. "He's a veteran," Ryan said of Decker. "You'd like your guys to practice, there's no doubt. But if a guy can't I'm not gonna say he absolutely can't play. I'm not gonna back myself into that corner." More on Decker's status after Saturday's practice, but the Jets' Monday night kickoff makes rolling with Decker this week a tricky option for fantasy owners if he continues to remain iffy in advance of that contest.
Thu Sep 18 201418:28Decker (right hamstring) did not practice Thursday
Decker (right hamstring) did not practice Thursday, the Star-Ledger reports.
More on Decker's status Friday, but at this stage uncertainly remains with regard the wideout's status for Monday's game against the Bears.
Thu Sep 18 201411:19At this stage
At this stage, Decker (hamstring) indicated that he's unsure if he will be available for Monday's game against the Bears, the Daily News reports.
For his part, coach Rex Ryan said that he is hopeful that Decker will be able to suit up Monday, but what the wideout does (or doesn't do) at practice in the coming days will be telling on that front. Meanwhile, the reports notes that Decker did not undergo an MRI on his hamstring, which the wideout says isn't torn. "I aggravated it," said Decker, who dealt with a hamstring issue in training camp. "It's not a lingering effect, but obviously I did it in training camp and it didn't fully go away."

Rex Ryan didn't have much to say Monday concerning Decker's Week 3 status, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports. "We don't know," Ryan said of Decker's chances playing next Monday at Chicago. "We'll see. Hopefully he'll be ready to roll."
Decker gets an extra day of prep time before Monday's Week 3 capper, which is a gift and a curse for fantasy owners. On the plus side, we appreciate a longer wait to get hale, but owners would need a last-second option if Decker turned into a game-day scratch.
Mon Sep 15 201410:54Decker (hamstring) re-aggravated previous right hamstring ailmen...
Decker (hamstring) re-aggravated a previous right hamstring ailment Sunday and his status for Week 3 against the Bears is uncertain, the New York Daily News reports.
Decker exited during the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Packers after a prior right hamstring issue resurfaced. The Jets' wideout did not return to the game, but still finished with a team-leading four receptions (on seven targets) for 63 yards and a touchdown. Considering Decker's same hamstring forced him to miss time during the preseason, it appears this week will be crucial in determining his availability to play the Bears, but fortunately, that game is until next Monday night, allowing Decker and extra day of treatment. Expect his status and practice involvement to be updated throughout the week.

Decker had a decent day before exiting in the third quarter, but it looks like he'll finish with a 4-63-1 receiving line on seven targets. His absence should lead to extra opportunities for Greg Salas and David Nelson.

Decker (quad) caught three passes for 34 yards and a touchdown on five targets in Friday's preseason game against the Giants.
Decker played well into the second half, catching his touchdown pass from Mike Vick. In addition to Decker proving his health, the Jets' first-team offense looked surprisingly good, with Geno Smith completing 9-of-14 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown. The Jets' quarterback play will likely determine Decker's value, as the 27-year-old wideout is a proven commodity with no questions about his role.

Decker (quadriceps) participated in team drills during Tuesday's practice, ESPN reports.
Decker's quad ailment limited him to positional drills during the Jets' last three practices. Now feeling better, New York's No. 1 wideout joined the starters for scrimmage work on Tuesday. Decker will continue to build chemistry with the Jets' quarterbacks throughout the preseason, which should result in him being the team's most sought after pass-catcher in fantasy circles this season.
Mon Aug 11 201411:10Decker (quadriceps) featured in positional drills Monday
Decker (quadriceps) featured in positional drills Monday, the New York Daily News reports.
Decker hasn't participated in team drills since Thursday's preseason debut due to a minor quad concern. However, since the ailment isn't serious, Decker is still able to go through receiver drills, keeping his rep-count somewhat steady. With the Jets' next exhibition game not until Saturday, Decker could keep things light to remain available to play in preseason action and build chemistry with his new quarterback teammates.
