Sun Oct 24 201018:10Jordan Shipley has 131 yards and touchdown
Bengals WR Jordan Shipley caught six passes for a game-high 131 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 7 loss.
Box-score observers should realize that Cincinnati's pass attempts total was significantly affected by getting behind early. Shipley was terrific, hauling in all six of his targets and flashing big-play ability while scoring his first touchdown. The Bengals don't want to be a pass-heavy team, however, so we can't expect this sort of production on a week-to-week basis. Shipley is a great slot receiver prospect. In fantasy, he's a WR5.

Fri Oct 8 201012:59Jordan Shipley concussion, out
Jordan Shipley (concussion) missed his third day of practice Friday and will not play Sunday against the Bucs.
Andre Caldwell will serve as Cincinnati's third receiver, and Jermaine Gresham could see a few more targets over the middle. The Bengals' game plan is still likely to be run heavy against Tampa Bay's 28th-ranked rush defense.

Thu Oct 7 201013:45Shipley held out again on Thursday
Jordan Shipley (concussion) was held out of Bengals practice again on Thursday.
Shipley isn't going to play this week after taking a cheap shot from Browns FS T.J. Ward, who was more interested in lighting up the receiver than making a tackle.

Wed Oct 6 201013:47Jordan Shipley misses practice
Jordan Shipley (concussion) missed Bengals practice Wednesday.
Shipley isn't expected to play against the Bucs after taking a vicious hit from Browns rookie FS T.J. Ward in Week 4 that cost Ward a $15,000 fine. The Bengals will roll with Andre Caldwell as their replacement slot receiver.

Mon Oct 4 201017:27Jordan Shipley considered doubtful
Bengals WR Jordan Shipley (concussion) is considered "doubtful" for Week 5, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Shipley had already been battling a shoulder injury, so this will be the Bengals' opportunity to get him back to 100 percent. No. 2 slot receiver Andre Caldwell could be in for increased snaps against the Bucs in Week 5.

Sun Oct 3 201015:34Shipley shaken up late in Sunday's game
Bengals WR Jordan Shipley left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with a concussion.
Browns rookie safety T.J. Ward took a gratuitous late hit to Shipley's head on a drop in the end zone. It was a brutal hit, and Ward is sure to get hit in the pocket book. Shipley is done for the day with two catches for 29 yards.
Sun Oct 3 201012:02Shipley active for Week 4 at Cleveland
Bengals WR Jordan Shipley (shoulder), LB Keith Rivers (foot), and DE Antwan Odom (wrist) are all active for Week 4 at Cleveland.
Shipley is a poor fantasy option as an erratic Carson Palmer's fourth option in the passing game. Bengals inactives: OL Anthony Collins, DE Carlos Dunlap, DT Jonathan Fanene, CB Brandon Ghee, QB Dan LeFevour, RB Cedric Peerman, WR Jerome Simpson, and OL Reggie Stephens.
Fri Oct 1 201014:58Jordan Shipley listed as questionable
Bengals WR Jordan Shipley (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Week 4.
Shipley isn't a fantasy option, but his absence could lead to more targets underneath for Jermaine Gresham. Shipley will be a game-time decision.
Thu Sep 30 201015:25Shipley limited again on Thursday
Bengals WR Jordan Shipley (shoulder) was limited again in Thursday's practice.
Shipley should be fine to face the Browns this week, but he's not even a strong WR3 option in PPR leagues. Keep him benched until Carson Palmer begins to show improvement.

Wed Sep 29 201016:19Jordan Shipley limited on Wednesday
Bengals rookie WR Jordan Shipley (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Shipley, sitting on 13 catches through three games, figures to be fine to face the Browns. The Bengals are one of the most cautious team in the league when it comes to injuries, often resting numerous players on Wednesdays.
Sun Sep 26 201018:22Shipley held to 37 yards in Week 3
Jordan Shipley was held to 37 yards on three receptions against the Panthers in Week 3.
Shipley was targeted just the three times. Clearly behind Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens, he's not worth carrying in standard-scoring leagues.
Sun Sep 19 201017:24Shipley hauls in five passes vs. Ravens
Jordan Shipley caught five passes for 42 yards against the Ravens in Week 2.
Shipley isn't going to break many big plays, but he's well worth carrying on rosters in PPR leagues. He reeled in all five of his targets against Baltimore.
Wed Sep 15 201009:52Shipley on field for 58 snaps
Jordan Shipley was on the field for 58 of the Bengals' 76 snaps in Week 1.
This number is a little bloated because the Bengals were playing catch-up and went no-huddle for much of the second half. In a normal situation, we don't expect to see as many three-wide looks. Also, 51 of Shipley's 82 yards came on a Hail Mary at the end of the first half. Re-draft owners shouldn't see him as much more than a low-upside possession receiver right now.

Sun Aug 15 201023:02Jordan Shipley has 5 catches, 50 yards
Bengals rookie Jordan Shipley led the team with five catches for 50 yards in Sunday night's preseason game.
He's a player. We were skeptical of Shipley after he dominated 18- and 19-year-old defensive backs as a 23- and 24-year-old receiver in a college spread, but he's picked up the offense quickly and is going to be a go-to guy over the middle for Carson Palmer. He's worth consideration late in PPR drafts. Shipley also handled two kickoffs and had a 21-yard punt return.
Wed Aug 11 201010:27Shipley taking reps at KR
Bengals' WR Jordan Shipley is reportedly taking reps returning kickoffs at Bengals' camp.
Coach Marvin Lewis recently said that he wanted to "find a way to get Jordan on the field," and this seems like the best way to get Shipley some run. Shipley is listed 4th on the Bengals' current depth chart behind Bernard Scott, Andre Caldwell, and Quan Crosby, but he should surpass at least Crosby by the time the next chart is released.

Thu Jul 29 201023:31Marvin: We have to get Shipley on the field
Coach Marvin Lewis has his mind set on getting rookie Jordan Shipley playing time even with three veterans ahead of him on the depth chart.
"The one thing we've got to be sure we do is find a way to get Jordan on the field, because we know he can help us," Lewis said. We have still have a hard time picturing Antonio Bryant in the slot, and his knee could make it a moot point early on. Shipley may well start the season in three-receiver sets.

Wed Jul 28 201009:31OC singles out Shipley
Bengals offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski singled out Jordan Shipley as someone he's been pleased with.
Shipley got a little punch in the stomach when Terrell Owens signed yesterday, but exact roles remain unclear. It's possible that Owens will start out wide, leaving Antonio Bryant as a situational deep threat. That would allow Shipley and Andre Caldwell to continue their battle for the slot job.

Tue Jul 27 201014:03Bengals sign rookie WR Jordan Shipley
Bengals signed third-round WR Jordan Shipley to a four-year contract, including a $757,000 signing bonus.
Shipley received the majority of the first-team snaps in three-receiver sets during offseason practices, but his role is up in the air entering training camp. A Terrell Owens signing has roadblock potential, and Shipley will have to beat out Andre Caldwell regardless. He's the Bengals' long-term answer in the slot.
