Wed Mar 12 201410:15Talks between Graham, Texans going 'slow'
Free agent Garrett Graham said talks between his camp and the Texans are going "slow."
The Texans are going to have a fight on their hands if they want to retain Graham to help fill the shoes of released veteran Owen Daniels. The Packers and Giants are two tight-end needy teams that could show interest. The other option for the Texans is to just roll with second-year man Ryan Griffin, who would bring more upside as a pass-catcher but has work to do in the blocking game.

Tue Mar 11 201409:55Garrett Graham 'could be target' for Bucs
ESPN's Pat Yasinskas is "hearing" free agent TE Garrett Graham "could be a target for the Buccaneers."
Graham lacks playmaking ability and is a poor blocker, but the Bucs are needy at tight end. They don't believe Greg Schiano holdover Tim Wright is the answer. Graham has also drawn light interest from the Packers. He turns 28 in August.

Thu Dec 26 201308:33Garrett Graham not participating in practice
Garrett Graham (hamstring) was listed as a DNP in Wednesday's practice.
Graham's hamstring pull apparently hasn't healed enough to get him back in practice yet. We'll know more on Thursday, but for now it looks like Ryan Griffin will draw his third straight start. Over the last two weeks, Griffin has totaled 11 catches for 128 yards on 11 targets.

Texans declared TE Garrett Graham, QB Case Keenum, WR DeVier Posey, S Jawanza Starling, OG Alex Kupper, OT Andrew Gardner, and OG Cody White inactive for Week 16 against the Broncos.
With Graham (hamstring) inactive and Owen Daniels (leg) never activated from short-term I.R., rookie Ryan Griffin will get the start at tight end. Keenum (finger) will be replaced by Matt Schaub at quarterback.

Fri Dec 20 201315:21Garrett Graham listed as questionable again
Garrett Graham (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Graham will be a game-time decision at best after failing to practice each day this week. He went through the same routine last week, was listed as questionable, and didn't play against the Colts. We're expecting the Texans to start rookie Ryan Griffin at tight end this week against the Broncos.

Garrett Graham (hamstring) remained out of Texans practice Thursday.
According to interim coach Wade Phillips, it's "not looking good" for Graham for Week 16. Owners can plug in Ryan Griffin, who represents very little drop-off.

Wed Dec 18 201317:53Garrett Graham (hamstring) remains sidelined
Garrett Graham (hamstring) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.
Graham missed last week's game and has been called "iffy" for Week 16 against the Broncos. Ryan Griffin is a capable fill-in and played the majority of the snaps against the Colts. He'll get the start if Graham can't go.

Mon Dec 16 201316:48Garrett Graham (hamstring) 'iffy' for Week 16
Garrett Graham (hamstring) is "iffy" for Week 16.
The Texans aren't going to rush Graham back after fill-in Ryan Griffin matched his production in Sunday's loss to the Colts. There's also a possibility that Owen Daniels (leg) will be back for Week 16. Graham isn't a must-hold in re-draft leagues for the final week of the fantasy playoffs.

Sat Dec 14 201317:19Texans not expecting TE Graham to play
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Texans expect to be without TE Garrett Graham (hamstring) for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Graham didn't practice at all this week and is officially listed as a questionable on the injury report. He's not expected to play, but will go through pre-game warmups before the Texans make a decision on his status. Ryan Griffin and Jake Byrne would handle tight end duties if Graham is ruled out.

Fri Dec 13 201313:29Garrett Graham not being ruled out
Texans interim coach Wade Phillips said Friday that Garrett Graham (hamstring, questionable) "could play" in Week 15 against the Colts despite not practicing at all this week.
He'll be a game-time decision, with the Texans basing Graham's availability on a pre-game workout. Fantasy owners can downgrade Graham slightly due to the injury, even if he's active. He's clearly not going to be 100 percent.

Fri Dec 13 201313:04Garrett Graham (hamstring) out again Friday
Garrett Graham (hamstring) remained sidelined at practice Friday.
Graham hasn't practiced at all this week and will be a game-time decision, per the Texans. It's a foggy situation. Owen Daniels (leg) has already been ruled out. If Graham can't go against the Colts, Ryan Griffin and Jake Byrne would handle tight end duties. Griffin was a draftnik-favorite in April.

Thu Dec 12 201314:20Texans TE Graham misses another practice
Garrett Graham (hamstring) remained out of Texans practice Thursday.
Graham's status is officially murky. It's possible the absences are just precautionary, but it's never a good sign when a player misses back-to-back sessions. Graham should be considered very questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts. What he's able to do on Friday will be critical to his Week 15 status.

Wed Dec 11 201318:51Garrett Graham (hamstring) misses practice
Garrett Graham (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.
Graham caught eight passes for 73 yards and one touchdown on a whopping 14 targets last week. We haven't seen much concern regarding Graham's hamstring among beat writers, but it's something to watch. He'll be a back-end TE1 this week against the Colts if healthy. Owen Daniels (leg) remains sidelined.

Fri Dec 6 201300:16Garrett Graham has 8/73/1 night vs. Jags
Garrett Graham caught eight passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in Houston's Week 14 loss to the Jaguars.
Graham had little trouble finding seams against a Jaguars defense that's struggled to cover tight ends all season. Graham drew a whopping 14 targets, and could have had 1-2 more catches had he not kept losing his footing. He also committed a drop. Graham doesn't get much separation, but has now caught at least five passes in three of his past four games. He'll remain a mid-range TE1 for the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs.

Sun Dec 1 201317:42Garrett Graham held to three catches in loss
Garrett Graham caught three passes for 36 yards in Houston's Week 13 loss to the Patriots.
Graham caught an eight-yard pass on Houston's fourth play from scrimmage, but went on to corral just two of his next 10 targets in another inefficient and disappointing performance. Graham simply isn't up to the task of being a No. 1 pass catching tight end, and will be a mid-range TE2 for the fantasy playoffs.

Sun Nov 24 201318:33Garrett Graham has five-catch day in loss
Garrett Graham caught five passes for 32 yards in Houston's Week 12 loss to the Jaguars.

Sun Nov 17 201317:20Garrett Graham explodes for Texans in loss
Garrett Graham caught seven passes for 136 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's Week 11 loss to the Raiders.
Graham buried his team by losing a fumble on the very first possession. But after that, he had his best game as a pro. He caught 42-yard bomb for a touchdown off a wild scramble from Case Keenum and continued to run free in the Raiders secondary all day long. It comes out of nowhere as Graham had been a huge disappointment since Owen Daniels' injury, averaging 2.8 catches for 28.4 yards with no touchdowns over the previous five games. Graham still can't be trusted as a TE1 heading into the Week 12 game against the Jaguars, but he's back on the TE2 map.
