The MRI taken Monday on Locker's right wrist revealed no structural damage, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports.
Locker was diagnosed with a strain and continues to experience soreness with the wrist, which could limit his involvement in practice this week. If the Titans determine Locker is unfit to play in Week 4, Charlie Whitehurst would seem to have a clear path to the starting gig, with fellow backup Zach Mettenberger expected to miss practice time this week following a death in his family.
Mon Sep 22 201417:12Jake Locker: Hurts Wrist
Locker underwent an MRI on his right wrist Monday, NFL.com reports.
Per Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean, coach Ken Whisenhunt said he's unsure about Locker's availability for Sunday's game against the Colts. In the event that Locker is unable to play in Week 4, the Titans would to turn to Charlie Whitehurst as their starting QB.

Locker completed 17-of-34 passes for 185 yards, but he was picked off twice and fumbled twice (both were recovered), in a 33-7 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
On the positive side, Locker racked up 50 rushing yards on six carries, highlighted by a 29-yard run. Unfortunately, it was a fairly ugly game overall, with Locker failing to throw a touchdown for the first time this season. He'll look to bounce back in Week 4 against a Colts defense that is ranked 28th against the pass this season.

Locker had a mediocre performance in Sunday's 26-10 loss to Dallas, throwing for 234 yards with one touchdown and a pair of interceptions.
Locker didn't lead Tennessee to any points in the first half, and his lone touchdown came on an incredible individual effort by Delanie Walker, who scored from 61 yards away. For those that streamed Locker against a below average Cowboys defense, it was certainly a major disappointment. He still remains an intriguing option, albeit an inconsistent one, with lots of weapons, and as his rushing ability.

Locker completed 22-of-33 passes for 266 yards and two touchdowns, while also adding 14 rushing yards on six carries Sunday against the Chiefs.
Locker connected with eight different receivers, throwing touchdowns to wide receiver Kendall Wright and tight end Delanie Walker. While he did take four sacks, he didn't turn the ball over and he led the Titans to a solid 26-10 win at Arrowhead Stadium. Up next is the home-opener against the Cowboys, who allowed 201 passing yards and two passing touchdowns to the 49ers on Sunday.

Locker completed 12-of-17 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against the Falcons. He gained 12 yards on his only carry but did take a pair of sacks.
Locker played well for a second straight week, though he was once again facing a shaky NFC South defense. Still, his preseason performance has been encouraging, and the Titans have an intriguing trio of wide receivers in Kendall Wright, Nate Washington and Justin Hunter.

Locker looked sharp in Friday's preseason loss to New Orleans, completing 8-of-11 passes for 75 yards and a touchdown. He added seven yards on one run attempt.
Locker didn't waste any time, responding to New Orleans' opening touchdown by leading the Titans on a seven-play, 62-yard charge down the field on the team's first drive. Locker showed good touch on the scoring play, throwing a fade to the back of the endzone to Justin Hunter, and overall looked poised at the helm of the first-team offense.

Locker completed 1-of-2 passes for five yards and added two yards on two carries in Tennessee's preseason opener against Green Bay on Saturday.
Locker's quiet night had more to do with torrential downpour than anything else. The Titans focused on the running game as a result, though it should be noted that Locker did have trouble securing a few snaps in the bad weather. Still, the fact Locker got through an entire quarter without injury should do wonders for his confidence going forward.

Locker (foot) has reportedly moved well and displayed greater throwing accuracy early on in training camp, the Tennessean reports.
The coming season is viewed as a make-or-break campaign for the eighth overall pick in 2011 draft, with Locker in the final year of his rookie deal by virtue of the Titans not picking up his contract option for 2015. The obvious key in Locker turning things around will be staying healthy, on the heels of a 2013 season in which the QB suited up for just seven games and landed on IR in November due to a Lisfranc injury to his right foot. It's an issue that Locker appears fully recovered from at this stage and the QB is poised to see his first game action since Week 10 last season when the Titans' preseason slate opens on Aug. 9.
Mon Jun 30 201411:54Whiz to make Locker a pocket passer?
The Tennessean believes new coach Ken Whisenhunt is grooming Jake Locker as a pocket passer.
Locker's strong mobility is an asset, but Whisenhunt isn't going to drastically change the system that made stars out of statuesque quarterbacks Ben Roethlisberger, Kurt Warner and Philip Rivers. It's a risky proposition. Locker has been notoriously inaccurate dating back to his college days, and has also been skittish while progressing through reads in the pocket. We won't be targeting him as our QB2.

Wed Jun 18 201410:14Jake Locker ahead of schedule with foot
Jake Locker (Lisfranc surgery) is participating in this week's minicamp.
Locker also participated in all 10 OTAs, getting back on the field a little earlier than the Titans expected. It's great news for a quarterback that needs all the work he can get and is learning a new offense. Now in his fourth season, Locker must settle down in the pocket and improve on his career completion percentage of 57.2.

Tue May 27 201413:23Jake Locker participates in OTAs
Jake Locker (Lisfranc surgery) participated in Titans OTAs on Tuesday.
He's on track to be full-go by training camp. Locker took part in team drills, afterwards saying he "feels good." Entering the final year of his rookie deal, Locker is learning a new offense under first-year coach Ken Whisenhunt.

Wed May 21 201410:10Jake Locker making steady progress
Jake Locker (Lisfranc surgery) is expected to do "most everything" at next week's OTAs.
Locker continues to make steady progress off his surgery. He was limited to individual drills in last month's minicamp and is expected to graduate to some team drills next week. By the time training camp rolls around, he'll be roughly nine months removed from the injury. It does not project as an excuse in Locker's make-or-break fourth season.

Wed Apr 30 201418:45Titans declining 2015 team option on Locker
The Titans will not exercise QB Jake Locker's club option for 2015.
As expected. The Titans are putting Locker on the clock with one year left on his rookie deal. It's a make-or-break year for Locker, who is coming off Lisfranc surgery. If the team had picked up the option, Locker would have been scheduled to earn a $14.6 million base salary in 2015. But he could have been released without any penalty. Locker was playing the best football of his young career before getting hurt last season. The new staff isn't believed to be particularly high on Locker long-term, and this essentially confirms it.

Wed Apr 30 201410:03Jake Locker doing dropping, not rolling
Jake Locker (foot) is doing individual drills only at Titans minicamp this week, as expected.
Locker is roughly five months removed from surgery to repair the Lisfranc ligament in his right foot. He reportedly looked comfortable and smooth as while running through some drop and climb drills, but was not permitted to even practice rollouts. Regardless, Locker is expected to be a full-go for training camp.

Sat Apr 26 201413:28Whisenhunt: 'Make-or-break' season for Locker
Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt believes this is a "make-or-break" year for Jake Locker.
We agree. Locker's underwhelming start to his career could be attributed to his injury issues, but he has not been effective even while playing. He has an 18:15 TD-to-INT ratio over the last two seasons (18 games), with a 57.9 completion rate and 6.9 YPA. Locker will be the Titans' Week 1 starter, but he will need a strong, healthy season to remain in Tennessee beyond next season.

Fri Apr 18 201416:15Munchak would have let Jake Locker walk
ESPN's Chris Mortensen told NFL Live Friday that the Titans likely wouldn't have exercised Jake Locker's fifth-year option even had Mike Munchak stayed on as head coach.
Munchak, of course, was part of the team that selected Locker with the eighth pick in the 2011 draft. It's telling that the Titans wouldn't have locked in Locker even under the coaching staff that worked with him for three full years. Locker's durability has been poor, but his on-field performance has been just as concerning. He has an 18:15 TD-to-INT ratio over the last two seasons (18 games), with a 57.9 completion rate and 6.9 YPA, absorbing 41 sacks.

Mon Apr 7 201413:35Jake Locker says he's 'ahead of schedule'
Jake Locker (Lisfranc surgery) reiterated Monday that he's "ahead of schedule," and is "shooting" to be ready for May OTAs.
The Nashville Tennessean's Jim Wyatt posted a TwitPic Monday of Locker with a Nike running shoe as opposed to a walking boot. At this point, we're less concerned with Locker's foot than his on-field ability. Ex-OC Dowell Loggains had Locker playing the best football of his career before the 2013 injury, and he still didn't resemble a franchise quarterback. The coaching staff was fired and replaced by Ken Whisenhunt, who's been noncommittal on Locker as his 2014 starter.
