Mon Nov 11 201310:38Report: Titans nearly certain Locker is done
A source tells ESPN that the Titans are 99 percent certain Jake Locker (foot) is out for the season.
The Titans fear Locker sustained a Lisfranc injury that could require surgery. Further testing Monday is expected to confirm those suspicions. It leaves the 4-5 Titans with Ryan Fitzpatrick as their starter and Rusty Smith as the backup going forward. Locker, who missed five games last year due to two shoulder injuries and then two more this year due to a hip injury, is earning an injury-prone label. His rookie contract expires after next season.

Sun Nov 10 201317:48Report: Jake Locker's season could be over
According to the Nashville Tennessean's Jim Wyatt, "indications are" Jake Locker's right foot injury could be season ending.
A source tells Wyatt the Titans fear a Lisfranc injury and surgery "is a possibility." If so, it'll end another up-and-down tease of a season for Locker, who is now a third-year pro. He's been maddeningly streaky dating back to his days at the University of Washington and continued that trend into 2013. An MRI will likely be performed either late Sunday or Monday. Ryan Fitzpatrick is expected to be Tennessee's quarterback the rest of the way.

Sun Nov 10 201314:07Jake Locker exits game with first-half injury
Jake Locker exited Sunday's Week 10 game with a second-quarter injury to his right foot.
Ryan Fitzpatrick has come on. Locker's gait en route to the locker room reminded us of Jay Cutler's in Week 7, meaning it wasn't pretty. Locker appears extremely doubtful to return.

Sun Nov 3 201316:38Locker turns it over twice, but Titans win
Jake Locker completed 13-of-22 passes for 185 yards and two interceptions, and rushed three times for ten yards and a score.
He took four sacks, missed open receivers, and still saved fantasy owners with a five-yard rushing touchdown to turn a true clunker into a passable day. Locker faces the Jaguars' porous defense in Week 10, and we'd still view him as a viable QB1 streamer due to the opponent. Locker is an incredibly streaky player, and that's the kind of get-well matchup that could get him hot.

Thu Oct 31 201310:18Jake Locker feeling much healthier
Jake Locker (knee, hip) said he's now moving far better than he did prior to the Week 8 bye.
Locker made a surprising and effective early return from his hip and MCL in Week 7, throwing for 326 yards with two touchdowns and running for 29 yards against the 49ers. Now he's had the bye week to heal and gets to face a Rams defense that is coming off an emotional loss to the Seahawks and playing on a short week. Locker is one of the stronger QB2 plays around right now. His mobility is a major asset.

Sun Oct 20 201314:44Jake Locker (hip) active, starting vs. 49ers
Jake Locker (hip) is active and will start Sunday's Week 7 game against the 49ers.
Locker made quite the recovery. After injuring his hip in Week 4, it was initially thought he would miss close to two months. Instead, Locker missed two starts and the Titans went 0-2 with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center. Inactive for the Titans are OLB Zaviar Gooden, MLB Moise Fokou, T Byron Stingily, QB Rusty Smith, LB Patrick Bailey, C Rob Turner, and DE Derrick Morgan.

Sat Oct 19 201311:44Report: Titans expect Locker (hip) to start
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Titans expect Jake Locker (hip) to start Sunday's Week 7 game against the 49ers.
This comes as a surprise. Locker was listed as questionable on the injury report after getting in limited practices this week. However, beat writers observed Locker with a noticeable limp in Friday's session. He was carted off the field in Week 4 and looked like he was going to miss more than three weeks. Ryan Fitzpatrick lost both of his starts in Locker's place. Locker is a low-end QB2.

Fri Oct 18 201314:54Munchak: Locker's status decided Saturday
Coach Mike Munchak told reporters Friday he plans to decide Jake Locker's (hip, questionable) availability on Saturday.
"Jake wants it," said Munchak. "It is going to be us to keep him off the field. I don't know that he'll be 100 percent honest with us, unfortunately. ... He knows how important he is to team. But he understands what we have to do and he'll go by ultimately what we decide is best, even though he may not agree with us, because there's a lot of football to go this year." We expect the Titans to decide to keep Locker sidelined one more game. He's still limping, and Tennessee has a Week 8 bye to nurse him back to 100 percent.

Fri Oct 18 201314:09Jake Locker listed as questionable
Jake Locker (hip, knee) is listed as questionable for Week 7 against the 49ers.
Locker participated in a large chunk of Friday's practice, but beat writers still noticed him limping around on his bad hip and knee. His most likely return date is Week 9 against the Rams, following Tennessee's Week 8 bye.

Thu Oct 17 201316:15Jake Locker cleared for contact
Jake Locker (hip, knee) has been cleared for contact.
Locker has yet to be officially ruled out for Sunday's game after getting in two straight limited practices, but that should happen on Friday. Getting cleared for contact now, however, gives him a good chance of returning to the starting lineup following Tennessee's Week 8 bye.

Thu Oct 17 201315:37Jake Locker practices again Thursday
Jake Locker (hip, knee) remained limited in Thursday's practice.
Locker isn't playing this week, but is reportedly "throwing the ball well" in practice. Locker's best-case scenario remains returning after the Titans' Week 8 bye.

Wed Oct 16 201315:08Jake Locker (hip) practices on limited basis
Jake Locker (hip, knee) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday.
Locker did some light throwing and participated in the individual portion of practice. He was spotted with a noticeable limp and is still recovering from his hip/knee injuries. The "best-case scenario" remains that Locker returns after the Titans' Week 8 bye.

Mon Oct 14 201314:55'Best-case scenario' for Locker Week 9
The "best-case scenario" for Jake Locker's (hip, knee) return remains after the Titans' Week 8 bye.
Ryan Fitzpatrick is going to start against the 49ers this week. Tennessee's Week 9 tilt with the Rams is only 20 days away, making it seem like a bit of a stretch.

Wed Oct 2 201308:18Jake Locker now expected to miss 4-6 weeks
Per ESPN's Ed Werder, the Titans now estimate Jake Locker (hip, knee) will return in 4-6 weeks.
The Titans' bye comes in Week 8. So in an absolute best-case scenario, Locker will miss just three games (vs. Chiefs, at Seahawks, vs.49ers) and return for a Week 9 game at the Rams. It's awful timing as he had the Titans at 3-1 while completing 62.2 percent of his passes to go with a 6:0 TD-to-INT ratio. Noodle-armed Ryan Fitzpatrick will step in as a weak QB2 until Locker returns.

Tue Oct 1 201314:32'No major damage' to Jake Locker's hip joint
Jake Locker's second MRI revealed "no major damage" to his hip joint, and he has already begun rehabbing his hip and MCL injuries.
Locker's injury is officially being called a sprained hip. The Titans still "certainly (expect Locker) to miss a few weeks," but it sounds like he'll avoid injured reserve/designated to return. It's the best possible news considering how severe Locker's injury appeared to be on Sunday. Nevertheless, Locker isn't worth holding onto outside of deeper two-quarterback leagues. The Titans are rolling with Ryan Fitzpatrick in his absence.

Mon Sep 30 201315:50Report: Jake Locker out 'at least' 4-6 weeks
The Nashville Tennessean reports Jake Locker (hip) is expected to miss at least 4-6 weeks, and "possibly more depending on rehab."
That's despite the fact that "the damage isn't as bad as initially feared," and surgery isn't expected to be needed. Locker is undergoing another MRI on Tuesday to determine the full extent of the damage. Locker has only been officially ruled out for Week 5, but he'll be lucky to be back before November. He's very much a candidate for injured reserve/designated to return. Fill-in Ryan Fitzpatrick will be a low-end QB2 in Tennessee's run-heavy offense.

Mon Sep 30 201314:38Munchak: Locker not done, needs another MRI
Speaking Monday, Titans coach Mike Munchak said Jake Locker (hip) is not done for the season, but that he requires another MRI.
Per Munchak, there was "nothing obvious" on Locker's first MRI, so he'll get another one on Tuesday. The coach also revealed that Locker suffered a sprained MCL Sunday, but that it's "minor." Basically, all we know is that it's a fluid situation, and that Locker can be safely ruled out for Week 5. Reports that he was headed for injured reserve/designated to return appear quite premature, however.

Mon Sep 30 201313:26Short-term IR Locker's likely destination?
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport is "told" injured reserve/designated to return is Jake Locker's (hip) most likely landing spot.
If true, it would cost Locker most of the rest of the season, and put the keys to the Titans' thus far humming car into noodle-armed Ryan Fitzpatrick's hands. We should get official word later this afternoon at coach Mike Munchak's press conference, though it's possible the Titans will still be awaiting test results.

Sun Sep 29 201322:38Results of Locker's MRI are not yet known
The results of Jake Locker's hip MRI are not yet known.
Locker got hit by Muhammad Wilkerson and Quinton Coples early in the second half of Sunday's win over the Jets. He immediately grabbed his right hip and winced in pain. Locker ended up at the hospital, where he was to undergo an MRI. Coach Mike Munchak said initial tests at the stadium didn't indicate the joint had popped out of place. Ryan Fitzpatrick is Locker's backup.
