Paul (concussion) participated in individual drills Thursday, Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports.
Paul's ability to practice substantiates his contention that he hasn't suffered recent headaches or nausea since coming down with a head injury last Thursday against the Giants. Fortunately, he's been afforded additional rest due to Washington's upcoming Monday night affair against the Seahawks, who have surprisingly yielded five touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season. If he receives clearance from the league's concussion protocol, he'll look to take advantage of the matchup.

Paul (concussion) says he isn't suffering from headaches or nausea leading up to Monday's game against the Seahawks, ESPN Radio 980 D.C. reports.
Paul was ruled out just before half-time of last Thursday's game against the Giants after suffering an obvious concussion following a helmet-to-helmet hit. However, given the Redskins' long break between Week 4 and Week 5, Paul stands a chance of being cleared to play Monday versus the Seahawks. With Jordan Reed (hamstring) also on the mend, the Redskins' tight end situation will be one to monitor throughout this week.

Paul is being evaluated for a concussion and will not return to Thursday's game against the Giants, ESPN reports.
Paul was down on the field for several minutes after taking an ugly hit to the helmet during Thursday night's game against the Giants. Since Paul will not return and Jordan Reed (hamstring) is inactive, Logan Paulsen represents the Redskins' only remaining tight end.

With Jordan Reed inactive, Paul is in line to continue to see an expanded role in the Washington offense Thursday against the Giants.
In Reed's absence, Paul has caught 14 of 20 targets over his last two games for a combined 167 yards and a TD, thus carving out early-season fantasy utility.

Paul had six catches on nine targets for 68 yards Sunday against the Eagles.
With Jordan Reed (hamstring) sidelined again, Paul was another popular target for quarterback Kirk Cousins, who only threw more passes to wideouts Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson. With Reed unable to practice this week, it seems like a long shot that he will play in Week 4, as the Redskins will play the Giants on Thursday. If Reed sits again, Paul should continue to see a decent number of passes thrown his way.

Paul had eight catches on 11 targets for 99 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Jaguars.
Logan Paulsen technically got the start in place of the injured Jordan Reed (hamstring), but he did not record a single target. The bad news is that starting quarterback Robert Griffin was knocked out of the game in the first quarter with an ankle injury, but the good news is that Paul caught his touchdown pass from backup Kirk Cousins, who could be the starter from now on. Paul has 185 receiving yards and a touchdown through two games and has a solid Week 3 matchup against the Eagles coming up.

With Jordan Reed out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Paul is in line for added opportunities in the Washington offense in Week 2, the team's official site reports.
Fellow TE Logan Paulsen is also in the mix for added work Sunday, but of the two, Paul offers more upside as a pass-catcher, after hauling in all four of his targets for 86 yards in Week 1's loss to the Texans.

Paul is expected to see more time on the field with Jordan Reed (hamstring) expected to miss time.
Paul will likely split time with Logan Paulson. Paul is the more athletic and a better pass catcher while Paulson is a better blocker.

Paul had one of the best games of his career in Sunday's loss at Houston, catching four passes on four targets for 86 yards, including a 48-yard reception.
Paul saw more action than normal because starting tight end Jordan Reed was knocked out of the game with a hamstring injury. Paul is still technically behind Logan Paulsen on the depth chart, but Paulsen had just two catches for zero yards. If you are in a deep league and desperate for a tight end, Paul might not be a bad option, especially if Reed is out for an extended period of time.
Sun Aug 31 201412:04Paul enters season as Redskins' 3rd tight end
Paul enters the season as the Redskins' No. 3 tight end, the Washington Post reports.
Following the team's release of rookie tight end Ted Bolser on Saturday, Paul slots in behind Jordan Reed and Logan Paulsen, thus placing him a break or two away from fantasy consideration.

Paul left Monday's game with a hand injury, and is questionable to return.
Paul is competing with Logan Paulsen to serve as Jordan Reed's primary backup at tight end. He caught two passes for 22 yards prior to exiting, and a return has yet to be ruled out.
Mon Aug 13 201214:12Niles Paul could one day switch to fullback
According to the Washington Examiner, the "belief" is that Redskins TE Niles Paul could "learn fullback soon enough."
Beat writer John Keim isn't reporting that another position switch is imminent for the 2011 fifth-rounder, but it bodes poorly for Paul's future as a pass-catcher that the idea is even in the embryonic stages. Paul dropped multiple passes in the Redskins' preseason opener. He's headed for another season as a special teamer.

Tue Jul 3 201212:50Niles Paul says transition is going well
Niles Paul says his transition from wide receiver to tight end is going as "smooth as it can."
"The biggest challenge is blocking," Paul said. "Especially the combo blocks and the cut blocks." Paul could be featured as a receiver in some two tight end sets, but should see the majority of his snaps on special teams.

Mon May 21 201217:26Niles Paul still working at tight end
Niles Paul has continued to work at tight end during Redskins OTAs.
He's up to 235 pounds after playing in the low-220s at Nebraska, and beat writer John Keim suggests Paul could be a "major threat" on bootlegs as a catch-first tight end. Paul probably won't be on the fantasy radar in his first year at the position, but he could make Chris Cooley expendable behind Fred Davis.

Thu Apr 19 201216:44Niles Paul working with Redskins tight ends
Redskins WR Niles Paul was reportedly working with the tight-end group in this week's workouts.
Last year's fifth-rounder is thick at 225 pounds, but his 6'1" height is awfully low for a tight end. He's built more like a running back. Blocked at receiver by the team's free-agent signings, Paul is ticketed for another season of special teams work if he makes the roster.

Mon Nov 21 201115:35Niles Paul unlikely to play in Week 12
Redskins coach Mike Shanahan does not expect Niles Paul (turf toe) to play in Week 12.
Paul shed his walking boot last week, but is still dealing with some inflammation. He'll likely return in Week 13. Although the Redskins figure to get their rookie wideout some reps down the stretch, he won't be worth a flier with Santana Moss set to return as early as this week.

Wed Nov 16 201111:41Niles Paul still not cleared
Redskins WR Niles Paul (turf toe) has not been cleared to practice yet.
Paul just shed his walking boot and starting jogging, so he is almost certainly out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. The rookie was primarily being used on special teams, but is missing a chance for offensive snaps with Leonard Hankerson (hip) and Santana Moss (finger) both sidelined.

Mon Nov 14 201111:33Niles Paul sheds walking boot
Redskins WR Niles Paul (turf toe) has shed his protective boot.
Good news, but Paul has yet to resume running. Coach Mike Shanahan said last Monday that Paul was going to miss "a couple weeks," so he should be considered a long-shot to suit up against the Cowboys.

Mon Nov 7 201115:42Niles Paul out with turf toe injury
Redskins coach Mike Shanahan revealed Monday that Niles Paul will miss "a couple weeks" with a turf-toe injury.
Paul has 25 yards on two receptions and just one punt return on the season, so his absence shouldn't be felt. Leonard Hankerson had recently passed him up on the depth chart. Paul had been playing mostly on special teams.

Sun Nov 6 201114:29Niles Paul leaves with toe injury
Redskins WR Niles Paul sustained a toe injury in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the 49ers.
Paul is questionable to return. The fifth-round rookie has been passed by Leonard Hankerson on the depth chart anyway.
