Fri Aug 9 201313:14Aldrick Robinson's stock down?
CSN Washington considers Redskins WR Aldrick Robinson's stock "down" after Thursday's preseason opener.
Robinson could corral just 2-of-6 targets for 28 yards, and also muffed what would have been a long gain. Coach Mike Shanahan has said he's looking for more consistency from the 2011 sixth-rounder, and this certainly wouldn't fit the bill. Robinson has more working in his favor than against, but will have to clean up his game for the second and third preseason games.

Tue Jul 30 201310:50Aldrick Robinson standing out again
Both coach Mike Shanahan and Robert Griffin have identified WR Aldrick Robinson as a player that's standing out at camp.
Robinson has been called a poor man's DeSean Jackson by former Rotoworldian Chris Wesseling. A 5'10/178 vertical speedster, he projects as Pierre Garcon's backup at split end this season. Robinson projects as an intriguing waiver add if Garcon's foot issues act up.

Thu May 30 201316:35Aldrick Robinson shining at Redskins OTAs
Coach Mike Shanahan says WR Aldrick Robinson has had "one heck of a camp."
Robinson, a 2011 sixth-round pick out of SMU, came out of nowhere to catch four passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 last season, but he ended up catching just seven more passes all season. A legit deep threat, as evidenced by 49- and 68-yard touchdowns last season, Robinson will compete with Leonard Hankerson and the washed up Santana Moss for No. 3 duties this season.

Thu Nov 22 201220:36Aldrick Robinson catches 68-yard TD bomb
Redskins WR Aldrick Robinson's lone Week 12 reception went for a 68-yard touchdown against the Cowboys.
A little-used streak-route, one-trick pony at this point, Robinson got behind the defense for a 68-yard touchdown bomb off play action early in the second quarter. RG3 put his all behind the ball, and Robinson just ran under it. Robinson has 11 receptions on the season and isn't a fantasy option.

Mon Nov 5 201209:05Aldrick Robinson flops in start
Aldrick Robinson ended up playing just 32 snaps in Sunday's loss to the Panthers.
Robinson started ahead of Leonard Hankerson, but dropped a pass on the first play of the game and saw a mere two targets. His snap count probably would have been even more meager if Santana Moss didn't sustain a concussion in the fourth quarter. Hankerson came on for 44 snaps and caught three passes for 49 yards. Unless Pierre Garcon (foot) gets healthy, the Skins' wideout corps is a fantasy black hole.

Sun Nov 4 201218:31Aldrick Robinson held to 6 yards in start
Starting over Leonard Hankerson, Aldrick Robinson was held to one catch for six yards versus the Panthers in Week 9.
The Redskins wanted Robinson's game-breaking speed in the lineup, but they didn't any shot plays down the field. Robinson had a ball go through his hands on the first play of the game was stopped just shy of the goal line on his lone catch. Hankerson (3 catches, 49 yards) was the more effective of the two receivers. Robinson is best utilized as a situational deep threat going forward.

Sun Nov 4 201211:47Aldrick Robinson will start over WR Hankerson
Aldrick Robinson is starting over Leonard Hankerson versus the Panthers in Week 9.
This is not a surprise. Labeling Robinson one of the fastest players in the NFL, coach Mike Shanahan suggested mid-week that he would be in for an increased role going forward. The disappointing Hankerson is unplayable in fantasy leagues while Robinson is a risky flex option. Redskins inactives: QB Rex Grossman, S Brandon Meriweather, WR Pierre Garcon, DE Doug Worthington, CB Richard Crawford, OG Adam Gettis, and OL Maurice Hurt.

Thu Nov 1 201216:12Aldrick Robinson headed for increased role
Coach Mike Shanahan promises an increased role for WR Aldrick Robinson going forward.
With Pierre Garcon and Fred Davis out, the Redskins sorely need Robinson's electric speed. If not for a pair of missed blocks and a dropped pass early in the season, Robinson would have been playing more snaps all along. According to Pro Football Focus, Robinson's average depth of target (19.6 yards) is the highest in the NFL this season. He could eat into a disappointing Leonard Hankerson's snaps.

Sun Sep 9 201218:10Rookie Robinson catches four passes and TD
Redskins wide receiver Aldrick Robinson caught four passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in Week 1.
The four catches were the first of Robinson's career. When Pierre Garcon left the game with a foot injury, Robinson was the one to come in the game, not Leonard Hankerson. He showed some flashes, and we now know why the Redskins went through the trouble of keeping Robinson on the active roster and away from other teams last year. He isn't fantasy relevant yet, but we'll keep an eye on him.

Tue May 8 201213:46Redskins kept WR Robinson from Jaguars
The Redskins promoted WR Aldrick Robinson from the practice squad late last season to to keep him from signing with the Jaguars.
The Skins are intrigued by Robinson's 4.43 speed even if he failed to get behind defensive backs in practices last season. If the Redskins end up keeping Santana Moss, Robinson will likely have to battle Terrence Austin and Brandon Banks for the final receiver spot.

Sat Sep 3 201111:09Redskins waive sixth rounder
Redskins waived WR Aldrick Robinson.
A sixth-round pick out of SMU, the Redskins were hoping Robinson would be able to contribute as a slot receiver. He failed to notch a catch during the preseason, however, and simply didn't show enough to crack what is far from a loaded receiving corps.

Thu Jul 28 201108:53Redskins agree to deal with Aldrick Robinson
Redskins agreed to terms with sixth-round WR Aldrick Robinson on a four-year contract.
Robinson isn't as gifted as fellow SMU alum Emmanuel Sanders, a revelation as a rookie in Pittsburgh last season. However, Robinson has drawn high marks from NFL Films guru Greg Cosell as a "dynamic slot prospect" who could eventually replace 32-year-old Santana Moss. All of the Skins' offseason receiver pickups may have Robinson ticketed for the practice squad in year one.
