Thu Nov 7 201316:40Rob Housler limited with groin injury
Cardinals TE Rob Housler was added to the injury report Thursday, getting in a limited session with a groin issue.
It's an indication he suffered the injury in practice. Housler was previously sidelined with an ankle issue. We should get a better idea of his status on Friday. Housler is currently Rotoworld's No. 27 tight end for Week 10.

Sun Oct 27 201320:08Rob Housler barely plays in win over ATL
Rob Housler caught just one pass for 14 yards in Sunday's Week 8 win over the Falcons.
Housler barely played as the Cardinals did everything they could to protect Carson Palmer. And once they got a lead, we knew there was no reason for them to insert the pass-catching tight end. Housler is now on pace for just 28 catches, 270 yards and no touchdowns. He's one of the bigger disappointments at the tight end position.

Fri Oct 18 201300:45Rob Housler goes 7/53 versus Seattle
Rob Housler caught seven passes for 53 yards in Arizona's Week 7 loss to the Seahawks.
The seven grabs doubled Housler's previous season total, and give him 11 over his past two games. He also committed a fumble (which the Cardinals recovered), however, and made just one catch outside of garbage time. Housler's physical skills are impressive, but he's barely on the TE2 radar in Arizona's dysfunctional offense.

Sun Oct 13 201321:00Housler catches four passes in Week 6 loss
Rob Housler caught four passes for 32 yards in Week 6 against San Francisco.
Housler was targeted five times and it was easily his best game of the season. That tells you all you need to know about Housler's fantasy prospects. There's a ton of talent here, but Housler plays in an offense that doesn't cater to tight ends. He's off the re-draft radar.

Thu Oct 10 201310:42Rob Housler struggling badly for ARZ
Rob Housler had one drop, one miscommunication with Carson Palmer and lined up wrong once in last week's loss to the Panthers.
Housler has two catches for 36 yards on seven targets through three games so far. He's taking away snaps from Andre Roberts, but that won't last if he doesn't pick his game up. "I'm very disappointed in my production so far," Housler said. "It's something you go out and just keep working on every day." Despite significant athleticism, there's only Dynasty stash appeal here.

Rob Housler catch one pass for 23 yards in Arizona's Week 4 win over the Bucs.
Housler has now caught just one pass in each of his first two games since returning from an ankle injury. Housler has serious talent, but is currently without a pass-catching role in Bruce Arians' offense. Considering Arians' history with tight ends, that might not change any time soon.

Fri Sep 20 201316:45Rob Housler listed as probable
Rob Housler (ankle) practiced fully Friday and is listed as probable for Week 3.
We can't pretend to know Housler's usage in Bruce Arians' offense because we've never seen him in it. Perhaps tight end-desperate fantasy owners should grab Housler, but we're not optimistic he'll pay many dividends. For the Cards, at least, he'll be an obvious upgrade over fill-in starter Jim Dray.

Cardinals TE Rob Housler (ankle) is expected to remain sidelined for Week 2.
