Mon Dec 31 201209:08McCarthy: We don't have a starting RB
Coach Mike McCarthy acknowledged after Sunday's Week 17 loss to Minnesota that the Packers do not have a true starting running back.
As they've been most of the year, the Packers are a hot-hand backfield team and will remain so in the playoffs. "We don't have a starting running back," McCarthy said. DuJuan Harris led Green Bay in carries (14) and rush yards (70) against the Vikings, while Alex Green didn't play and Ryan Grant ran just twice for two yards. It's a situation to avoid in NFL playoff fantasy leagues.

Sun Dec 30 201220:52DuJuan Harris developing hot hand for Packers
DuJuan Harris dominated the Packers' backfield playing time in Week 17 at Minnesota, rushing 14 times for 70 yards while adding two receptions for 17 yards.
Although active, Alex Green didn't see the field. Ryan Grant saw just two carries for two yards. Coach Mike McCarthy promised to ride the hot hand at running back, and Harris was clearly a major part of this week's game plan despite Grant's breakout fantasy performance in Week 16. Harris' appears to be McCarthy's lead back entering the playoffs, though that could change at any point.

Sun Dec 23 201219:03DuJuan Harris rushes for 29 yards, touchdown
Packers RB DuJuan Harris rushed eight times for 29 yards and a touchdown in Green Bay's Week 16 win over Tennessee.
Harris surprisingly got the start at tailback with both James Starks and Alex Green inactive, but finished with eight carries compared to Ryan Grant's 20. Harris has flashed as a change-of-pace back off the bench, and is a good fit for Green Bay's zone run scheme. The Packers will finish out the regular season against the Vikings in Week 17.

Mon Dec 10 201200:51DuJuan Harris posts 7/31/1 line vs. Lions
DuJuan Harris rushed seven times for 31 yards and a touchdown in Green Bay's Week 14 win over the Lions.
Operating as Alex Green's change-of-pace back, Harris put some jolt in the Packers' running game, exploding through the hole for a 14-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Although Harris was stopped for two yards or fewer on four of his seven carries, he appeared ready to add some much needed pop to the Packers' plodding rushing attack. Afterward, he drew praise from both coach Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers. Green did nothing to lose lead-back status this evening, but Harris is someone to monitor heading into the stretch run.

Fri Dec 7 201211:14DuJuan Harris to be limited to special teams
Coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that recently promoted RB DuJuan Harris' primary contribution will come on special teams.
"He's 5-foot-7, but other than that we like everything about him," added McCarthy. The Packers like Harris' quickness and play-making ability, but his ceiling is change-of-pace back. With pass protection concerns, he's going to be well behind Alex Green and Ryan Grant on the depth chart.

Sat Dec 1 201217:50Packers add two from practice squad
Packers signed RB DuJuan Harris and WR Jeremy Ross from the team's practice squad.
Harris spent much of the preseason with the Jaguars before being claimed off waivers by the Steelers in late August. He's a smaller back with some speed. Ross was signed as an undrafted free agent out of California by the Patriots in 2011. Both players will be special teams contributors if active on game days.

Mon Aug 27 201216:35Steelers claim RB Harris from Jaguars
Steelers claimed RB DuJuan Harris off waivers from the Jaguars.
A smallish scat back out of Troy, Harris spent the majority of last season on Jacksonville's practice squad before a late-season promotion. He's unlikely to make the Steelers' final roster with Chris Rainey and Baron Batch filling the same role.

Tue Dec 13 201113:16Koetter: RB Harris most improved on offense
Jaguars OC Dirk Koetter suggests RB DuJuan Harris "might be the most improved player we have on offense."
Harris is already playing ahead of Deji Karim as Maurice Jones-Drew's rare change-of-pace. The Florida Times-Union suggested Monday that Harris, a pint-sized scat back out of Troy, could soon "be pushing Karim out of a job."
