Hogan (hamstring) is listed as probable for Sunday's game in Denver after practicing on a limited basis for the third straight day Friday.
He'll serve as the third receiver again with Sammy Watkins (hip) and Robert Woods (ankle) also listed as probable. Hogan has been held to single-digit yardage the last two weeks so he's an incredibly risky play this week. That said, the Broncos have two very good corners who will likely be assigned to Watkins and Woods, so if this game turns into one where the Bills are playing catch-up, Hogan could see a few extra looks, something that's happened a few times this season already.

Hogan was listed as limited for Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring issue.
Hogan had a hip injury last week and still played, so the Bills' nice surprise of a receiver is starting to feel some wear and tear of being out on the field so much more. Hogan scored for the second time in four games in the win against Cleveland, though he's only seen seven combined targets over the last two weeks as Robert Woods is now the guy getting the most looks from Kyle Orton. That situation has been fluid all season, however, depending on what opposing defenses have offered up, so we wouldn't be surprised to see Hogan pop off one or two more useable outings by season's end. The problem is trying to guess correctly on the Bills' third receiver.

Hogan (hip) caught just two balls for five yards and didn't score in Monday's win over the Jets. He was targeted three times.
After being targeted 16 times in the last two games, this was the Robert Woods Show, as he kept getting open as Jets defensive backs futilely tried to cover him and Kyle Orton kept looking Woods' way. Hogan will have better nights than this and he's certainly developed his own good rapport with Orton, though with two other viable receiving options in a passing offense that is pretty mediocre, he's also going to be a hit-or-miss option.

Hogan (hip) is listed as active for Monday's game against the Jets.
With a combined 12 catches on 16 targets for 131 yards and a TD over his last two games, Hogan has some chemistry going with QB Kyle Orton, thus placing him on the fantasy radar in deeper formats.

While the Bills were unable to practice Wednesday due to a nasty snowstorm in Buffalo, Hogan (hip) is listed as a would-be full participant.
We suppose this isn't much to worry about, just that Hogan took a good shot during last Thursday's 7/74/0 outing against the Dolphins. He's become a quick favorite of Kyle Orton while easily wresting away the No. 3 receiver job from Mike Williams, getting targeted 16 times over the last two weeks.

Hogan caught 7-of-9 targets for 74 yards in Thursday's 22-9 loss to the Dolphins.
The Bills largely relied on Hogan and Bryce Brown, rarely taking shots down the field. Hogan recorded each of 5+ receptions, 6+ targets and 55+ receiving yards for a fourth time in the last five games. His role isn't especially conducive to making big plays or scoring touchdowns, but, Hogan has been a bigger part of the offense than Robert Woods over the past few weeks. Meanwhile, Mike Williams is all but irrelevant, and Sammy Watkins is still the clear No. 1 option.

Hogan caught five passes on seven targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. He as on the field for 81 percent of the team's offensive snaps, according to WGR550.com.
Sammy Watkins isn't 100 percent right now as he works through a groin injury, so the workload ended up getting spread out pretty evenly among Watkins, Robert Woods, and Hogan. He almost scored a second time, but Kyle Orton missed on the throw. Things are looking up for Hogan, who is clearly the team's No. 3 wideout these days, while Mike Williams has found himself as a healthy scratch. Hogan has six or more targets in three of the last four games.

Hogan's teammate Sammy Watkins (groin) is listed as questionable this week and hasn't practiced the last two days.
If Watkins can't go, Hogan, who has worked his way into the No. 3 receiving role ahead of Mike Williams, would stand to see even more opportunity this week against the Chiefs, as Robert Woods and Hogan would likely be the two starters.

Hogan saw a modest 24 offensive snaps during Sunday's win over the Jets, or 44 percent, according to WGR550.com. He caught his only target for 14 yards.
That's certainly disappointing considering Hogan saw 12 combined targets over the previous two weeks and moved himself past Mike Williams and into the No. 3 receiver role. Perhaps he's not quite there yet in terms of deep-league reliability, though if you're looking for some hope, Williams only saw 22 percent of the offensive snaps, and Hogan would likely move into the No. 2 role if Robert Woods' back injury was anything serious. Though with a bye week ahead, we'd be surprised if Woods isn't out there for Week 10.

Hogan had five catches on six targets for 72 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Patriots.
With Sammy Watkins followed by Darrelle Revis all day and Mike Williams a healthy scratch, Hogan got a chance for significantly more playing time and he made the most of it, capping his day with an eight-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to bring the Bills within one touchdown. He seems to have developed a good chemistry with quarterback Kyle Orton and may be moving ahead of Marquise Goodwin, who failed to catch any of the three passes thrown to him Sunday, on the depth chart.

Hogan (ankle) was held without a catch or even an offensive snap in Sunday's Week 1 win over Chicago.
Hogan opened up some eyes with his great work in the slot all summer, but speedster Marquise Goodwin looks like the No. 4 receiver and Hogan will need at least one injury ahead of him to start seeing meaningful time on offense.

Hogan has survived the final cutdown and appears as if he'll be on the Bills' season-opening 53-man roster.
The question is whether the receiver called "7-11" is the No. 4, 5, or 6 guy in the pecking order, so we'll keep an eye on what the coaching staff has to say in the coming weeks. Hogan's forte is in the slot, and he could show up on deep radars early in the season if Sammy Watkins' rib injury - which the team still considers minor - turns into something that puts him on the shelf.

Marquise Goodwin (hamstring) took the first snaps as the No. 3 wide receiver in Saturday's preseason game against the Buccaneers, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.
Hogan has worked as the slot man in three-wide sets for much of the preseason, but it seems that Goodwin's return from injury could knock him back to fifth on the depth chart, with Sammy Watkins (hamstring), Mike Williams and Robert Woods accounting for the top three spots.

Hogan caught both of his targets for 43 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Panthers.
Hogan has made a surprising amount of noise this preseason, working as the No. 3 wide receiver with the first-team offense. He was previously believed to be nothing more than a fourth or fifth receiver, but Hogan may have a shot to cut into the targets of Mike Williams and Robert Woods. Williams and Sammy Watkins have started both preseason games, but Woods is listed No. 2 on the depth chart. With Marquise Goodwin also a candidate to earn a role in the offense, the Bills have quite a few receiving options for a team that isn't expected to do a ton of throwing.

Hogan worked as the No. 3 receiver with the Bill's first-team offense in Sunday's Hall of Fame Game against the Giants.
There's no need to overreact to the first preseason game, but Robert Woods was surprisingly absent until the second-team offense took the field. Mike Williams started across from Sammy Watkins, while Hogan worked out of the slot with both the first and second teams, finishing with three receptions for 12 yards on four targets. It may be that Hogan has a real shot at earning the slot role, but he should still be viewed as a player on the roster bubble. Hopefully, the Bills will provide some explanation for Woods' usage, though we wouldn't count on it.
Fri Jun 13 201411:46Chris Hogan running with starters out of slot
Bills WR Chris Hogan ran with the first-team offense as the slot receiver during OTAs.
ESPN Bills reporter Mike Rodak labeled Hogan a "riser" after OTAs. With Hogan manning the slot, it kept Robert Woods and Sammy Watkins outside, leaving Mike Williams and T.J. Graham running with the twos. Hogan (6-foot-1, 220) has a good pair of hands and was nicknamed "7-11" on the Hard Knocks season that featured the Dolphins because he was always open.

Bills re-signed exclusive rights free agents WR Chris Hogan, OL Antoine McClain and FB Frank Summers.

Mon Nov 11 201310:04Chris Hogan ready to go this week
Bills WR Chris Hogan has passed concussion protocols.
Hogan appeared to sustain a head injury during Sunday's loss at Pittsburgh, but it turns out he's fine. The Bills will actually need the man known as 24/7 for depth in Week 11 as Stevie Johnson (groin) and Robert Woods (ankle) are both hobbled. Hogan has just four catches in 10 games played this season.

Fri Aug 31 201222:46'Hard Knocks' star amongst Dolphins cuts
Dolphins waived or released WR Chris Hogan, DTs Isaako Aaitui and Ryan Baker, LBs Shelly Lyons and Cameron Collins, OL Lydon Murtha, Andrew McDonald, Chandler Burden and Will Barker, CBs Vincent Agnew, Kevyn Scott and Quinten Lawrence, S Anderson Russell and DE Jarrell Root.
Root was waived/injured, while Scott was waived with an injury settlement. One of the stars of Hard Knocks, Hogan has been cut loose despite earning the nickname 7-11 - because he's always open - from Reggie Bush. He's a strong candidate for the practice squad. Murtha was waived despite being tendered at the second-round level last spring.

Wed Aug 15 201209:43Dolphins WR Hogan earns '7-11' nickname
Dolphins WR Chris Hogan has earned the moniker "7-11" from Reggie Bush, because he's "open for business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."
A four-year lacrosse player at Penn State, Hogan played one season of football for Monmouth in 2010 before a brief stint on Miami's practice squad last December. Still running with the second and third teams in camp, Hogan is likely battling B.J. Cunningham, Rishard Mathews and Jeff Fuller for two practice squad spots.
