Sat Jan 11 201421:04Travaris Cadet doesn't touch ball in loss
Saints RB Travaris Cadet was held without a touch in New Orleans' Divisional Round loss to the Seahawks.
The second-year pro drew a target in the passing game, but committed a ghastly drop. Active 13 times this season, Cadet was held without a rushing attempt, and limited to two receptions. With Khiry Robinson coming on behind the Saints' top three backs, Cadet's roster spot is in danger.

Saints declared RB Travaris Cadet, DE Tom Johnson, OLB Keyunta Dawson, S Rafael Bush, WR Nick Toon, TE Josh Hill and QB Ryan Griffin inactive for Week 16 against the Panthers.
Cadet has yet to notch a carry this season. The big Week 16 news for the Saints is that they'll be working in a new kicker, Shayne Graham.

Wed Aug 21 201321:36Travaris Cadet on the roster bubble?
The New Orleans Times-Picayune believes Saints second-year RB Travaris Cadet may be on the roster bubble.
Cadet is competing with undrafted rookie Khiry Robinson for the No. 4 running back job. After a strong rookie preseason, Cadet has struggled mightily through two exhibition games this year. He's rushed for just 35 yards on 18 carries and has fumbled twice. Robinson has 102 yards on the ground. Cadet has a versatile skill set, but he's off the re-draft fantasy radar.

Sun Jun 9 201313:43Travaris Cadet working with 3rd-team offense
Saints RB Travaris Cadet worked with the third-team offense at OTAs.
Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles shared first-team reps. Mark Ingram handled second-team work, and Cadet was the third-team tailback. Instead of shuttling between receiver and tailback as he did under Pete Carmichael last year, Cadet is working as a full-time running back. He's a deep sleeper in PPR leagues.

Fri Nov 2 201220:09Travaris Cadet likely to handle return duties
Saints RB Travaris Cadet anticipates handling most of the team's return duties with Darren Sproles (fractured hand) out indefinitely.
"Right now, pretty much," Cadet said. "But we may have a little change here and there depending on how the game is going. I'll leave that up to Coach." Cadet is listed as Sproles' direct backup on both kickoff and punt returns. He also operated in Sproles' exact role with the second-team offense in preseason games. Return-yardage and deep leaguers should add Cadet immediately.
