Tue Nov 26 201319:01Jermaine Kearse cleared to resume practicing
Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse (concussion) has been cleared to resume practicing.
Barring a setback, Kearse will be good to go for Monday night's game against the Saints. Kearse is a legitimate big-play threat, but No. 4 on the depth chart following the return of Percy Harvin, he has vanishingly-little fantasy appeal in re-draft leagues.

Sun Nov 17 201317:26Jermaine Kearse suffers concussion
Jermaine Kearse suffered a concussion in Seattle's Week 11 game against Minnesota and will not return.
The jump-ball specialist and fourth receiver didn't catch a pass before the injury. The Seahawks have a bye in Week 12, so Kearse ought to be medically cleared for the next time they play.

Sun Nov 3 201319:35Kearse goes for 43 yards, touchdown
Jermaine Kearse caught two balls for 43 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' Week 9 win over Tampa Bay.
Doug Baldwin (6-75-1) was more featured in the pass game, with Kearse operating as the No. 3 wideout behind Baldwin and Golden Tate. Kearse now has three touchdowns among just ten receptions on the season. Terrific on jump balls, Kearse will be on the low-end WR3 radar until Percy Harvin (hip, PUP) comes back.

Jermaine Kearse caught three passes for 17 yards in Seattle's Week 6 win over the Titans.
The three catches were Kearse's most of the season, which tells you all you need to know about his fantasy appeal in re-draft leagues. He's just a Dynasty-league stash.

Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse (ankle) has ditched his walking boot already.
Kearse left the Week 3 massacre of the Jags early after spraining his ankle. According to coach Pete Carroll, he was already moving around well on Monday. Kearse, a deep Dynasty stash with Golden Tate in a contract year, has three catches for 66 yards with a touchdown on the season.

Fri Aug 23 201323:59Jermaine Kearse has quiet 3rd preseason game
Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse caught one pass for nine yards in Friday night's third exhibition tilt.
Even with Percy Harvin out until at least November, Kearse is running as Seattle's No. 4 receiver behind Sidney Rice, Golden Tate, and Doug Baldwin. Through three preseason contests, Kearse has four catches for 52 yards and two touchdowns. He's a name to monitor, but isn't worth a fantasy re-draft pick.

Mon Aug 19 201312:42'Little question' WR Kearse has roster spot
The Seattle Times believes there's "little question" Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse has sewn up a roster spot.
A second-year undrafted free agent, Kearse caught three passes in seven games last season. Kearse has been making plays during the preseason, catching three passes for 43 yards and two touchdowns while taking a kick return 107 yards to the house. Kearse could carve out a nice role on special teams, but won't be higher than No. 4 or 5 on the receiver depth chart.

Sun Aug 18 201314:04Jermaine Kearse making preseason noise
Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse has three catches for 43 yards and two touchdowns through two preseason games.
Seeing action with the first-team offense Saturday versus Denver, Kearse caught a 12-yard score from Russell Wilson and scored his third touchdown of August on an 107-yard kick return. ESPN analyst Louis Riddick recently compared Kearse to Victor Cruz. Kearse's 2013 impact is most likely to come on special teams as the No. 4 wideout behind Golden Tate, Sidney Rice, and Doug Baldwin.

Wed Aug 14 201322:21Kearse, Stephen Williams standing out at camp
Jermaine Kearse and Stephen Williams have reportedly been the "class" of the Seahawks' backup receivers group throughout training camp.
Sidney Rice, Golden Tate, and Doug Baldwin are locked in as the top three after Percy Harvin's hip surgery, but the rest of the depth chart is wide open. Kearse was tabbed as a "player to watch" in the spring, and he's carried his fine play over into the summer. Fourth-rounder Chris Harper is also in the mix.

Fri May 31 201311:25Kearse thinks eye surgery has helped hands
Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse believes his hands have improved since undergoing LASIK eye surgery.
"(The surgery) has helped a lot," Kearse said. "I don't have to deal with my contacts being all blurry. I don't really drop the ball as much anymore." Kearse has been tabeed as a player to watch by beat writer Danny O'Neil, but he's an extreme long-shot for fantasy relevance this season.

Sat May 4 201316:53Kearse a 'surprise contributor' for Seahawks?
ESPN 710 Seattle's Danny O'Neil mentioned Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse as his "surprise contributor" for 2013.
It's obviously way too early for this kind of stuff, but O'Neil says Kearse "showed potential" last year in camp and during the season. In seven games last season, Kearse, 23, caught three passes for 31 yards. Kearse (6-foot-1, 209) is no higher than fifth or sixth on the depth chart at the moment.
