Sun Dec 30 201216:31Rueben Randle busts out w/ two TDs in finale
Rueben Randle caught four passes for 58 yards with two touchdowns in the Giants' Week 17 romp over the Eagles.
Hakeem Nicks (knee) barely played. That left Randle in one-on-one coverage with Nnamdi Asomugha, a matchup the second-round rookie easily exploited. Although Randle finishes with just 19 catches, 298 yards and three touchdowns, his arrow is pointing straight up going forward. Domenik Hixon could very well walk as an unrestricted free agent, locking him into the No. 3 gig. Additionally, Hakeem Nicks will be a free agent after the 2013 season. Randle has the skill set of a long-term No. 2 wideout opposite Victor Cruz.

Sun Dec 9 201220:38Rueben Randle held without a target
Rueben Randle wasn't targeted in New York's Week 14 win over the Saints.
Randle saw few, if any, snaps on offense with Domenik Hixon (ankle) returning from a two-week absence. Neither player will be on the radar in redraft leagues for the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs.

Tue Dec 4 201201:28Randle snags one pass in loss to Skins
Rueben Randle caught one pass for 13 yards in Monday night's Week 13 loss to the Redskins.
Randle saw just two targets on the night while working as the No. 3 receiver in place of the injured Domenik Hixon. The rookie remains far too inconsistent to be a fantasy option. Randle is on pace for a 18/262/1 line with a quarter of the season left.

Mon Nov 26 201200:47Rueben Randle scores first career touchdown
Rueben Randle caught two passes for 26 yards and a touchdown in New York's Week 12 win over the Packers.
The score was the first of Randle's career. Although Randle continues to make strides and could be in for another week of No. 3 receiver duties in Week 13 as Domenik Hixon works his way back from an ankle injury, he remains far too inconsistent to be trusted in fantasy leagues. He's off the radar in redraft formats.

Sun Nov 11 201217:48Rueben Randle catches just two passes
Rueben Randle caught two passes for four yards in the Giants' Week 10 loss to the Bengals.
Randle's quiet afternoon came despite the fact that Domenik Hixon was knocked out early with an ankle injury. Although Randle's role has been steadily growing, he's still miles away from fantasy relevance outside of Dynasty leagues.

Sun Nov 4 201220:24Rueben Randle held without a catch
Rueben Randle was held without a catch in New York's Week 9 loss to the Steelers.
Randle's three targets were two more than Domenik Hixon drew, but New York's second-round pick still didn't come close to making an impact. Now held catch-less in six of nine games this season, it's hard to see Randle coming into any redraft-league appeal down the stretch.

Sun Oct 28 201220:56Rueben Randle has two-catch day in win
Rueben Randle caught two passes for 68 yards in New York's Week 8 win over the Cowboys.
Randle tacked on major YAC on a 56-yard grab on New York's third play from scrimmage, but finished with only two targets. Today was just the third time through the Giants' first eight games Randle made a catch. He's not yet on the redraft-league radar.

Thu Oct 18 201217:14Ramses Barden played no offense in Week 6
Giants rookie WR Rueben Randle didn't play an offensive snap in the Week 6 win over the 49ers.
Randle has settled back in as New York's No. 5 receiver, behind Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz, Domenik Hixon, and Ramses Barden. Randle is brimming with talent, but he's just a Dynasty stash who would need multiple injuries ahead of him on the depth chart to reemerge as a re-draft league factor for 2012.

Wed Oct 3 201220:23Randle's work ethic questioned by Giants?
On Week 4 Sunday Night Football against the Eagles, NBC's Cris Collinsworth mentioned that Rueben Randle's "work ethic" has been an issue so far as a rookie with the Giants.
Collinsworth is one of the top color analysts in all of sports, and we doubt he pulled this out of his rear. "Randle's work ethic has been questioned a bit with the Giants," Collinsworth said. "They're hoping that he grows up as he goes along and starts becoming a bit more of a pro." It's quite possible that the Giants are internally a bit discouraged that Randle hasn't passed Ramses Barden or Domenik Hixon, although his snaps have increased steadily. He'll likely be their third receiver in Week 5.

Thu Sep 20 201215:19Randle to play behind Barden in Week 3
ESPN New York suspects Rueben Randle and Jerrel Jernigan will split No. 3 receiver duties versus the Panthers with Hakeem Nicks sidelined.
Victor Cruz is expected to remain in the slot in three-wide sets, which would leave Ramses Barden and either Randle or Jernigan outside. Barden played 47 snaps to Randle's three last week. If forced to choose between the two, we would play Barden in Week 3.

Thu Sep 6 201200:35Rueben Randle not part of Giants offense yet
Giants rookie WR Rueben Randle was not targeted in Wednesday night's NFL opener against the Cowboys.
Randle has a major talent edge on Domenik Hixon, but OC Kevin Gilbride trusts the veteran more. The rookie didn't appear to play a single offensive snap against Dallas. Randle will need to improve on the practice field to overtake Hixon. We suspect it will happen eventually, but it's not imminent.

Fri Jun 22 201209:22Rueben Randle still figuring out the pro game
Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride said rookie WR Rueben Randle is still figuring out the pro game.
It's an interesting comment considering Randle was pegged as "NFL ready" coming out of LSU. "There is so much thinking going on. You can see it slows him down." Randle will get plenty of reps at training camp while Hakeem Nicks (foot) rehabs. We'll only be concerned if Randle is still tentative in mid-August.
