Turbin had 10 carries for 38 yards in Sunday's 35-6 win over the Cardinals.

Turbin got a surprising amount of playing time in the first quarter, as Marshawn Lynch was sidelined by stomach issues. Once Lynch was good to go, Turbin worked in his usual role spelling the four-time Pro Bowler. Christine Michael chipped in with eight carries for just 28 yards, while Lynch impressively posted a 10-113-1 rushing line, showing no signs of being ill. Turbin and Michael will continue to work behind Lynch in Week 17 against the Rams, as Seattle can clinch the No. 1 seed with a victory but still isn't assured of winning the NFC West.

Turbin had five carries for 35 yards and caught 1-of-2 targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 30-24 win against the Raiders.

Turbin has recently been seeing time at fullback, with a season-ending injury to Derrick Coleman (foot), but no matter, he's not likely to put up big fantasy numbers, as long as Marshawn Lynch is healthy.

Turbin (shoulder) is listed as active Sunday in Carolina.

After Derrick Coleman (foot) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Turbin is the Seahawks' acting fullback for a second week in a row. While the increased usage last Sunday didn't result in much production -- two carries for seven yards and three catches (on four targets) for 24 yards -- he could profit from a Panthers defense that has surrendered 5.3 YPC and 10 scores to opposing running backs in 2014.

Turbin (shoulder) is probable for Sunday's game against Carolina.

Turbin has practiced all week, including two full practices to finish up the week, so he's at or near full strength for his usual off-the-bench role behind workhorse Marshawn Lynch.

Turbin practiced fully Thursday, the Everett Herald reports.

Coleman is out 4-to-6 weeks, and because the Seahawks have yet to ink a FB, owners should expect Turbin to act as the lead blocker out of the backfield Sunday at Carolina.

Turbin held off Christine Michael in training camp to back up Marshawn Lynch. Michael, who has a hamstring injury, was inactive Thursday. The Seahawks might want to go easy on Lynch, who had 20 carries, later in the season. If so, that would benefit Turbin. Until then, he's not likely to see more opportunities than what he had Thursday.

Turbin gained 26 yards on six carries and four yards on one reception in Friday's preseason game against the Bears.

While not as naturally gifted as Christine Michael, Turbin has seemingly done more than enough to keep the second spot on the depth chart. In the event of a Marshawn Lynch injury, the Seahawks might opt to have Turbin and Michael split the workload. You could make a case for either player as the preferred handcuff to Lynch, but Turbin's the safer choice.

Turbin ran for 81 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries in Friday's preseason game against the Chargers.

Turbin handled most of the first-team work and played well, but Christine Michael was also a factor with the starters. While his long run of 47 yards was largely due to good blocking and poor defense, Turbin still helped his odds in the battle to back-up Marshawn Lynch, who sat out Friday's game. Michael also ran well, but he fumbled for the second game in a row.

Starting in place of Marshawn Lynch, Turbin gained five yards on four carries in Thursday's preseason opener against the Broncos.

Turbin added three yards on one reception, while Christine Michael had 12 yards on three receptions and 16 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Turbin got the first few carries, but Michael closed out the first-team offense's final drive with a slew of touches, including a one-yard touchdown plunge. Now that Marshawn Lynch is back with the team, Turbin and Michael are competing for whatever touches might be left. If Lynch were to suffer an injury, his two backups would likely split the workload. Michael has gotten most of the hype over the last few months, after Turbin gained just 264 yards on 77 carries (3.4 YPC) last season.

Robert Turbin underwent a knee scope during the offseason, but has fully recovered.

It's notable because Turbin suffered a serious knee injury at Utah State. He's practicing at OTAs without limitations. Through two NFL seasons, Turbin has established himself as a reliable, James Starksian backup. He's third in line for carries behind Marshawn Lynch and Christine Michael.

Robert Turbin managed 25 yards on nine carries in Super Bowl 48.

Third-down back Turbin was held without a touch until he gained three on a third-quarter carry. He busted a long fourth-quarter run down the left sideline, but it was negated by a hold at the line of scrimmage. Most of Turbin's carries came in garbage time of the blowout win. Although the Seahawks value Turbin's pass-blocking ability, he's not as physically gifted as Christine Michael and likely won't be a recommended 2014 handuff for Marshawn Lynch.

Turbin has managed just six touches in Seattle's two playoff games. He'll be called on to throw only two or three changeups at the Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.

Turbin wasn't targeted in the passing game. He had a 37-yard run called back by a holding penalty. Turbin won't do more than change the pace in next week's championship game.

Turbin appeared to just drop the ball on his kickoff return as his bulging biceps got in the way. We'll see if it's him or Christine Michael backing up Marshawn Lynch in Week 17. Michael was active for this one, but didn't get a touch either.
