Sun Dec 8 201320:40Robert Turbin rushes only twice in loss
Robert Turbin rushed twice for 12 yards in Seattle's Week 14 loss to the 49ers.
Turbin wasn't targeted in the passing game. The carries were Turbin's fewest in eight games. Turbin could see an uptick in touches as the Seahawks look to start getting Marshawn Lynch some rest in Weeks 16 and 17, but there's no reason to own him in re-draft leagues.

Tue Dec 3 201300:22Turbin totes it 11 times for 34 yards in win
Robert Turbin rushed for 34 yards on 11 carries in Week 13 versus New Orleans.
The 11 totes are the most Turbin has seen in a game this season; his previous high was eight. Marshawn Lynch rested for most of the fourth quarter with the Seahawks up 34-7, allowing Turbin to soak up some reps. After 12 games, the second-year back is on pace to rush for just 273 scoreless yards on 78 carries. He received more work as a rookie. Turbin isn't on the re-draft radar.

Sun Oct 6 201317:04Robert Turbin goes for 14 yards in Week 5
Robert Turbin rushed four times for 14 yards in the Seahawks' Week 5 loss to the Colts.
He worked as the change-of-pace back behind Marshawn Lynch, who had 107 total yards on 18 touches. Turbin has limited fantasy value because Christine Michael would be the favorite for carries if Lynch ever suffered an injury.

Mon Sep 16 201301:32Turbin sees change-of-pace work behind Lynch
Robert Turbin rushed six times for 31 yards in Week 2 against the 49ers.
Turbin was the clear-cut backup to Marshawn Lynch with Christine Michael a healthy inactive. He was used in a change-of-pace role, but saw limited offensive snaps. Turbin is the preferred handcuff to Lynch, but doesn't have much standalone fantasy value.

Sun Sep 8 201317:26Turbin clearly the No. 2 back in Seattle Wk 1
Robert Turbin operated as the Seahawks' No. 2 running back in the Week 1 opener against the Panthers, totaling 30 yards on five touches.
Rookie Christine Michael didn't even see the field. Turbin didn't shine in preseason action, but the Seahawks trust him. Michael will get a chance to overtake Turbin at some point. Turbin is the clear backup to Marshawn Lynch for now.

Thu Aug 29 201312:09Robert Turbin falling behind Michael
Beat writer Danny O'Neil says there will be a "pretty fierce competition" to see who gets more carries between Robert Turbin and Christine Michael this season.

Fri Aug 23 201323:56Turbin effective in Seahawks 3rd preseason gm
Robert Turbin rushed 10 times for 50 yards and caught four passes for 22 yards in the Seahawks' third preseason game.
Although he's been outplayed by rookie Christine Michael as a ball carrier, Turbin is hardly a slouch. He's got 85 yards on 19 preseason carries (4.47 YPC) and will open the season as the Seahawks' third-down back. In the event of a Lynch injury, we suspect Michael would handle most early-down work with Turbin playing in the passing game. Michael is the preferred re-draft stash.

Sun Aug 4 201316:26Seahawks activate Turbin from PUP
Seahawks activated RB Robert Turbin from the active/PUP list.
He missed just over a week of training camp with foot soreness that had plagued Turbin since the offseason program. Meantime, rookie Christine Michael has been putting on a show in Seahawks camp. Pete Carroll subscribes to the best-competitor-will-play approach as much or more than any coach in the league. This is an open camp battle, and Michael has a big talent edge on Turbin.

Thu Aug 1 201322:36Carroll: Robert Turbin should return soon
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is hopeful Robert Turbin (foot) will come off the active/PUP list next week.
"Turbo's got a chance to get back next week sometime," Carroll said. "For sure within two weeks. He's running now, he's working out hard." With Turbin out, rookie Christine Michael has dominated second-team reps behind Marshawn Lynch. Michael is more talented than Turbin and could win the No. 2 tailback job.

Thu Jul 25 201321:28Seahawks place Robert Turbin on active/PUP
Seahawks placed RB Robert Turbin (foot) on the active/PUP list.
Coach Pete Carroll said the team has been monitoring soreness in Turbin's foot since the offseason program. It doesn't sound like a long-term concern. "He feels fine, doesn't feel it at all," Carroll assured. "But again we're just taking every precaution at this early time." Turbin is day to day.

Tue Jul 23 201309:17Robert Turbin to be third-down back
Robert Turbin is expected to be the Seahawks' third-down back this season.
With Leon Washington gone and Marshawn Lynch a two-down back, the job is Turbin's to lose. However, it's not a high-upside gig. Washington managed just 27 touches from scrimmage last year despite playing in all 16 games. Lynch owners looking for insurance would be better off with Christine Michael, a more talented inside runner than Turbin.

Sun Dec 30 201223:06Turbin musters up seven yds on three touches
Robert Turbin totaled seven yards on three touches in Sunday's Week 17 win over the Rams.
Turbin rushed the ball two times but lost five yards on the carries. He gained 12 yards on one catch out of the backfield. The St. Louis run defense has held their own much more down the stretch of the season, so there wasn't a whole lot of running room unless your name was Marshawn Lynch. Turbin, a fourth-round pick out of Utah State, wraps up his rookie campaign with 354 yards on 80 carries. He'll remain the backup to Lynch next weekend when the No. 5 seed Seahawks travel on the road to take on the NFC East winners in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

Mon Dec 24 201200:14Turbin piles up 58 yards on five touches
Robert Turbin rushed three times for 38 yards in Seattle's Week 16 waxing of the 49ers, adding two catches for 20 yards.
The game was a full-on blowout for the entire second half, but Turbin could earn just five touches after combining for 31 in Weeks 14 and 15. He also committed one of the only mistakes the Seahawks made all night, tipping a Russell Wilson screen pass to Patrick Willis for an interception. Turbin remains one of the league's most promising young running backs, but it could be a while before it translates to serious fantasy value with Marshawn Lynch in the middle of his prime.

Thu Dec 20 201220:18Turbin limited on Thursday with illness
Robert Turbin (illness) was limited in practice on Thursday.
It's likely not a big deal. Turbin should be good to go for Week 16 against the 49ers. He shouldn't see any more than 5-8 touches on Sunday night.

Sun Dec 9 201219:33Robert Turbin impresses in mop-up duty
Robert Turbin rushed 20 times for 108 yards in the Seahawks' Week 14 thrashing of the Cardinals.
Marshawn Lynch dealt with some minor back tightness in the first half, but Turbin did most of his damage after the Seahawks' starters were rested in the second half. They took the foot off the gas pedal after the initial drive in the third quarter netted a 45-0 lead. Still, Turbin flashed the kind of speed and burst we thought he had en route to his first career 100-yard day. He's a must-own for Lynch owners and a worthwhile stash for others too. If Lynch were to miss a game, Turbin would be a borderline RB1.

Sun Nov 25 201216:14Robert Turbin shows great burst
Robert Turbin rushed two times for nine yards and added three catches for 47 yards in the Seahawks' Week 12 loss to the Dolphins.
Playing on every third down, Turbin showed really well. He has tremendous burst to the edge with the ball in his hands and is willing to stick his nose in there on pass protection. Marshawn Lynch owners must practice proper handcuffing strategy here.

Sun Nov 11 201219:37Turbin rushes 7 times for 17 yards
Seahawks rookie RB Robert Turbin rushed seven times for 17 yards in the team's Week 10 win over the Jets.
Turbin didn't get much going on the ground against New York, but he's still clearly the Seahawks' No. 2 back, ahead of Leon Washington (two carries, 1-yard). Marshawn Lynch owners should have Turbin rostered for the stretch run, and it wouldn't be a bad idea for non-Lynch owners to pick him up, as well. Turbin would be an every-week RB2 in the event of a Marshawn injury.
