Sun Oct 10 2010 | 18:52 | FB Earnest Graham rumbles for 65 yards, TD |
Bucs' FB Earnest Graham ran three times for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' Week 5 win at Cincinnati. |
Graham had a second-quarter 61-yard run up the middle before he was caught from behind by CB Leon Hall, and scored on a one-yard fullback dive on first and goal after the Bengals were hit with a pass interference call. With Cadillac Williams fading as a featured back, we wouldn't be surprised to see Graham get a few more carries moving forward, but he won't be rosterable as part of a RBBC in Tampa Bay. |
Fri Oct 8 2010 | 12:12 | Graham not expecting increased workload |
Earnest Graham in not expecting an increased workload as a tailback with Erik Lorig and Chris Pressly now in the picture as lead blockers. |
"I don't have a sense about anything," Graham said. "I know things change. [LeGarrette] Blount looked good. You've got to find a way to get him some carries." Now 30 years old and never an elite talent, Graham is poor bet to establish even flex value this season. |

Sun Sep 19 2010 | 18:14 | Earnest Graham catches 5 for 33 |
Earnest Graham ran for just one yard on three carries, but caught five passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in Week 2. |
Graham continues to be used as the Bucs' No. 2 tailback, although Kareem Huggins was inactive for this one due to injury. Should something happen to Cadillac Williams, Graham would likely move into the lead back role while losing some changeup work to Huggins. They're both rosterable in deep leagues. |
Tue Jun 1 2010 | 13:42 | Graham working as starting fullback |
Earnest Graham is working as the starting fullback in this week's OTAs. |
Consider the position change complete. Graham is expected to open the season as the lead-blocker for Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward. He believes he can catch "50 or 60" passes this season. Only eight backs reached 50 receptions last year, and we don't see Graham coming close to joining that group in 2010. |
