Tue Jul 12 202223:18Jonathan Kuminga Has Another Strong Showing
Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga finished Tuesday's Summer League loss to Boston with a game-high 29 points. The 19-year-old added two boards, one steal, and one block. However, he had another subpar shooting performance, going 11-for-22 from the field while sinking two of his seven tries from deep. Nonetheless, with Otto Porter Jr. now in Toronto, Kuminga should receive additional minutes this season. He likely won't see consistent work, although he will probably get more than a handful of starting opportunities in 2022-23.

Sun Jul 10 202222:18Jonathan Kuminga Leads The Way In Win
Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga finished with a game-high 28 points during the narrow win over the San Antonio Spurs. He also added seven boards, four assists, and a block. Despite his scoring effort, Kuminga had issues finding his shot on Sunday night by collectively going 10-for-22 from the field, 1-for-7 from deep, and a hideous 7-for-18 from the charity stripe. Nonetheless, with Otto Porter Jr. now in Toronto, Kuminga should see more minutes in 2022-23. He'll need some additional development, but the 19-year-old appears well on his way to establishing himself as a solid rotational piece for the Dubs moving ahead. Yet, he likely won't be an everyday producer for fantasy managers.

Mon Feb 14 202215:07Jonathan Kuminga To Start Again On Monday
Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga will make his third straight start during Monday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. He is averaging 17.5 points per game with seven rebounds in his last two starts. Kuminga should continue starting with Draymond Green (knee) on the sideline. Fantasy managers should check the waiver wire and see if Kuminga is available. He should continue to be a solid fantasy option until Green returns.

Sun Dec 19 202110:01Jonathan Kuminga Scores Career-High 26 Points
Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga racked up a career-high 26 points on 9-for-15 shooting in Saturday's losing effort against Toronto, going 4-for-6 from three-point range. He notched one rebound and posted two assists and two steals but also had six turnovers in 36 minutes. The Congolese rookie made his first career start here after the Warriors rested a number of players. It was a great opportunity for the fringe players to step up and Kuminga impressed the most. Golden State will now go for a while without a back-to-back set, which will likely drop Kuminga back to the bench, but he could make noise again at some point during the season when head coach Steve Kerr decides to go with his bench players.

Tue Dec 14 202113:21Jonathan Kuminga Could See More Minutes
Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga has been brilliant and deserves more playing time, according to head coach Steve Kerr. It has been tough for the rookie forward to carve out a consistent role for himself. That being said, Kuminga hasn't been much of a fantasy option, but that could be changing soon. It's worth noting that Klay Thompson (Achilles) will be returning to the court soon. Despite that, it sounds like Kerr is committed to getting Kuminga more involved. He is certainly worth monitoring on the waiver wire right now.
