Sat Nov 2 201319:15Luke Ridnour still out on Saturday
Luke Ridnour (back) is still out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Raptors.
He doesn't have a timetable to return and the team sent him back to Milwaukee to have his back checked out. Coincidentally, Ridnour dealt with back problems in November 2012, but it wasn't serious. He should be considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Cavs. Nate Wolters will start Saturday and Brandon Knight looks to be healthier than Ridnour.

Fri Nov 1 201310:24Luke Ridnour sent home for tests on back
Luke Ridnour was sent back to Milwaukee on Thursday to have his back evaluated by team doctors, leaving him highly doubtful to play on Friday.
He hasn't officially been ruled out, but it looks like we're heading in that direction. With Brandon Knight also out on Friday with a hamstring injury, Gary Neal and Nate Wolters will handle the point guard duties. We're guessing Neal will start, but that hasn't been decided yet by the Bucks.

Thu Oct 31 201314:17Luke Ridnour (back) doubtful for Friday
Luke Ridnour (back) is listed as doubtful for Friday's game vs. Boston.
With Brandon Knight (hamstring) also banged up, primary PG duties will fall to Nate Wolters, with Gary Neal and O.J. Mayo also handling the ball. Ridnour remains day-to-day.

Thu Oct 31 201302:44Luke Ridnour (back) will have further testing
Luke Ridnour (back) will go through further evaluation while traveling with the team to Boston.
The Bucks are in trouble with Brandon Knight going down on Wednesday, so they're certainly hoping the tests on Ridnour go well. If he's able to get cleared, he'd be worth a start in most leagues against the Celtics. If he and Knight can't go, Nate Wolters will draw the unlikely start.

Wed Oct 30 201319:03Luke Ridnour (back) out on Wednesday
Luke Ridnour will miss Wednesday's game due to a sore back.
That means more minutes for Brandon Knight and it also means that Nate Wolters should see some minutes off the bench. Ridnour is day-to-day.

Thu Oct 24 201301:01Luke Ridnour double-doubles in win
Luke Ridnour had 18 points, four rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and two 3-pointers on 6-of-9 shooting in Wednesday's win over the Knicks.
It's not a coincidence that Brandon Knight sat this one out with a hamstring injury that we're considering minor. But it is nice to know that Ridnour still has this kind of game in him when he needs it.

Wed Jul 10 201321:10Luke Ridnour traded to Bucks for cap space
The Timberwolves agreed to trade Luke Ridnour to the Bucks on Wednesday.
The Wolves had to make a move to clear out cap space in order to bring on Corey Brewer. Ridnour spent two seasons with the Bucks from 2008-2010, starting 50 of the 154 games. He will be the backup point guard for likely Brandon Jennings or Jeff Teague. The 32-year-old guard could also get some minutes at shooting guard and should have low-level value in deeper leagues while his team is healthy.

Sun Apr 14 201310:13Adelman: Wolves badly need starting SG
Rick Adelman stressed the importance of the Wolves' adding a starting-caliber SG this summer.
"It's too hard to play point guards at that spot," said Adelman. "Luke [Ridnour] is overmatched all the time playing bigger two-guards.We have to find a way to get more size there." Brandon Roy's chronically damaged knees make his return unlikely, and it sounds like Minnesota will address their need via free agency or a trade.

Sat Apr 6 201323:01Luke Ridnour shoots 1-of-6 in 20 minutes
Veteran guard Luke Ridnour made just 1-of-6 shots vs. Detroit, finishing with five points in 20 minutes.
He added three assists and two steals but his playing time was dampened by his own poor play and the red-hot shooting of J.J. Barea (20 points). If you own Ridnour, single-digit duds are simply part of the equation.

Tue Apr 2 201300:10Luke Ridnour quiet in win over Celtics
Luke Ridnour hit just 1-of-7 shots for two points, one assist and two steals in 20 minutes of Monday's win over Boston.
J.J. Barea scored 11 and Alexey Shved had nine points tonight off the bench, but as long as Ridnour is starting, he's the most reliable of this bunch. Ridnour had just seven points in his previous game, but had scored between 11 and 15 in the three leading up to that one.

Tue Mar 26 201322:39Luke Ridnour scores 15 in easy Wolves win
Luke Ridnour hit 6-of-7 shots and two 3-pointers for 15 points, three assists and three steals in another start on Tuesday.
He still appears to be locked and loaded into the starting shooting guard job and likely would have played more minutes tonight had the Wolves not been up more than 20 heading into the fourth quarter. With the Wolves' great schedule, Ridnour is worth a look in many leagues despite his inconsistency.

Sat Mar 23 201301:32Ridnour goes for 12 and seven vs. Suns
Luke Ridnour scored 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting (no threes) with two rebounds and seven assists in Friday's blowout win against the Suns.
Ridnour logged 30 minutes and by that measure his role appears to be safe, but with Chase Budinger returning it could crowd things on the wings. As a borderline play in 12-team formats, he's worth owning due to the Wolves' strong schedule but he's not a must-own player.

Fri Mar 1 201301:26Luke Ridnour has a nice game Thursday
Luke Ridnour shot 7-of-10 from the field for 19 points during Thursday's 116-94 loss to the Lakers, adding one board, four assists, one steal, three blocks and two 3-pointers.
He turned in a nice February with averages of 13 points, 0.9 triples and 1.0 steals. Ridnour played 32 minutes per game in his last 12 games and he's locked as a key role player for Minnesota. Alexey Shved had a 1-of-8 shooting performance for just five points in 20 minutes and has clearly lost most of his luster.

Tue Feb 19 201313:36Report: Luke Ridnour not being shopped
A source told Yahoo! Sports that the Wolves are not shopping Luke Ridnour, contrary to previous reports.
The Wolves have a wealth of point guards now that everyone is healthy, and while they'd love to find a taker for one, it's not that simple. They'll explore the market all the way through the deadline.

Fri Feb 15 201315:30Report: Knicks have interest in Luke Ridnour
A source tells 1500 ESPN that the Knicks are "one of several teams" with interest in Luke Ridnour.
Ridnour is widely considered one of the players most likely to be moved by Thursday's deadline. This is the second time he's been linked to the Knicks while the Jazz, Celtics and Sixers could also show interest. If Ridnour lands in New York, he'll be taking a massive hit in minutes and shot opportunities while playing behind Raymond Felton.

Thu Feb 14 201300:52Luke Ridnour scores 18 points in loss
Luke Ridnour stayed hot on Wednesday with 18 points, three rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers on 7-of-15 shooting.
Ridnour has hit double digits in six straight games as the team's starting shooting guard, and is averaging 17.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.0 steals and a 3-pointer on 56 percent shooting over his last five games. He also hasn't missed a free throw since Jan. 13, but is a serious trade candidate, which would free up Alexey Shved to take over the starting SG duties in Minnesota, while also potentially killing Ridnour's value, depending on where he lands. Shved failed to score tonight in just 11 minutes, and Ridnour remains a must-own player for now. But owners have to be ready for a potential trade to go down, which would likely make Shved a strong pickup if it happens.

Wed Feb 13 201314:41Report: Knicks interested in Luke Ridnour
A source tells HoopsWorld's Alex Kennedy that the Knicks have expressed interest in Timberwolves PG Luke Ridnour.
Ridnour has also been linked to the Jazz, although the Knicks are an interesting option. Despite adding three point guards in the offseason, the Knicks could use a PG to help spell Raymond Felton while not overtaxing Jason Kidd. Obviously, this wouldn't exactly boost Ridnour's trade value. Owners should take this report, as with all trade rumors, with a very large grain of salt and should continue to deploy Ridnour while he's hot.

Tue Feb 12 201300:38Ridnour keeps his foot on the gas vs. CLE
Luke Ridnour kept his foot on the gas with 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds, three assists, and one steal in Monday's win over the Cavs.
Ridnour has been on fire lately and it's certainly possible that the Wolves are encouraging him to enhance his trade value. He has been linked to the Jazz, which would be a beneficial landing spot, and regardless he should be owned right now while he is hot.

Sat Feb 9 201302:58Ridnour scores 20 points on Friday
Luke Ridnour scored 20 points on 9-of-15 shooting (no threes) with two rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 36 minutes on Friday against the Knicks.
Ridnour hasn't been a consistent asset lately but it's possible the Wolves give him extra run so he can enhance his trade value. Give him a look and hope that if you pick him up he gets traded to a less crowded situation.

Fri Feb 8 201308:38Luke Ridnour for Raja Bell swap brewing?
ESPN 1500 reports that a potential trade sending Luke Ridnour to the Jazz would likely include disgruntled veteran Raja Bell.
Bell has been exiled by the Jazz all season, and although the two sides were believed to be negotiating a buyout, there have been no reports of progress between the two sides. Bell would give the Timberwolves help at shooting guard, and it wouldn't surprise us to see Minny move one of its spare point guards with all of the injuries the team has incurred this year.
