Sat Oct 16 201000:12Daniels catches fire in rare start for C's
Marquis Daniels hit 5-of-9 shots and 2-of-2 3-pointers on his way to 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in a start for a resting Paul Pierce on Friday.
Daniels looked great tonight and appears to be the sixth man for the Celtics. He's got multi-cat skills, but would probably need an injury to a teammate to have any real value.

Marquis Daniels hit a go-ahead 3-point shot with 35.4 seconds left to lift the Celtics over the Nets by the score of 96-92 in Thursday's preseason game.
He finished with nine points on 4-of-8 shooting (including a three) to go with four rebounds in 30 minutes of action. He can back up both guard positions and the SF position, but isn't worth a look in anything but the deepest of leagues.

The Celtics have officially re-signed swingman Marquis Daniels.
Daniels had a disappointing first season in Boston, due partly to a thumb injury that required surgery. He provides some affordable versatility off the bench, however, and could be asked to step up if Ray Allen or Paul Pierce get injured.

Thu Apr 29 201008:42Daniels could get minutes for Celtics
Marquis Daniels appeared in just one of five first-round games for the Celtics, but could be called upon to guard LeBron James in the Eastern Semifinals.
Daniels played just six minutes in a Game 2 blowout, but has a nice history of defending LeBron James. Of course, Daniels isn't going to be able to shut LeBron down by himself, but will be likely called upon for a much bigger role in this series.

Coach Doc Rivers said that Marquis Daniels and Nate Robinson are out of the rotation.
