Sebastian Telfair left Memphis to attend to a family matter and he will not play vs. the Grizzlies on Tuesday.

Telfair is expected to rejoin the team in time for Thursday's home game vs. the Mavericks. In the meantime, Goran Dragic should finally play heavy minutes, and rookie Diante Garrett may actually crack the rotation at backup PG.

But if Nash is out for that one, Telfair would be a sneaky add in fantasy.

Both of them deserve consideration as spot-starters, though in a game like this it will be a crapshoot as to who will gobble up all the remaining minutes.

Telfair tried to take Beaubois' head off after taking a hard foul himself just plays before, and will likely receive a suspension from the league. Regardless, he had no fantasy value.
