Tue Dec 4 201214:51Sebastian Telfair won't play vs. Grizzlies
Sebastian Telfair left Memphis to attend to a family matter and he will not play vs. the Grizzlies on Tuesday.
Telfair is expected to rejoin the team in time for Thursday's home game vs. the Mavericks. In the meantime, Goran Dragic should finally play heavy minutes, and rookie Diante Garrett may actually crack the rotation at backup PG.

Sat Nov 17 201205:19Telfair plays nine minutes on Friday
Sebastian Telfair played nine minutes on Friday, scoring four points with two assists and a steal.
Telfair had put up some modest lines recently, but this pretty much slams the door shut on any fantasy value.

Sat Nov 10 201205:14Telfair shows up with solid line off bench
Sebastian Telfair surprised off the bench on Friday, scoring 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting (including two threes) with five rebounds and four assists in 22 minutes.
Telfair is the clear backup to Goran Dragic and Kendall Marshall has a long ways to go before he can be trusted with anything but spot minutes. Telfair isn't going to break free like this too much, but it's worth noting that Alvin Gentry played Dragic at SG a bit tonight to get Telfair onto the floor. Still, we need to see more in the majority of formats.

Mon Oct 15 201216:32Suns' Telfair returns to practice Monday
Suns' back up point guard Sebastian Telfair returned from a sprained ankle and participated in Monday's practice.
He's also dealing with a sore shoulder and wrist, but is going to play through his problems. But as long as Goran Dragic and Kendall Marshall are healthy, Telfair's not going to get a chance to make much noise.

Sat Oct 13 201214:40Telfair sidelined Friday by sprained ankle
Sebastian Telfair sat out Friday's game with a sprained ankle.
Telfair has already dealt with wrist and shoulder injuries, and he's losing valuable time to prove that he deserves to play more minutes than rookie Kendall Marshall. As long as Goran Dragic is healthy, however, neither Telfair nor Marshall are worth owning in fantasy leagues.

Fri Oct 12 201212:21Sebastian Telfair dealing with bruised wrist
Sebastian Telfair (wrist, shoulder) is expected to play on Friday.
Telfair did not play on wednesday due to a left wrist bruise and said that his shoulder was bothering him on Thursday, but neither injury is serious enough for him to miss another preseason game, so it doesn't sound like a major concern at all.

Tue Apr 17 201205:06Telfair scores 12 points with low-end line
Sebastian Telfair scored 12 points on 6-of-12 shooting with three rebounds and three assists in 21 minutes on Monday.
Steve Nash (hip) played and looked good, and was able to get an early rest with the Suns in control of the game throughout. Telfair won't have any real fantasy value with Nash at the controls, but if anything were to happen then he has proven he can put up numbers lately.

Sun Apr 15 201200:21Sebastian Telfair has big game as Nash sits
Sebastian Telfair had 21 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block on 9-of-21 shooting in 31 minutes on Saturday.
Steve Nash was benched after just six minutes with a tweaked back, as the Suns were drilled 35-13 in the first quarter. They're still in the playoff hunt so we expect Nash's minutes to return to normal on Monday (if he's healthy), meaning Telfair may not do this again. But if Nash is out for that one, Telfair would be a sneaky add in fantasy.

Thu Mar 15 201222:30Telfair, Brown starting for Suns on Thursday
Sebastian Telfair and Shannon Brown will start for resting Steve Nash and Grant Hill on Thursday against the Clippers.
Both of them deserve consideration as spot-starters, though in a game like this it will be a crapshoot as to who will gobble up all the remaining minutes.

Tue Jan 24 201204:59Telfair ejected after flagrant foul-2 on Mon
Sebastian Telfair was ejected from Monday's game after committing a flagrant-2 foul against Roddy Beaubois.
Telfair tried to take Beaubois' head off after taking a hard foul himself just plays before, and will likely receive a suspension from the league. Regardless, he had no fantasy value.

Sun Dec 11 201120:39Telfair signs with Suns
The Suns have signed point guard Sebastian Telfair.
This was rumored for quite some time and could be a nice move for the Suns as an organization. It doesn't change Telfair's fantasy impact much as he is still behind Steve Nash and Zabian Dowdell.

Wed Dec 7 201119:27Sebastian Telfair leaning toward Suns
Free agent guard Sebastian Telfair is leaning toward signing with the Suns.
This rumor might have legs, if anything, because Phoenix has a lot of minutes to fill at their wings and more questions than answers. Grant Hill has yet to commit, leaving Jared Dudley, Mickael Pietrus, and Josh Childress as the Suns' only options. We'd add Telfair to the bottom of that list if he signs in the Valley of the Sun.

Thu Dec 1 201122:47Jazz exploring Telfair, Mason, and Butler
The Jazz have expressed "initial exploratory interest" in free agents Sebastian Telfair, Rasual Butler, and Roger Mason.
The Jazz apparently are content with their roster for the most part, and are looking for veterans to fill around their young squad. Raja Bell would appear to be the favorite for backup shooting guard duties, but may be available for trade, and these could be the pieces the Jazz are looking at to replace him.

Sebastian Telfair is expected to sign a deal to play with the Jiangsu Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association.
If this does indeed happen, Telfair likely wouldn't be able to return to the NBA for the duration of his CBA deal. The 26-year-old averaged 7.2 points and 3.0 assists for Minnesota last year.

Fri Sep 16 201110:21Sebastian Telfair wants to be a contender
Sebastian Telfair, an unrestricted free agent, says that he hopes to sign with a contender next season.
"Seeing Dallas win a championship...I'm extremely jealous," said Telfair. "It's not a bad thing in this league to want to go where the gold is." In his seven-year NBA career he's never made the playoffs and has averaged just 39% shooting overall, including 31% from downtown.

Telfair looks like he will be available tonight, but hasn't even sniffed the court since March 9 anyway.

Sat Apr 2 201112:53Telfair out Saturday w/ flu
Sebastian Telfair didn't travel with the Wolves for Saturday's game in Memphis.
This is good news for the Grizzlies but basically irrelevant for fantasy owners, as Telfair isn't offering value in Minnesota. Consider him questionable for Tuesday at New Jersey.

Sat Mar 5 201102:06Telfair (flu) suits up for action on Friday
Sebastian Telfair (flu) was in uniform and active for Friday's game but did not play.
We're marking him on active on our end, as well, as he is ready to go should anything happen to Luke Ridnour or Jonny Flynn.

Fri Mar 4 201111:33Telfair iffy w/ illness
Sebastian Telfair sat out of the Wolves' shootaround on Friday due to illness.
Telfair is iffy to play vs. Philly tonight, though his absence shouldn't have any fantasy impact -- he's buried behind Luke Ridnour and Jonny Flynn.
