Sat Feb 12 201101:20Telfair steps in with Flynn, Ridnour out
Sebastian Telfair played 24 minutes on Friday with Luke Ridnour (personal) out and Jonny Flynn (groin) leaving during the fourth quarter, scoring eight points on 2-of-7 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, four assists, and one steal.
He is somebody to watch as a pick-and-play if Flynn and Ridnour remain out, and he has actually been productive in his limited minutes recently. If either of them return, however, his value will be close to nil.
Sun Jan 2 201100:11Telfair (foot) plays on Saturday vs. Nets
Sebastian Telfair (foot) returned to action on Saturday, scoring eight points on 4-of-7 shooting with no rebounds and one assist in 15 minutes off the bench.
He has practically no value as the third string PG in Minnesota. His name has been mentioned in trade rumors with the Knicks, and even then his fantasy outlook is bleak.
Sun Dec 26 201018:26Telfair will play Sunday
Sebastian Telfair will play on Sunday despite his lingering plantar fasciitis.
Telfair may have to rest sporadically, which would be more troubling if he were offering fantasy value in the first place. He isn't, so avoid him.
Thu Dec 23 201015:20Telfair sits out w/ plantar fasciitis
Sebastian Telfair sat out Thursday's practice because of plantar fasciitis.
Telfair has been battling this nagging injury for weeks now. Combined with the return of Jonny Flynn, there is no reason to own him in fantasy leagues. As a reminder, it was reported last week that the Knicks had discussed possibly trading for Telfair as a backup for Raymond Felton.

Wed Dec 15 201009:20Knicks have been talking about Telfair
The Knicks have held "multiple discussions" with the Wolves regarding Sebastian Telfair, according to the New York Times.
This one makes a ton of sense. Now that Jonny Flynn is health, the Wolves have three solid point guards. The Knicks do not have a true backup to Raymond Felton, who is currently playing a career-high 38.6 points per game. It's a perfect match for a trade. Felton owners should not be concerned -- reducing his minutes by a few will allow him to maintain this high level all season.

Tue Dec 14 201011:21Telfair likely gone
Beat writer Jerry Zgoda believes there is a chance Sebastian Telfair will be traded shortly.
Telfair is set to become the No. 3 point guard with Jonny Flynn (hip) expected to make his season debut tonight. As Telfair proved when both Flynn and Luke Ridnour were out earlier this year, he is a very capable backup point guard. Telfair's $2.7 million contract expires after this season.

Sun Dec 5 201000:01Telfair gets 10 points with seven assists
Sebastian Telfair scored 10 points on 3-of-5 shooting (including a three) with no rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in 26 minutes off the bench in Saturday's blowout win.
He wouldn't have gotten this much playing time had the game not been so out of hand, but it is a good sign that he plantar fasciitis could be getting under control. That said, we don't expect him to cut into Luke Ridnour's workload, or what remains of it when Jonny Flynn returns.
Tue Nov 30 201012:37Telfair still dealing with foot soreness
Sebastian Telfair is still dealing with plantar fasciitis.
Telfair's symptoms are apparently getting worse. He's lost his starting job to Luke Ridnour anyway and Jonny Flynn is close to returning. Telfair belongs on waivers in all formats.

Mon Nov 22 201012:50Telfair to start for Wolves again on Monday
Sebastian Telfair will start again for the Wolves on Monday, with Luke Ridnour coming off the bench.
Jonny Flynn isn't ready to play yet and the Wolves' PG situation is messy from a fantasy perspective. Telfair can safely be cut for a more reliable free agent.
Wed Nov 17 201010:14Telfair misses most of Tuesday practice
Sebastian Telfair (ankle, foot) missed most of Tuesday's practice.
Telfair is dealing with a mild case of plantar fasciitis, but has gutted it out as the Wolves' only healthy point guard over the last few games. His status for tonight's game in unknown, but the upside here is gone with Luke Ridnour (hamstring) back and Johnny Flynn (hip) close. Telfair can be dumped for a hot waiver add.

Mon Nov 15 201022:42Telfair goes for 11/6 in last game as only PG
Sebastian Telfair scored 11 points on 5-of-11 shooting with one rebound, one trey, and six assists on Monday.
This is his last game with unchallenged minutes at the PG position, so feel free to drop him.
Sun Nov 14 201013:51Telfair (heel/foot) will start Sunday
Sebastian Telfair will start Sunday's game despite having worn a boot on Saturday to protect his ankle/foot.
If you're a Telfair owner, don't plan on rostering him beyond Monday, as both Luke Ridnour (hamstring) and Jonny Flynn (hip) are scheduled to return to the court Wednesday against the Clippers.

Thu Nov 11 201001:29Telfair getting heavy minutes for Wolves
Tyreke Evans scored 16 points on 8-of-14 shooting with no rebounds and one assist in 40 minutes on Wednesday.
Expect him to continue getting this much run until Luke Ridnour (hamstring) gets back, and by that fact alone he's worth a look for owners needing PG help.
Wed Nov 10 201004:12Telfair has nice line in start for Ridnour
Sebastian Telfair started for injured Luke Ridnour (hamstring) on Tuesday, scoring 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting (including three 3-pointers) with five rebounds, nine assists, and one steal in 39 minutes.
For at least a week, these types of numbers are within reach and if that can help you then go ahead and make the move. Just remember that when Luke Ridnour (hamstring) returns in a week or so, and then Jonny Flynn (hip) after that, his gig is up.
Mon Nov 8 201000:15Telfair could see more minutes going forward
Sebastian Telfair played 20 minutes on Sunday, but managed just seven points, one rebound and one assist while committing five fouls. He was 3-of-8 from the field.
Luke Ridnour started the game, but left in the second quarter after aggravating his hamstring injury. If Ridnour can't go on Tuesday against the Lakers, Telfair would likely draw the start. Wayne Ellington and Maurice Ager would also see some time at the point.
Wed Nov 3 201000:07Telfair gets a look off the bench on Tue
Sebastian Telfair scored 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting with one rebound, one assist, and one steal in 24 minutes off the bench on Tuesday.
He got some extra run tonight with Luke Ridnour (three points, one assist, 17 minutes) struggling and the game well into garbage time. With Jonny Flynn's (hip) return on the horizon, he has practically no chance of having fantasy value.
Thu Oct 28 201001:44Sebastian Telfair returned to action on Wednesday October 27
Sebastian Telfair returned to action on Wednesday October 27.
Tue Oct 26 201014:23Telfair ready to play on Wednesday
Timberwolves PG Sebastian Telfair's shoulder is feeling better and he's ready to play on Wednesday.
Telfair is backing up Luke Ridnour to start the season, but could find himself as the team's third option once Jonny Flynn gets back from his hip injury. He should be left on the waiver wire in all but the deepest leagues.

Thu Oct 21 201019:00Telfair ruled out with shoulder injury
Sebastian Telfair won't play at Milwaukee on Friday due to a shoulder injury.
He didn't travel with the team, but no word on the severity of the injury. He shouldn't have fantasy value this season, unless Luke Ridnour goes down while Jonny Flynn is recovering from hip surgery.

Tue Oct 19 201023:51Sebastian Telfair scores 19 in Wolves loss
Sebastian Telfair had 19 points, six assists and two 3-pointers on 7-of-12 shooting in Tuesday's loss.
Telfair has been quiet but finally got some run tonight. Martell Webster was out with a back injury, and we're guessing that Kurt Rambis simply wanted to take a look at Telfair tonight.
