Wed Jan 30 201323:33Dorell Wright gets off bench Wednesday
Dorell Wright played 16 minutes and had seven points, seven rebounds, five assists and a 3-pointer off the Sixers' bench on Wednesday.
Jason Richardson is on his way to see a knee specialist and Nick Young is the small forward flavor of the moment, but if Wright ever gets minutes, he will so some damage. Just keep an eye on him. He was a DNP-CD in his last two games.

Tue Jan 29 201316:55Dorell Wright falls out of rotation
Dorell Wright has recorded two straight DNP-CDs.
Jason Richardson (knee) has been out, so Wright has been playing behind starting shooting guard Nick Young and backup Damien Wilkins. Yikes. "The guys I'm bringing off the bench, I'm going 2 a little bit more of a defensive mindset," coach Doug Collins said.

Tue Jan 22 201323:25Dorell Wright plays four minutes Tuesday
Dorell Wright didn't score in four minutes of action on Tuesday.
He lost his starting job to Royal Ivey (eight points in 19 minutes), which basically tells you all you need to know about Wright's value. He also committed a dumb foul on Mike Dunleavy for an and-1 layup. He can be cut in just about all leagues. Royal Ivey doesn't have much value and will likely fall off once Jason Richardson can return from his knee injury.

Mon Jan 21 201322:18Dorell Wright stinks in loss Monday
Dorell Wright started for the injured Jason Richardson (knee) scored just three points with four rebounds and three assists in only 16 minutes on Monday.
He gave way to Nick Young and Wright really squandered a chance on Monday. In his seven previous starts this season, Wright averaged 13.4 points, 5.4 boards and 2.3 triples, so he might be able to turn it around next time out. He's worth a look and we'll see how he fares against the Bucks on Tuesday.

Tue Jan 15 201321:49Dorell Wright goes for 7-6-6 in loss
Dorell Wright came off the bench for seven points, six rebounds, six assists and a 3-pointer on 2-of-6 shooting in 26 minutes on Tuesday.
Jason Richardson is still starting, but Wright is seeing a couple more minutes per game lately. But any way you slice it, this is a true timeshare between the two players, and will probably stay that way for as long as J-Rich is healthy. And that means that both players are going to struggle with consistency, although we still trust Wright a little more than Richardson right now. J-Rich had five points, three boards, two assists and a 3-pointer in 20 minutes tonight.

Wed Jan 9 201322:14Dorell Wright fizzles in start for 76ers
Dorell Wright started over Jason Richardson (DNP-CD) and played 32 minutes, but hit just 2-of-4 shots and zero 3-pointers for seven points, two rebounds and a steal on Wednesday.
Very strange. With those kind of minutes we expected Wright to post a big stat line, but he was passive tonight. The good news is he started and while it's possible J-Rich was just given the night off for rest, it's also possible that Wright could be ready to stick at SF for Philly. Keep a close eye on this situation when the Sixers play the Rockets on Saturday.

Wed Jan 9 201318:55Dorrell Wright to get the start Wednesday
Dorrell Wright will start Wednesday night against the Raptors.
Wright will start with Jason Richardson missing the game for unspecified reasons. Wright has produced well enough to be worthy of owning in deep leagues and could put up some decent numbers against the Raptors.

Sat Jan 5 201302:41Wright scores 11 points off the bench
Dorell Wright scored 11 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 4-of-8 shots (including three treys) with one rebound, two assists, and three steals in 25 minutes.
Wright has been playing well and producing at a late-round level over the past week, but unless he can topple Jason Richardson (nine points, 29 minutes) he's going to be a deep league asset for the most part.

Thu Jan 3 201301:22Dorell Wright plays 30 minutes, scores 14
Dorell Wright came off the bench for 14 points, three rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers on 6-of-9 shooting in Wednesday's loss.
He played 30 minutes, while starter Jason Richardson saw just 19 minutes in another ugly performance. Richardson is really struggling right now and there could be a window of opportunity for Wright to steal the starting job. Wright scored 28 points last Wednesday, then disappeared with a total of 10 points in his next two. But he's averaging 12 points, five boards and 2.5 3-pointers over his last two games, and would become a must-own player if he does replace J-Rich in the starting five.

Sun Dec 30 201201:07Dorell Wright struggles off Sixers' bench
Dorell Wright returned to the Sixers' bench on Saturday, where he scored two points on 1-of-7 shooting, with five rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes.
Wright can still produce excellent value in sufficient playing time, but his minutes rise and fall depending upon the health of Philly's starters. With Jason Richardson (back) in the starting lineup again, feel free to cut D-Wright for another free agent.

Sat Dec 29 201205:43Wright slows down against his old team
Dorell Wright scored eight points on 3-of-9 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds, one steal, and three blocks in 23 minutes on Friday against the Warriors.
This is a good enough performance for owners that added him to hold on, but with Jason Richardson nearing a return he can only be considered a day-to-day fantasy asset.

Fri Dec 28 201221:29Dorell Wright will start again on Friday
Dorell Wright will get another start on Friday against the Warriors.
Wright is coming off a 28-point, five-triple game on Wednesday and he would be well worth starting in fantasy leagues with Jason Richardson (back) out of the lineup. J-Rich is a game-time decision and those that picked up Wright should hold him until Richardson proves his health.

Thu Dec 27 201200:38Dorell Wright scores season-high 28 in win
Dorell Wright started in place of Jason Richardson (back) and hit 8-of-11 shots and five 3-pointers on his way to a season-high 28 points, six rebounds, a steal and two blocks in Wednesday's win over the Grizzlies.
Wright has scored 20 or more in three of his last five games, but had totaled just 15 points over his last two. If Richardson's going to miss more games, Wright is worth starting in all formats, but should return to being an inconsistent performer once Richardson is back in action. But if you have a player you've been wanting to cut and Wright's available, he might be worth stashing in case Richardson's health continues to be an issue going forward.

Wed Dec 26 201219:54Rudy Gay out for personal reasons Wednesday
Rudy Gay is a last-minute scratch from Wednesday's game due to personal reasons.
It's hard to believe this information didn't start trickling down until right at 8 p.m., which was game time, but that's what happened. Consider Gay day-to-day and look for Quincy Pondexter to start in his place.

Wed Dec 26 201212:52Dorell Wright will start on Wednesday
Dorell Wright will start on Wednesday with Jason Richardson (back) out.
Wright's appeal goes way up with J-Rich riding pine, and he's had two recent games where he's had at least 20 points. He's a great spot start with Richardson out, though his role is much more inconsistent when all of Philly's swingmen are healthy.

Sun Dec 23 201218:14Dorell Wright plays 28 minutes on Sunday
Dorell Wright only scored eight points against the Nets on Sunday, adding six rebounds, three steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.
Despite the low scoring, the production in steals, boards, blocks and triples makes this a worthwhile line for owners that started him. His minutes have gone down with Jrue Holiday back and he's going to be tough to count on in standard leagues at less than 30 minutes per game.

Fri Dec 21 201221:30Wright back to being invisible for the Sixers
Dorell Wright scored seven points on 2-of-5 shooting (including a three) with one rebound and two assists in 20 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Wright had been productive for two straight games but with Jrue Holiday back it appears he won't have enough juice for most fantasy leagues. We'll let you know if he can get on track in the future.

Wed Dec 19 201223:22Dorell Wright goes off with 20 points vs. HOU
Dorell Wright played a season-high 40 minutes against the Rockets on Wednesday and scored 20 points with six rebounds, six assists and three 3-pointers.
Wright is coming off a massive seven-trey game on Tuesday and has played in 31.5 minutes per game in his last four. Wright could also see some excellent short-term value with Evan Turner (ankle) up in the air for the weekend, but don't forget that he was non-existent with a healthy Jrue Holiday.

Wed Dec 19 201200:11Dorell Wright blows up for 25 points, 7 treys
Dorell Wright caught fire on Tuesday, hitting 8-of-18 shots and a season-high seven 3-pointers on his way to a season-high 25 points, five boards, and two assists in 30 minutes.
He's played between 26 and 30 minutes in three straight games with Jrue Holiday sidelined, but hadn't hit double figures in scoring in his previous 17 games, as hard as that may be to believe. Maybe he's worked his way back into the mix, but it's crowded in Philly with Holiday, Nick Young, Evan Turner and Jason Richardson all getting run at the guard and small forward spots. In other words, we'll need to see Wright do this again once Holiday's back before recommending he be an automatic pick up. This was possibly a fluke.

Fri Dec 14 201223:05Wright gets some playing time with Jrue out
Dorell Wright played 30 minutes on Friday with Jrue Holiday (foot) out, scoring nine points on 3-of-7 shooting with nine rebounds, four assists, and one steal.
Doug Collins called on Wright to shoot with more confidence a few days ago, perhaps sensing that he would be needed with Holiday out. Whether it was his confidence or not, Wright has been a ghost after a solid preseason and early start. We need to see more before looking at him as an add.
